Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but the line moves quickly and everyone I've encountered there has been very nice. I love the PO and it's still one of the greatest institutions created. I wish people working from inside the government weren't trying to destroy it from within so they can privatize everything and make more money. So yes, services and people have been cut back and prices have gone up. It's on purpose. Yesterday, I saw one of the young women there having a really difficult time with a customer. She had called for a supervisor but the guy refused to leave her window. I didn't catch the entire interaction. Even when the supervisor came out, he still refused to leave the window and she was trying to wait on me as the next customer. The supervisor finally got him to move over and I interacted with her and told her I could tell it had not been the best day. We sort of got a laugh out of it before I left her window. She was very nice to me. Interestingly enough, I could hear the conversation between this guy and supervisor beside me. He began telling the supervisor he was just trying to get his mail held so he could pick it up and she wouldn't do it. But by the time I left, I heard him say to the supervisor, "she thinks I'm trying to get my ex-wife's mail" and I realized the lady was trying to protect another customer and it sounded like a woman who may be having problems with an ex. I don't know the whole story but if that was an accurate situation, I'm glad someone at the PO cared enough to at least check into something before doing it! Support your Post Offices!

There was at least three or four clerks, and once I got to the counter, the postmaster was so friendly asked how my day was going so helpful. This is very rare and I completely forgot thank her but hopefully this makes up for it.

I shipped my package Priority mail from Long Beach, CA and was supposed to arrive in Joplin, Missouri on Monday 12/22/25 and it is now 12/24/25 9:45pm Missouri time and package is still not there. I've been watching the tracking (SEE BELOW) as you can see where it is stuck at. Incompetent Olathe, KS Facility is where they are lagging and seems it stayed there all dang day on the 22nd. This is unacceptable and I am going to make claim against them and start an investigation on this post office seeing all the bad reviews of how terrible they are. Postal workers should understand that this is government at the highest level and should do their job with integrity, being lazy and lame is no excuse. The guy helping me made sure my photo met government guidelines for passport photos and was the correct size. I got the exact picture I needed for my new passport and was off. I noticed they do a whole variety of packaging and shipping options. Looks like a great place to bring care packages that are needing to be sent. Since I only used their passport photo services I can't speak to anything else, but if you are in the area and need a new photo I recommend going here!

One person was at the front counter helping someone ship a package. One person was at the side counter helping a person with a print job. One person was at the table in the center cutting a print job. She asked me if I was printing blue prints I said no I hadn't done this before I have a retrieval code and I showed it to her. She said you'll have to wait until the person at the side counter helping the customer with the print job is finished and he can do that for you. In the meantime the person at the front counter helping someone ship a package asked me if I was being helped. I said I was waiting in line to complete a print job. He asked to see the retrieval code on my phone. He typed it in the computer he was at and that didn't work so he went to the one on the opposite side of the person helping the customer with the print job. She then tells him that he can't do what he's attempting to do and that he should have asked before he jumped into that. I want to be clear she said that in front of all the staff and the customers. She finished by looking at me and saying you're just going to have to wait. I very much appreciate the gentleman at least making the attempt and I was embarrassed for him and felt guilty because he was trying to help me. But nonetheless resigned to waiting, at which point I'm observing the customer being helped in the print line and it's going to take a while. I then asked her where's the next closest store. She said 135th and BlackBob but you're going have the same problem there. To which I replied that's OK I'm sure I'll like their attitude better than yours. Let me close by saying I was greeted warmly in the other store at 135th & Blackbob. They were fast they were conversational they were engaged they were working together one photo was of my dog and we even talked about my dog and their dogs. All this to say that that store is further from my house but that will be my store going forward because I had a great experience there. And I feel bad for the original store because I know it's not the other employees fault it was just one person who brought the energy down in there for both customer service and interacting with her peers.

In the middle of a panic, late Saturday night, and into Sunday, I started to reach out to local shops, hoping that at the very least someone would reach out to me on Monday, since most, if not, all of them were closed on Sundays. Sure enough I eventually found MOSS Printing, and saw that Jose generously put his personal cell number up for people to reach out to him. So Sunday morning I sent him a message, and within 15 minutes he calls me directly after reading my message to talk over the details. Within five minutes of speaking over the phone, he said that it would be no problem to handle our last second print job for the wedding programs, and told me he'd be in first thing Monday morning to do it personally. After coming in Monday morning on April 17, I met Jose in person, gave him the file for the front and back of the program. as well as dimensions and total amount that I needed, and same day at 4 PM all 150 of the wedding programs were printed and ready to go for me to pick up. They looked great, felt great, and Jose was able to find a nearly identical type of paper to what we had already used for other aspects of the wedding. Throughout the entire process, Jose, exhibited great communication and was fun to chat with as well. If you are in the market for getting something printed, like signs/ programs for a wedding or something for your business. Then look no further than MOSS Printing. Jose and his staff treated me and my last second request/ needs with professionalism, kindness, and urgency and provided a high quality finished product. The only time you see them is when they are about to close. Then they come out to just take easy orders like picking up mail or dropping off. Management is horrible there and they don't mind leaving that one employee (usually the last one through the door of employment) to do all while they do zero. They run out of things like stamps etc. I felt like I was in line at a communist country. And management's arrogance over nothing is unmatched. I always feel sorry for that one employee left with zero help. Shame on management at this office. You are horrible and should not even been ever promoted nor paid as you don't do anything to help your employees it customers.
