I frequent this post office about 3-4 times a week typically in the afternoons and always have a great experience speaking with the man at the far right of the counter, he is always amazing and consistent in his work. However today I entered and proceeded to get yelled by the African American woman to wait in line like the "rest of the people" despite having pre-paid packages. This has never happened to me so I proceeded to ask the woman why this was happening and she said "it has always been like this" despite never being told this ever for the past year and a half. I do not recommend going to this location if you don't want to be given attitude. read more

A completely inefficient operation. One person handling package pickup window taking 15 minutes-plus per customer. Seems to be unable to locate most customers packages. No wonder the service is losing business to the other services. read more

FYI: No more drive thru package drop off; you have to go inside and drop off your (prepaid postage) package.

Panther Creek Post Offiice is consistantly the most efficient post office I ever been too. There are usually 3 clerks working the line that are the fastest and most knowledgeable clerks I've had the pleasure to deal with. read more

The service that I received at the Port Office on Gosling was horrible. Their rude and have no respect for their customers. I will complain to management. Negative stars really! Is it too hot to go out and empty the drive through box? If you are going to tape it up, then at least close off the drive through so that you don't have even more two way driving down an already busy car park when customers find it is closed off after driving down to it (can't see it easily from the entrance to the PO) It's not that I'm too lazy to take mail inside, but it's always a 'free for all' trying to get out of a parking space. At least make it one way, like the PO office on Pinecroft! Not going to even mention the surly staff! read more

Zero Score! 1. Ridiculously long lines all the time that takes about 15-20 minute wait. 2. Self-service machines are often down. 3. The clerks' customer service skills are non-existent. Seen things here that were so wrong. 4. 2-day Priority letter ($9.78) mailed on Friday, expected delivery on Monday, just arriving at North Houston USPS sorting facility on Wednesday. Five days to go from Gosling Rd. to North Houston USPS sorting facility when it was a 2-day ship and the sorting facility is only 44 minutes from my house! If we're paying their salary, why are they treating us like scum and why aren't we getting the services we're paying for? read more

We went for my daughter's passport application, From the beginning til the end of the process she was being so rude to me and my husband, as if we are illiterate, is that because we are asian? She was not nice at all. Monique if maybe sometimes, be nicer next time, even if you are too busy, learn how to work under pressure. Maybe go to a customer service seminar workshop as well. I think every person working here at the counter needs a personality reboot. Except one man who actually doesn't try to make people feel like idiots. So, once every 10 years I have to renew my passport. Not a fun task and comes with a few questions. I've had endure the rude, incompetent, idiotic "postal clerks" at this location for over 10 years. Today i needed to purchase 4 rolls of stamps ($196.00), so i had to get service at the counter. After a 10 minute wait in line, i was rudely summoned to the counter for my turn by a clown named Tuan. i asked for the 4 rolls. He disappeared for 5 minutes and finally returned with them. i swiped my AMEX card and he promptly snorted that he needed to see my ID. No problem. i handed him my drivers license. At that point, the transaction had been approved by the machine, but this jackwad proceeded to state that USPS policy requires a signature on the back of the card. I've carried, and used, this card since 1989 and have never signed the back of it. i asked if he was kidding me, and he responded by moving the rolls of stamps off the counter and looking over my shoulder and saying "next"... I am going to invest whatever time and money necessary to insure that something changes at this location. Nobody in this neighborhood deserves to put up with this crap anymore. read more

Hate to pile on, BUT whenever I go on vacation they continue to deliver mail to my home even though I signed up to have it forwarded. When I return, they continue to FORWARD my mail even though I had scheduled the forwarding to stop. Customers in line are treated rudely and inconsiderately by most employees. read more

Lines are ALWAYS long, clerks are ALWAYS rude, and at least two out of the three self-service machines are ALWAYS out of order. Plus it is very messy and looks like a hurricane just went through. This location is literally the worst one I've ever been to. read more

I scheduled an appointment today at 2:45 to get my passport renewed. I get there at 2:43. I wait at the passport counter for a few minutes, and a lady at the desk tells me that if I'm here for a passport, I need to go to another door and ring the bell. So I did. I told the person at the door I'm here for my passport appointment and she says "ok, please go wait at the counter and someone will be with you shortly" - the counter where I had previously been standing. I wait there for 45 minutes. The entire time there are three workers at the counters next to me and no one says a word. Finally another person who I assume handles the passports comes to the counter looking surprised to see me. She told me to get a passport that I need to make an appointment. I told her that I did; it was at 2:45 and I got here at 2:43. She literally tells me "no you wasn't." I was flummoxed, and repeated that I have been standing here for 45 minutes. I told her if she doesn't believe me to ask the other workers at the counter, who I've been standing about 15 feet away from this whole time, and that I had literally spoken to them about this 45 minutes ago. (I've since learned by speaking to the workers at the Pinecroft post office that it is policy to print the schedule for the day; this lady never consulted or mentioned a schedule.) She continued in an extremely rude and dismissive way to say that I was lying, and that I need to schedule an appointment for another day because I failed to show up. She then claimed that she just got done with another family who was here for passport photos at 3:18, by this time about fifteen minutes ago. (Later when she tried to repeat that claim she changed the time to 3:00.) I asked if she had been helping the family in the back or somewhere out of sight. She said "no, right here. And you wasn't here." I became livid; (though, unlike her, I did not lose my temper) I don't know how someone could not only insist on a lie to someone who knows she is lying, but to be rude about it. I've been standing here in this very spot for over 45 minutes now! Literally no one has been in this spot except for me; not her, much less a whole family getting their pictures taken. She walks off, and I'm thinking that she might have gone to get her manager. I wait another five minutes or so and she comes back and tells me that she can't help me anyway, because they only assist minors at their location. I understand that the government postal service system sucks; I scheduled my appointment on their website where I checked "1 Adult and no minors" and it said I was good to go. But it would've been nice for them to have told me that 45 minutes ago when I showed up not being a minor nor having any minors in tow. Instead, I spent 45 minutes of my day on nothing, only to be rudely dismissed, falsely blamed, and called a liar. I spoke to her manager, but like the DMV and other government services, I highly doubt anything will be done. I bet they don't even care to read reviews of any sort. Why would they? They don't have to compete for our business. read more

They have had an order of mine from overseas HOSTAGE there for over a WEEK I do not live in the Houston area but after reading the reviews and feuding over on ETSY over international orders it is best never to order anything from there or anything that is going to end up or go through this post office, just stick to EBAY and orders that have a more reliable courier option. read more

1 star is awarding The Woodlands TX post office on Gosling too high! Hands down, the absolute WORST post office in Houston! We travel often and fill out the hold mail request forms online as required, with the "post office delivers accumulated mail" selected at the end of the hold period. There is a problem EVERY SINGLE TIME and we have to make the time in our very busy schedules to go in to the post office and pick up our mail. Several important letters and checks were returned to sender as "undeliverable" for no apparent reason other than their couldn't-care-less attitude. AND after our most recent mail pick up of accummulated mail, there was another note in our mailbox 2 days later informing us to come in again because there was not enough space in our mailbox for a couple of letters, a magazine and some junk flyers which fit with ease! So they can't just put the mail on our covered front porch instead? It is tiresome and very frustrating dealing with this branch. And the USPS wonders why they have such a shockingly poor reputation... read more

When you put your mail on hold, you pick a date to resume service. They NEVER resume service unless you personally go in and request it. They pretend it was a one-time glitch. Don't forget to go in and get your mail upon return, it's not coming to your mailbox. read more

I go to this post office quite a bit, and just the other day I had the worst experience I've had at this location. I walk in and bring in about 8 or so boxes. These boxes had books from a collection I did throughout the community. I collected over 2,000 books. They were going to a library in Africa. After waiting patiently. I get up to the desk and I am greeted with a frown, she weighs my package, asks about hazardous materials etc. then the unthinkable happens. She tosses the box off the counter with 1 hand and it falls into and empty bin and I hear CRUNCH. There goes 3-4 HOURS, carefully packing the books. I was VERY CLEAR on with her that there are books in there, and she still tossed it into the crate and looks at me. I then told her, can you please be careful with those boxes, they have BOOKS in them. Looks at me again, still frowning and ROLLS HER EYES. TOTALLY unprofessional. Don't go here unless you want your packages mishandled and thrown. If I could I would give this location 0 STARS. Terrible service. Take some care in what you do. Never sending packages here again. read more
