No one really likes to go in to the post office. But we don't mind coming here. The workers here are great - they're fast and efficient as can be. One gentleman at the end was very pleasant and happy to be there, super helpful. We were here to take care of our new keys for our mailbox. We were told to bring our closing docs, fill out two forms along with an ID. Returned the next day with everything and it was taken care of within 5 minutes. Thanks for the fast and efficient service and getting us out of there quickly! Minus one star because we still had to stand in line and wait - but overall, great service, clean and we took care of what we needed to take care of! read more

Someone is using our address to apply for credit cards. We are receiving all of the cards and correspondence regarding his attempts. I contacted and spoke to the Conroe post office and the main USPS and was assured they would stop all of this person's mail and flag it as fraud. Not only am I still receiving mail but all of the mail that was put in as return to sender is being returned to me. Come on people, you cannot be this incompetent. When an envelope says "return to sender" and "not at this address" you should be able to figure it out. read more

One of the worse post office. I get better service just the next town over. Never answer the phone. I have mail sent back to sender saying it was undeliverable. I've had mail with signature required and still not received, until I had a confrontation with the postal worker. Mail later found in his truck. Very disorganized. Absolutely the worst post office I have ever been to. Very disorganized and the employees do not even understand their own shipping methods and insurance options. Getting mail from here is awful. On another note, this is also the office location that delivers our mail to our house and they also drop the ball delivering mail! Things are often placed in the wrong mailbox (thankfully I have nice neighbors) and I've even had two mailmen say they do not have enough time to sort through our outgoing mail so they just leave it, and highly recommend not using any of the outgoing mail boxes. I caught it open one time and it was CRAMED with outgoing mail, it made me furious. Some of it might be junk, but what about things like paid bills or cards going to friends and family? Avoid if possible. I pay more to ship elsewhere to hopefully have as little to do with the post office as possible. I have made multiple complaints to USPS but our outgoing mail is still overflowing and the employees still don't know their stuff. read more

Service hours don't reflect what community needs. 9-Noon on Saturday? Come on! Try 7:30 am - 1 pm. I had to come pick up a small package that has easily fit in my mailbox before because I've ordered glasses from this company so many times. Only for them to tell me that they aren't there for pick up and are out for delivery when the tracking number says it's ready for pick up. This place is a joke. Literally the most ass backwards post office I've dealt with in my life. TWO packages attempted to be delivered and then returned. Ok a bit confusing I put all the correct information. I go to the pick up and they fight me that the tracking number isn't popping up on their end. I clearly show them 17TRACK app SHOWING where the package is. WITH THEM. But because they can't look up the number, they refuse to go look in the back for it. Like I swear to god do more than the bare freaking minimum!!! I live at 1101 Wilson Rd Conroe TX 77301 at an apartment complex and our out going mail has not been picked up for months therefore all of our bills are late & stuck in the outgoing mail box. Why can't you guys pick up a box? It's like a 50/50 whether or not the SCHEDULED PICKUP will actually come and pick up my freaking box. My customers get their boxes late a lot due to this sheer incompetence. I can't be expected to spend an hour delivering a package everyday, especially when I'm out and about. Horrible service, horrible place. When you enter to the place it looks like you went back to the eighties. They add layers and layer of paint to a dirty floor, everything looks dirty and old. You have to wait an hour or more to get held mail. When you ask when are they going to label the mail box in our new community, they simply say the same "We don't know". On February 15, 2020 I paid for mine and my tenant's new mailbox keys, and as of today, April 8, 2020, we still don't have our new mailbox keys. No one at this Post Office can tell us when our mailboxes will be re-keyed. When I try to call the number for this facility, 936-441-6055, no one answers and there isn't a voicemail that allows you to leave a message so that a manager will call back. I waited 41 minutes to pick up my mail today. I'm always ready to wait at least 30 minutes. The people are always kind once you make it to the window. We also paid for new mail box keys over two weeks ago and they are telling us it will be a couple more weeks. No complaint about the employees but something is broken. Less than 0 stars!!!! We closed on our new home on 3/23/21 and didn't get keys to our mailbox until last week (6/24/21!!). We've had to go into the PO to get our mail the entire time and it's been a miserable experience every time. An hour or more in line, poorly working air conditioning, terrible smelling building, and most of the workers are beyond rude and impatient. Loads of missorted mail... and it has carried over to our delivery as well. One of my large and expensive packages was delivered over 35 minutes away, another package says it was placed in my mailbox but was clearly not. After filing a claim on the missing package, they emailed that the case was closed because they couldn't find it. I'm currently waiting on a VERY important piece of certified mail that was supposed to be here on the 25th and it is now the 29th. This has got to be the worst post office on the planet. I have lived here for two years, putting up with rural mail carriers sticking someone else's mail in my box, while mine goes missing. Packages too. The people at this address before me never left a forwarding address. Stupid mail carrier left a nasty note in my box the first time I took the old owner's mail and wrote "Return to Sender" on it! I've had to resort to taking the old owners mail to Willis on a regular basis to avoid getting my ass chewed by Conroe PO employees for trying to return the mail to the rightful owner. Currently I am living in my RV on my property while trying to sell my obviously vacant house. Recently, my rural mail carrier went PAST my RV (where I am obviously living) to go knock on the door of my empty house to deliver a certified letter containing a check pertaining to the sale of my home, which required a signature to deliver. Since I am not living in the house, the letter didn't get delivered. All she had to do was knock on the door of my RV and I would have noticed she was there and signed for the letter! It took me over a week and 3 separate visits to this horribly mis-managed post office to finally track down my money. There is always a huge line of people in this post office, with similar problems as mine. Recently I sent a written check payment on a loan I have with a credit union in Orange TX. Payment never arrived and I had to scramble and go to the bank and wire my payment to the lender on the day it was due to avoid getting a late/non-payment hit on my credit. A month later my missing check came back, having gone all the way to Orange CALIFORNIA! Seriously! My handwriting is NOT that bad! Due to this, and also after numerous packages kept going missing and being delivered in lock boxes to neighbors who were gone on extended trips, I went and rented a mail box from the UPS store in Willis.
