Inefficiency at its best! The Christmas Season, with a line outside the door, yet only TWO walk up clerks. THEN ONLY ONE CKERK/WINDOW!!!! I'm not certain how long it will take to get to the head of the line, but it won't be any time soon. And, they are trying to do passports also. That takes an inordinate amount of time with people filling out paperwork with the clerk, language differences, and pictures being taken. Then the unbelievable: One window closes and the clerk tells the clerk next to him, "I need help closing out". The one clerk left goes to help and there are NO clerks working! I do NOT recommend coming here. This was a horrible experience, for 4 reasons. I usually never do any ratings under 4, but this place passes the limit. First, the lines were so long, because of that when we went to get a new passport, there was only ONE employee. Second, there were no seats to sit in, and to make it worse we had to wait for 30-45 min. And I felt bad for my friend that we saw there, Cuase they waited for more than ONE AND A HALF HOURS. Like bro. There was a woman there that wanted to speak to the manager, and usually I would call them a Karen, but this time I 100% agreed with her. Now the thing was, the one worker there was pretty funny and he did let me and my friend get our passports, but we supposedly "didn't make a reservation" even tho we did. So we had to wait longer. But at the end, (45 min) we finally got our passports. read more

1 star is way too high! First of all, many people waiting in line for the 1 worker here, Second, the AC is non-existent just like the efficiency here. Third, then they asking me for I.D, and birth certificates (which no one has just laying in their pocket. Fourth, there was a lady complaining about how this place doesn't run correctly, and asking for their manager. Now, usually I would say that they are a karen, but I agree! This post office has really been great for us - especially preparing so many important mailings for my daughter's wedding. The staff has been very helpful with mailing internationally. I was also really happy how the latest postal worker handled the invitations with care. That said they are very understaffed, so patient is necessary when you come here. I don't criticize the people that are working because it isn't their fault that they need help! read more

I have my PO Box at this post office, so I come here often. The staff is incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. They've really gone above and beyond during my interactions with them. I also appreciate that they have a mandatory mask policy during COVID. There is plenty of parking, which is very convenient. They also have self-service machines, which are useful when the lines are long. My only complaint is that they constantly put notices in my box when I have larger envelopes instead of just sticking them in my box (they fit). They're not open on Saturday, so if you have a large envelope delivery you have to wait until Monday or until the following day to access your mail. It's pretty annoying. read more

Awful. Asian guy ... Tran ... just seems to really enjoy being rude to customers. Government worker of the worst kind. The whole office is terribly inefficient as well. I would do anything to avoid coming here, but sometimes you have to (as in the case of a passport application). USPS employees, you are working yourselves out of your cushy jobs. People will find ways around using the USPS. They already are. It's only a matter of time and, as fat as I am concerned, it can't be fast enough!!!! Good luck finding jobs elsewhere. read more

First issue is they didn't ring my doorbell when dropping off my package, and just left a notice on the door saying to come pick it up at the office. How am I supposed to sign for the package if you don't even bother to use the doorbell or even knock? This was on a Friday afternoon. I was home. I could have signed if you literally just made yourself known at the door with the bell or knocker. The notice they left on the door said I could come either during regular business hours on Mondays through Fridays, or on Saturday only between 9-11am, to pick up my package from this office. The following day, on a Saturday, I drove here, got here at 10:30am, so before the window would close, went inside and they refused to answer the parcel pickup door after knocking, and ringing the little doorbell, despite me hearing them RIGHT ON THE OTHER SIDE, talking and carrying on. Wasted my time. There is a sign on the main door saying they are closed on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday, which unfortunately was not mentioned anywhere on the package pickup slip, so why the hell would you have on the slip saying there is a small window between 9-11am on Saturdays where you are able to come pick up packages? Ridiculous and unprofessional. read more

It's a real bummer that I don't think I've come in once without encountering a long line. If it wasn't such a convenient stop on my way home from work, I'd avoid it all together but eh, ya know. I will say, every staff member that I've interacted with here has been pretty pleasant, which I guess keeps me coming back. You enter one way and exit another in the curvy parking lot. Not a bad arrangement. I try to use the self-serve kiosk whenever possible. Give yourself at least 30 minutes otherwise. You probably won't be in and out. read more

We went to get our passport and this man was on a power trip, we apparently didn't get confirmed to an appointment because he said there's a different between variation code & confirmation code yet we weren't the only ones who had the same thing happen because there system doesn't send a continuous form to fill out... I asked about it and instead of explaining he got got defensive and pretty much said well that's not my problem with an aggressive, rude tone when I was just trying to ask questions. Then, at one point, he told us all to move out of the way for the customers yet there was only three of us in there. What customers? We were the customers. At the end of the day I was trying to tell him there system needs to be looked at and he was like well that's not me I know but you represent usps and the worst interaction. He really didn't need to be on the floor when there was already 2-3 workers he just wanted to boss people around. read more

I created a Yelp account to just to make this review. This place is unreal. I can't believe this is The Woodlands Post Office. They need a hidden camera show, a realty TV show, or something! I mean, what do these employees do all day? Besides blot out rainbows from the sky and take candy from unsuspecting children? if you're having a good day you should enter through their doors. They steal all your joy. It took me 3 trips and my salvation to get our passports sent off. I now need a mailbox key. God help me. Got the paper work from the post office to replace it. Took it back and they, "Don't do that any more." Really? in the last 24 hrs since you have been open you don't do that any more? When I showed the employee my paper work she asked "Who gave that to you?" IT WAS HER! to which she responded, "The Township does that now". Well, I called and no one told them. I even talked with the company that replaces the mailboxes when they break....everyone says the Post Office replaces keys because they deliver the mail. That's what I thought! At this point I don't even believethey do that...Do they need my blood? my first born child? How the h*ll do I get a mailbox replacement key? read more

This was my first time at this location, and all i can say is wow! My home location is hit or miss, but everyone here was very pleasant, and the employee that rand up my stamps purchase was friendly and patient while I browsed the stamp catalog. I ended up with the Sesame Street stamps, because who doesn't love Sesame Street?! Just before I walked out, I remembered that I also needed to get an estimate on a package that I need to mail internationally. A different employee helped me with that, since the employee that helped me before was occupied. Again, prompt, friendly service. I'll definitely return to this branch if I'm on this side of town with items to mail. read more

Refrained many times from posting a review but since yet again I am waiting 3 days (so far) for a package that they are holding hostage... I'm fed up. Countless times I've had packages reach this location on their trip to me and then they spend anywhere from 1-3 additional days sitting before eventually being delivery. There are either no reasons given or some standardized nonsense is issued. When I say additional days, that's counting from the day the online tracking shows it being checked in with them as arrived/received. Of course that just adds to my frustration given that 95% of the time they received my package at some early to very early morning time. That day gets burned for who knows what and then the additional day counts begin. Unfortunately, I now do everything I can to avoid things coming to me via USPS because they're so consistently bad...this includes paying a little extra to ship through others. If I could give a zero star I will! Had appointment to get a passport for my wife and my son and this Asian guy who processes the passport have a bad attitude problem. He runs his mouth with a nasty attitude. Look if you can handle customer service get out and find another job! If you choose to do it, I suggest get a new attitude and provide a service with a smile. So grateful, there aren't many post offices that have self service kiosks. Having a child in the Navy, I send a lot of packages, but the hectiveness of 12 hour shifts, makes it hard to ship during daytime business hours. This office not only have one kiosk, but they have two. Even though one was out of order, the one available worked just fine. The Bad thing about this post office, is its in the Woodlands area, which means it's in the Woods, and dark. There is no lightning around this post office, getting in and out of your car is very unsecure, had to leave my headlights on to have some light. The inside of the building is well lit, but not the parking lot. read more

This is not my fav post office. Almost every time except my last visit I always have to wait in line 45 plus minutes and I come on off hours. In line all I have to look at is a shabby post office with very outdated and chipped counters, nasty linoleum and shipping labels all strewn in a messed on the ugly chipped counter. While waiting in line I feel like I'm not in The Woodlands. Well actually I'm not. I'm in Spring, TX. This is so annoying when giving out my address because most companies will default almost all The Woodlands residents to Spring, TX. We now for many years have are own official much nicer post office in the heart of The Woodlands but this old post office is still set up to default 4 cities to Spring, TX. Actually it's a bit common I found out. Very annoying. Plus I have horrible mail service. I just plain don't receive mail, it's delayed or given to some other address with the similar sounding street which there is an abundance of. I have a hunch this post office might have been built prior to The Woodlands but I'm not sure. All I know it's time for a total remodel and acknowledge the residents correct deeded address city to their zip code. Maybe mail delivery would be more proficient. Post office workers at the counter are usually nice. Haven't encountered any b*tches yet. Lots of parking out front. Christmas time expect up to 1 1/2 to 2 hours wait. They do have 2 self serve machines for letters and packages and post office boxes. You have to use a credit card on the automated machines. They do close full service I believe at 4:30pm. 15 years of my mail being delivered by this post office, and not the slightest improvement in all of those years. Yet again, I'm out $$$ because my package was either never delivered, or misdelivered to the wrong address. The USPS confirmed it was delivered to my box (key locked), although it was not. I have not doubt that delivering mail entails long, exhausting hours... that does not excuse the high level of inaccuracy in delivery. read more

They never pick up the phone, I've been given fake names by employees on who to contact next time I call and when I call asking for that person they say there is no employee with that name. I've been waiting 3.5 months on a key for my mailbox, which they started delivering mail even though we don't have access to it, I've talked to countless people about it and been in person to the post office regarding this matter and they told me to left a letter for our delivery person and even like that they have not stopped delivering to the mailbox we don't have access to. I know they have a lot of work but this is just bad customer service. read more

Went to mail a package that was prepaid and the blonde woman at the counter informs me the box is way over, so that I would need to come back and redo the label. I mentioned that I could just pay for this out of pocket, but she basically was ready to assist the next person in line. This location is god awful. I once had a package brought back here because I wasn't home to sign, they never left a notice to tell me what had happened, so I called to find out since the tracking information said it was delivered. They finally tell me they have it at the location an that I need to pick it up. I go in on a Saturday, and I spent nearly fifteen minutes knocking on the package pick up door to have someone come open it. I could literally hear people talking an laughing in the other side of the wall while I'm banging on this door; I opened a mail slot and looked directly at them and told them to come open the door. This wasn't even the worse story with this location. I've had three packages go "missing" either do to inadequate drivers misplacing the items or the drivers themselves stealing it. Every time I'm met with no real answers, sent in loops with forms & phone calls and told that they won't reimburse me for the packages their drivers "lose"; all because the shippers didn't include insurance on it. Let's just be honest, insurance for USPS is a scam; they're the only shipping company in America that we are forced to pay for their services every month whether we use it or not, then we have to pay extra to ship a package, then we have to pay even extra to get insurance just so if they mess up, they'll give tax payer money back to tax payers. It's ridiculous. The most recent time they lost one of my packages, the local manager told me they couldn't do anything else for me and to file a claim online. The online service says I can't file a claim because there was no insurance, the representative from the company told me that the local manager should not have told me to file a claim because I didn't have the option to. So when I call the manager back to ask for the phone number for the facility of which the driver that delivered my package (because the normal drivers was sick), she copped an attitude with me and told she wasn't going to tell me because I was being rude with how I asked to speak the manager when I called. Sorry? Y'all lost my mail for the third time, I lose my property, I lose my money, you tell me to file a claim when I can't and now I'm not allowed to be angry? So this location not just employs inadequate drivers but also hire inadequate managers that don't even know how to do their job right and give customers wrong information. read more

I get thru the whole process and if won't take my 3 credit cards. So, I stand in line for the other kiosk. It takes my CC. This post office has been delivering my mail for the last 11+ years. It has been pure misery for 11+ years. Mail is constantly delivered to the wrong houses, or possibly not delivered at all. My most recent incident was a piece of jewelry (low value) that was ordered online to ship to my home. They show the package was delivered, although it was not. I flagged down the delivery driver and asked them to check my neighbor's boxes for the package, they were not able to locate it. I then called the location. After looking up my tracking #, they suggested that I file a claim... and were of no further assistance. Unfortunately the seller didn't offer insurance, so I was unable to file a claim on this Priority Mail. This is not the first time this has happened, in fact... once they lost a rather large box containing multiple pairs of shoes from DSW (seems like that would be hard to misplace). They have proven time and again that they are unable to deliver mail or take any accountability for their constant mistakes. read more

Wow! I have never had a worse customer service experience anywhere! They were a full five minutes late in opening, and when they did open, the lady was more interested in fiddling with the blinds than opening the door. She made some lame excuse about the computers not working, but they should have communicated that at or before opening time, not after making us wait. Then, when I got inside, I just asked how to pick up a key for my mailbox (I had been here before to fill out paperwork, and they told me someone would get back to me, but they never did). The young lady who "helped" me was extremely rude and hostile. Her first words to me were, "driver's license?" with rude stare and a "no he didn't" head shake. I am tired of dwelling on this, so let's just say it never got better, but I finally got my key, after some quite unnecessary back and forth (who knows how long it had been there with no one telling me!). When i tried to discreetly address this issue with the manager she comes over and makes a huge scene asking what she did wrong and how she was rude. After moving into our new home in Falls @ Imperial Oaks, we've spent the last 3 weeks making a trip to the post office each week to find out why we can't get our mail even though we filled out a change of address a month ago. From your house isn't on a map, to your house isn't on a map but we know where it is, to we're going to reevaluate the route on both sides of you to add your home, to your mails gonna start by next week, to your mails gonna start tomorrow, maybe even today, to still no mail going into the 4th week next week. Local number no one answers, opened a complaint ticket, no response in a week so far, Conroe location only refers back to local number " says I'm outta luck then" ... To now trying to file a complaint at a much higher level ( leave your phone number band we'll call you back) .... I ordered a small package and it was sent by certified mail. I checked status online today and it says the USPS attempted to delivered the package but nobody was there to receive it and a notice was left. The fact is I was home and there was no delivery attempt and there was no notice. This is the second incident in the last 2 months with my certified mails. They just lie and do not want to deliver the package. Instead, they want you to go pick it up! This is just unacceptable service. read more

This is the worst Post Office that I have ever seen and I have been around awhile. I live in an apartment complex. The office at the complex has tried to get USPS to try to deliver the packages to the individual apartments before leaving the packages in the office: However, they had had difficulties in getting them to do this. Due to resident complaints, the office quite accepting packages, but even this did not work. Instead, the carriers started sneaking through the back door used by maintenance leaving the packages in the back room. Because of this, they put a sign on the back door stating that no deliveries would be received at that door. The carrier continued to abuse this access point. The office finally put their foot down and looked the door. Now if the packages is too large to fit into one of the larger keyed boxes, the are returned to the sender and no delivery attempt is made. I have even seen the carriers drop all the package on the office stoop when the office is closed. I have seen them setting outside in the open from Saturday at 5:00PM until Sunday at 1:00PM. Then the office has to drag them inside to keep them safe. It is sad that the are so incompetent and have so little respect for the job they are getting paid to perform. We has disabled and handicapped residents here who are having there items return when they have to other way to get the things they need. Shame on you Post Master. You should run a tighter ship. I thing the Post Office should be privatized. My husband is a retired letter carrier and I have seen firsthand the abuses of the employees. read more

I came to get my new mailbox keys 10 days ago, Monday 5/18. Gave information and filled out the paperwork, paying $25. She says, "they might get to it today but it's raining so don't know, a couple of days, they will call you". Started calling on Friday, 5/22, after 22 calls, no one answers the phone. I go by today thinking they may have failed to call me. Wait in line for 20 minutes. Get the same blonde lady and guess who is the idiot, me!! "Did they call you?" "No but it's been 10 days." "Well they will call you." "You said a couple of days." "I NEVER tell anyone a couple of days." I am talking about a government employee lying through her teeth. Want to hear the recording?
