They have a self service machine but it's out of service.... Tomball USPS is the absolute worst. How hard is it to sort your mail route and succeed in your day? I also have a package marked "delivered" and it was not in my box when I went to retrieve it. I called as a courtesy and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. USPS reps applied for the job, went to the interview, accepted the job, and started working. The customer does not owe you anything, you get paid to do your job. Maybe it's not their fault, management should be held accountable for the poor service. If the goal of this post office is to keep customers guessing where their mail is, they're absolutely crushing it. Packages are routinely marked "delivered" when they are very much not delivered. Sometimes they appear the next day like a magic trick, and sometimes they vanish into the void entirely. Tracking updates feel more like suggestions than facts. When you're waiting on something important, the constant confusion gets old fast. Overall, it's been a frustratingly unreliable experience. if I could give 0 or negative stars I would. been waiting over a year for a replacement mailbox key, I come to check bc it's 30 mins out of my way to get my mail & they aren't ready yet the next day every single neighbor of mine is checking their mail. this post office has no problems wasting your time, lying to your face like you're the idiot when in fact they always are. This USPS employee stole packages from our front porch. I recently found that we're not the only ones she's stolen from. She admitted to the theft and claimed she turned the packages over to Amazon the following day. She did not. After an hour long investigation, USPS closed the investigation and claimed they retrained the employee and assured us tracking would be updated shortly. It's been 11 days and there's no tracking info uploaded. Also, the packages were meant for UPS, not Amazon. We recently found someone else she stole from over a year ago. She was a substitute for our full time mail carrier and she's free to continue her thieving spree. Please contact me if you've also had packages stolen by this carrier. read more

I'm no fan of the USPS, that's for sure. But I've got to admit that this location is a whole lot nicer in appearance and a great deal friendlier than the Klein Station closer to my home. Came here recently to drop off all of my Christmas cards. We were in the area already and figured we'd stop here rather than battle the horrible parking, messy facility and rude employees at the Klein Station. I was surprised to see that this particular USPS facility is very easy to access, very well maintained and has a convenient, super-large outdoor drop mailbox. Alas, while we were driving through the lane to get to the outdoor mailbox, we discovered that a USPS employee had just finished emptying the contents and was walking back into the station. What a surprise when she stopped and waited for us to be adjacent to her so she could include our cards going straight into the building! A very gracious "Thank you" was said to her, to which she replied "You're very welcome." Wow! A nice USPS employee? Shocking, but how marvelous to encounter someone working here that was pleasant and obviously willing to please a customer. read more

They are the worse. They will steal your package and when calling to check where the package is they always give you the run around and say they will call you back and never do. They keep getting away with it. I'm sick and tired. They also claimed they delivered my dogs medication and gave me the wrong key. They never delivered it. They are the absolute worst. I now have to get everything delivered to my boyfriend's house. It is ridiculous that I have to be forced to do that. Who ever is running this post office has to be held accountable read more

This post office has the rudest people handling the phones. They continually act as if it's not their job to find out what the hell is going on with your mail delivery or mishandling of any packages, etc. If you don't want to answer to the public, don't ask for bail out money, close and let someone else come in and take over. The person delivering my mail has got to be totally the most thoughtless, uncaring and dis-concerned person in the world. It's totally ok to him/her to drive over the curb and trench my yard every day crushing French drains and sprinkler heads. What's wrong with this person? This person has been running on to my yard every day for at least for a week now. The damage caused I will have to pay to have repaired. The USPS in Tomball needs to do something to stop this and take care of the repair costs. I have lived at this location since 2004 and the french drains and sprinkler system has been here since then. On another note about this mail person. I frequently have other peoples mail delivered to my mail box. Makes me wonder how much of my mail gets delivered to someone other than me. read more

Avoid this post office at all costs. The kiosk never works, the people never know what's going on, and they're slow as molasses there. They just don't care. Their hours are Bankers hours, always find out if they're open before you go they have very few hours. read more

They just let it ring and eventually you get a recorded message to dial "1" first, which, if you are naive enough to do, is just a flashback of your first attempt. I don't see any use in being redundant and wasting your time, dear reader; do a cursory scan of all the one star reviews here and enlighten yourself. One package showed to be delivered to my mailbox, but after checking it was not. I left a note on my mailbox and the package never showed up. One week later I had two more packages shown to be delivered. This time there was a key left behind for the bigger boxes. To my dismay, the key did not open any of the boxes. Another note was left asking if this was a joke because it was getting to the point where all I could do was laugh. I called the post office the next morning at 9:30am so frustrated. The rep tracked all of my packages and sent another carrier out to deliver the mail and check for my missing items . Around 3pm the same day the carrier called and FOUND my packages! They were in another big box (not the one the key was supposed to open). Great customer service to help me resolve my issue - they never once sounded irritated or annoyed that I had an issue. Great idea, right? It would have been great if the self service kiosks worked...but I went to two post offices tonight, and both said that the service was temporarily unavailable due to technical difficulties!! Nice people, but they just don't do their job. We get our neighbor's mail fairly often, so our neighbor gets their mail hand delivered from me on those days. Nothing too personal though. It's mainly ads and their credit card statement from Victoria Secret. They also sometimes wont deliver packages, but just put a note to pick them up. So you may pay to have something delivered, only to go drive and wait 30 minutes in line to pick it up yourself. It's actually a brilliant scheme now that I think about it. read more
