Avoid this UPS store!! The staff are helpful, but Nick - the manager, -has very poor interpersonal…read moreskills and escalates challenging situations by blaming the customer and refusing to engage in any meaningful way when problems occur. When my package was sent to the UPS "Fraud Department" due to a glitch in the UPS system (their computer issued 2 receipts for the same package: one for shipping the package and another for payment), Nick stalled for months. Even though the Fraud Dept told me they had the package and it was safe, that they just needed confirmation from the store manager, UPS eventually lost the package. Nick then told me UPS acknowledged that the loss was their fault and would issue a full refund for the contents of the package, even though the package was not insured. I didn't hear back from Nick for almost 2 months. When I stopped by the store, Nick told me that UPS would not issue a refund, and that he was in a big "battle" with the company about it. He refused to send me copies of his correspondence, or updates of any kind and said that this was for the "protection" of UPS. He then told me he was busy and it was a lot of work to enter all the info manually... so it's not clear that he ever did anything at all to get my package back or get a refund. When I told him that this had been a terrible experience, he told me that was my "opinion". When I said I had used UPS for years, but I didn't want to go through this again, he said I had "options". I asked what they are? Nick said I could "use FedEx or USPS"! This man should NOT be in a managerial position. I had used that store for years for shipping orders for our business, but I will never go back there again.

Also, whenever I need the packing materials they have them right there in the store and they don't mind helping me secure whatever I'm shipping. They are much easier and more helpful than the post office and I really like going to a local/family business over one of the bigger chains.

I have used their services back in 2013 for picking up and shredding documents. I had decided to…read moredrive up recently (within about 7days of the new year) and save some time and money. Here's the thing about old documents,like maybe some of you out there, I still had a lot left going back some 16 to 17 years. Now like a lot of people out there I have a shredder. Let's be honest though,how many of us (10 pages at a time) will actually shred such a big amount in a relatively short time? Raise your hand. (Pause). Yeah me neither. This is where neighborhood parcel comes into the picture. They are quick and efficient. If you take the drive up there my advice is to look for parking space 999( no not even making this up) as that is right in front of the building. They remembered me from a few years ago (hey I had a ton of old papers then). They are friendly as well and weigh each loose bag by the pound. Ironically I filled out and had them mail out the notarized certificate of document destruction. They will also email it to you only if you prefer. I can't tell you how much time they saved me (as I am getting to that stage in life of weighing time vs. money vs. the fact I won't do it all myself in this case). The relief of knowing that these old documents I was never going to look at again were all gone is priceless.
