Went there on May18 at 3:30 p.m. to send a friend a gift. I told the clerk (an older man who looks to be in his early to mid 60s) who waited on me that I wanted to send it via registered mail. He asked me why. I responded that the gift was valuable and I wanted to be able to track it and insure it. He then asked me what the gift was. I told him that it was 2 gift certificates. He then said (and I'm not kidding), "well I could just steal them then couldn't I, and then what would you do?" He then told me that I couldn't send gift certificates by registered mail. I was pretty frustrated at this point, having waited in line for nearly 20 minutes only to be told by a government employee that he might steal my property and that I couldn't do what, according to what I read on the USPS website is perfectly legal. I said "fine, then I'll just use Fed Ex.". He then said "next!" and waved me off.
