This location decided to forward my mail to an unknown address without anyone in my households permission or request. They marked my mail down as delivered today to front porch although is never was delivered(my ring camera is directly in front of my box). Honestly, I don't know how this place is still in business. They don't ever answer the phone every time I go they are extremely slow. Packages are always freaking delayed and they try to charge you for absolutely everything that is over freaking priced. The fact that they are still in business sucks and they should've already been taken over by UPS or FedEx. They open up at nine. The lady Irene or Yvonne was really a displeasure to hlask questions about shipping. I had never had and issue sending out packages before. And Sarah the lady who help me was amazing she is the only reason for the one star. I asked the lady hi I. Just dropping this off. And she started measuring the box and I told her that I already paid for the label and she said well it's not the right label. And rang me out for or tired to ring me out for shipping a package that I already paid for. She explained to me that she already new it was the wrong label and that I didn't have the right one. It was really frustrating because I kept trying to get clarification but she just kept saying when it has to be 12inches and you package is not 12 inches. And I was like well the label I got was for the maximum size with like a 50lb limit but she was still trying to over charge me by about $150. But another lady who was Sarah and she gave a brief understanding of what was going on and looked concerned when the lady who was "helping" me was getting me more frustrated. I opped to have the other kinder lady to help assist me. She explained everything on how and why I got the wrong label I wanted to try and get a better label so that way I do not do anything wrong so I can send the package appropriately. But she was still hesitant to help. But thank God that this USPS is not my local one. I went to my local USPS today and was able to ship the boxes out no problem no need to change the label no need to change box they scanned it and said thank you have a good day just like they did with all my other packages. read more

Update that form that she gave me to fill out wasn't the correct form. I still have not received any mail. I called to talk to supervisor again. She didn't even take my address down the first time I called. She had to call back and get my address and promise she's gonna call back the same day to resolve The issue never heard from her. I do enjoy going to this post office. I usually go to send things out. I think they are relatively quick and efficient here. I've never had an issue. I have never seen it extremely busy, but do be patient if you go. They do their best. I like what I pay to send out ground or even first class. Usually about $12-25. International shipping is where it's over $40+. I had done both. read more

If I order a product on line that uses USPS to deliver it to my home, I have a 50-50 chance of actually recieving it. The USPS located at 8520 Michigan Avenue, Whittier, CA 90605 needs to be shut down and all its' employees fired! In the last several months I have at least 4 packages supposedly delivered to my locked mail box that were not. Several of my neighbors have had the exact same issue multiple times. I will never ever come here for shipping services ever again. I waited in line with my items to get up to the front for the lady to incredibly rudely cut me off and shoo me away to "set up my own boxes then come up to the front once that's complete" so, I grab three individual medium size boxes because they don't offer any actual large sized boxes that can fit three small tiny reusable bags full of clothes I have to try to ship to Idaho. Since they lacked the materials that forced me to have to use one size medium box per reusable bag I had: making me have to set up three individual medium sized boxes. Once I finally finished that, I stand in line once more to finally attempt to get them shipped out. As soon as I get up to the front the next lady helping me is telling me I need to start filling out the fields to send out as she gives me my total. I told her I needed to know how much it was going to be before I sent out because the person I was shipping the items to was paying me and needed to know how much it was going to cost, she's telling me to be writing on the boxes before she can let me know that information. I do as I'm told, I start writing the information on the boxes. She goes, "well this one box is going to cost you $20 to send." I shockingly responded "you're telling me for less than 7 pounds of baby clothes and diapers this is going to cost me over $60?" She said "yes because you have three separate boxes" I said "you don't offer a box big enough to fit anything in one single box, I'm not interested in paying that much per box" she went to go push the problem on ANOTHER worker (now a third lady talking down to me and treating me like I'm stupid) she's telling me "that's fine you don't have to ship but you will have to pay for the boxes you wrote on" HAHA! This lady literally told me in order to get any type of quote on my shipping that I had to write on the boxes...... so you could say this was pretty scam like and shiesty. So even though I didn't end up shipping they still made me pay $16 and change for writing on the boxes they told me I needed to write on before they could tell me how much it would cost to ship........ talk about being sketchy and scam like. I will never ever ever come here again. And I will refer everyone else to go elsewhere as well. The ladies were all incredibly rude and you could tell they hate their jobs. For reference this is a picture of the items I was going to send and was quoted over $60 to do so. MAKE SURE YOU DONT MARK A SINGLE BOX WHEN THEY INSTRUCT YOU TO DO SO BECAUSE THATS THEIR WAY OF MAKING SURE THEY GET SOME MONEY OUT OF YOU REGARDLESS IF YOU USE THEIR SHIPPING SERVICES OR NOT. Wow! Couldn't believe what I heard. The postal person that delivers our mail actually said they will stop delivering our mail because of the flyers that are being sent Two are apartment building. Because people are just leaving the flyers on top of the mailboxes. Why does he care if they're on top of our mailboxes they are our mailboxes. I've dealt with workers being in a bad mood but today was horrible. Had a package with shipping already paid for, there was a big line so normally they have an area where we can just drop off. Today I wasn't too sure of an area so I asked a worker while customer was paying with a card if I can leave a package. She turned and said "do whatever you want". I feel this post office tried hard. I got passport work done here for our daughter and had to pickup packages fron lazy mail carriers who wouldn't drop packages off at our house. I feel all the employees on front desk are very helpful here (but be nice!) much more than the washington office near founders park. The terrible service at the post office continues. Over the recent years they have lost my mail both sending mail and receive information mail. Now a business partner dropped off a samples in my mail box and the carrier took the sample with out look if it was mail or if it had postage. My out going mail is always sticking out of the box with the postage showing. The post office said that if there are any items in the mail box they consider it as out going mail. I asked them if the mail was delivered on Monday and I'm out of town till Wednesday will the carrier consider Mondays mail as out going mail and pick it up on Tuesday? I been waiting on this package for 3 months. And finally it arrive for delivery. Received a message at 8:06 am that it was out for delivery. I literally waited all day by the door and no package it was 8:40pm when I gave up waiting. I received a message saying "Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location" in other words they didn't leave the package, I jumped out of bed to see if the mail man was around and he was across the street I walked politely asked if by any chance I can get the package? He ignored me and kept walking I thought he could hear me so I asked again and he freaked flipped out on me telling me, I don't know what package you need I don't have anything of yours and kept walking. I don't leave reviews but this time, I have to. I always come either for passports and/or mail something and I alwys come across this lady that ALWAYS ruins my mood. No customer service what so ever. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. She's so rude. She's a blonde old lady with a lot of make up. She literally slapped the coins on the counter and didn't even say anything, like "thank you" or "here you go". I literally have to ask "that's it?" so I can know that I'm good to go. Idk her name and idc but I'm sure for anyone who goes to the post office, you'll figure it out. It's that obvious. She needs to get out if she doesn't like her job. It is so frustrating, it's been over a year now, where my i don't receive my mail at all for days even though it'll show out for delivery. I signed up for informed delivery. Also I have had plenty of packages lost within that time frame- I would speak with Maria and she would earnestly try, although many times the packages were unable to be retrieved. Currently I'm dealing with Delfina regarding a package that was scanned as delivered but was not delivered. I asked that she follow up with courier, and let me know either way. She didn't return my call, it happens so frequently that I'm planning of moving out the area, my identity was stolen this year- and I'm sure my missing mail has personal information and I can't help but think there is a connection to this. Also I rechecked the informed delivery and my package was scanned at the post office at 6:40 pm and now states insufficient address when I can read the address my address is completely there :( read more

I've been here 3x for passport and it's horrible. First 2x it was closed even though I came within passport office hours. Today got here 12pm and there was a sign out for lunch open at 1:15pm came back at 1:10 sign was changed to closed for the day. Stayed in line to ask questions. Ppl kept lining up, one employee said yes someone will help us. 20 min later another employee announced that it was closed for the day due to short staffed. Called around came to Santa Fe main post office rushed and employees were all helpful there was a line too but assured we'd be help. Line closed at 2 pm. read more
