When I started the process of looking for a turf company to build an awesome golf course, I had no idea how much it would cost and what it would look like. Now, I would do the same thing and all over again with Turf & Sons. After interviewing and getting bids from 4+ companies, I chose Rhamsses and Turf & Sons largely for the common vision that we shared. He understood that the budget constraints and that I wanted the biggest bang for my buck in creating an eye popping putting green in my front lawn. I was impressed by the personalized service, customization, and design that went behind creating a miniature golf experience. The slope, banks and level of difficulty were all factors he considered before making the finished product. I signed the agreement in the evening and his crew was at work the next day to remove dirt. They finished on time and it was a beauty! We look forward to using them again for future projects. Other companies wanted to make the sale and play the haggle game. At Turf & Sons, I was treated like family and they got it right the first time.

We worked with Sam and the team to install ~400sqft of turf in our yard. We wanted something that would be durable and pet friendly. Sam was extremely helpful in providing samples and quotes for different kinds of turf, and educated us on the proper infills and products to use for our pet-specific needs. The crew installed everything within a day. We love the final result and so does our pup. It's only been a week or so since our install, so time will tell on how the product holds up, but that said, Sam had a great warranty which put our mind at ease in terms of longevity. We highly recommend Turf & Sons for your turf install.

He gave us a great quote and he had such wonderful customer service. His team came out and did a wonderful job from demo to installation. They did cement and turf for a great price. Very happy with our decision to go with Turf and Sons. We had a total of 4 companies give us an estimate on our project, and Sam came in at the best price overall. We considered another company that we used on a previous project first. While their work was also well done, Turf and Sons was exponentially more personable and made us feel valued as his customers, unlike the other company. No sales tactics. No bashing other companies. Just honesty. He truly treats his clients as he would want to be treated, and that shows through his professionalism and kindness. His team on our project was 4 guys who were very respectful and asked us on some details along the way. I was able to work from home and had no issues as they came and went all day long. As for workmanship, his guarantee was immediately effective. He had his guys adjust everything that we requested after installation to ensure that we were completely satisfied with their work. Overall, the value was there and Sam's personal touch made it a no brainer.
Turf & Sons installed quality turf in our back yard and did an excellent job from start to finish. Sam personally showed up one of the days to make sure everything was going smoothly and was always on top of communication. Rhamsses and Sam arrived on time to consult and prepare a proposal. They patiently explained possible options and pitfalls. They helped me select a product that would withstand pets and children and require minimal maintenance. Their written proposal arrived promptly and was reasonable. Their work crew was polite and accommodating and our backyard "grassy" area looks great. I highly recommend Turf & Sons.
We hired the Turf & Sons crew to help with the remodel of our main backyard area and they delivered on our request. We wanted to have a mixed-use yard with an eye-catching design where we could combine a lounging area with a large section of turf to allow us to play simple yard games. We wanted to complement the turf with a surrounding ribbon of Desert Gold decomposed granite to provide a nice contrast. The level of service the Turf & Sons team provided was superb- they'll spend the time to learn about your project and what you want and if you're considering different options, they'll provide you with different estimates. Wanted to upgrade the look of my patio, changing pavers, concrete and dirt into a turf project. Ran the project through bidding on yelp and Turf & Sons won going away both on price and on technical specifications (materials, equipment and process). 1. Sam (co-owner) scheduled a visit to see my yard, and consult with me on options and suggestions on everything from what turf he suggested, to what direction to lay the turf to optimize the viewing angles, to taking questions from me on what kind of base and equipment he would use and the warranty on the work (5 years). Requested a spec sheet of the turfs to pick from and ran the one I liked through AI to see how good it was and it came back better graded than the ones offered by other installers I was talking to. 2. Quoting happened right afterwards and the price came in competitive so I signed. Scheduling of the work was swift and I was able to get on their docket within 1-2 weeks. 3. Day of - guys came on-time and got to work immediately. They demoed it all within a short 30-45 mins. Then waited for the turf to get delivered and spent a good hour treating the turf and preparing it to be laid down. Then the base materials came and crushed it as I had expected with a plate compactor. They got the entire job done in 1 day from about 8am-6pm, and it had been estimated at 2 days Highly recommend Sam and his Turf&Sons crew! read more
