UPDATE BELOW FROM PRIOR POST YESTERDAY!! On 1/17/21 I had a very bad experience with the company's (said) Customer Service Manager Maya and the Tech. They were beyond rude & unprofessional! After I wrote my review I was called back by Maya to tell me to take it down and they will give me what I was originally quoted! I refused!! UPDATE TODAY 1/18/21 I received service from another Technician by the name of Walfred! He was very professional, courteous, customer service driven, went above and beyond to get the job done and was VERY ACCOMMODATING & did an EXCELLENT JOB! I will be referring this tech for any further services. Jill from customer service also called to apologize and get updated on the details of yesterday, she was also professional. We were not going to use this company again, was very hesitant after the severe unprofessionalism, to accept another appointment with a different tech, but I'm glad we gave them another try. Offered me $100 to not give an honest review. I hired USA Clean Master to clean my couch. They said it would look better than new when done. I really just wanted one stain removed. They removed the one stain and created two more. One being fabric bleed from harsh incorrect chemicals. I have to hire a different company to fix it, some companies are saying the damage is beyond repair. read more

The tech was extremely professional and nice. A bit disappointed as they took the carpet out of my house and said it would be back in 4-5 days and I never heard from them - I eventually had to call them myself to ask when it was coming back, so not super impresses at the follow-up. My last problem is that we agreed to a price for cleaning the furniture which I paid promptly as service was complete. When the tech returned to drop off the carpet, the tech sent an invoice through for $60. I told him that was wrong and he said they would send me a new invoice but to pay that amount now (I did). For the last week they've been sending me constant emails and collection calls saying that I owed the full original amount of the furniture cleaning and carpet for $490. I told them that if they could send me a corrected invoice that showed the actual amount still owed instead of the full amount I would pay it immediately. They tell me they can't do that and to "trust us" that they will process the credit card for only the amount owed. They are unable to answer why they can't correct the invoice to show what I've already paid. I am now at the point of blocking all calls from them which are bordering on harassment. read more

For reference this is parent company of Baltimore Carpet and Upholstery which is what I used. Emmanuel was great. Aside from the sound of the cleaning machine you wouldn't know he was there. The carpets look BRAND NEW. He didn't just zip in and out he took the time to make sure they came out right - actually cared about what he was doing. We live in the Homeland neighborhood of Baltimore and used this company (Baltimore Carpet & Upholstery, www.Baltimorecarpetcleaning.com, in reality just USA Clean Master) to clean our West Elm couch, which is less than 1 year old. They quoted less than $100 for a steam clean, showed up and said we needed a $285 shampoo, treated the couch in 20 minutes, and after it dried the dirt discoloration has spread and looks worse. We asked them to come back and try again to finish the job and they refused. Attached are pictures of our couch *after* they cleaned it. We wanted minor discoloration from out dog rubbing against the couch cleaned, and the company basically just used water to spread and expand the staining. They did not clean our couch correctly, and they refused to come back and try to fix it. Please use another company in the Baltimore area. This one is crummy. read more

Beware!!! I will never use USA Clean Master (Green Cleaning System) again. Their contractors are not trust worthy to clean the carpet when you are not present. He asked that I repay before he started the job... in which I paid $314. The contractor immediately ask that I pay an additional $200 to do a deep cleaning in which I refused. The next day when I came to review the carpet cleaning at my rental property. I was highly upset of the cleaning. My neighbor informed me that he was in and out of the house in less than 1 hour to clean the carpet in a 4 bedroom/living room/dining room, family room home?!? The contractor did not show cleaning track marks in any of the rooms!!! There was no evidence that he tried to clean the carpet. When I complained and showed pictures showing no track marks in any of the rooms. They stated that their contractor did a good job. My handyman said "no one cleaned this carpet" and I totally agreed. I will never trust them again...Beware!!! read more

False advertising. Over the phone they told me everything they would do for my carpet cleaning treatment along with a firm price. When they came to clean, they added fees and the price was much higher than what the lady on the phone told me. Lady on the phone told me they would vacuum, pretreat the carpet, then do the cleaning part. They did nothing but do a basic steam cleaning. They wanted to charge me double! read more

Pros: They were able to get us on their schedule very quickly. Cons: Terrible smell; sopping wet carpets afterwards that took upwards of 32 hours to dry; furniture wasn't moved though FAQ's indicates that it would be; tech dumped dirty water on our driveway afterwards and it left carpet fuzz all over the place and froze overnight; stains weren't removed despite "stain treatment"; originally quoted price was not met and I still don't know what caused the $130 increase; when we complained, franchise owner told my husband that the reason our carpets hadn't dried yet was because we had old padding (carpets are 5 years old). read more

The gentleman who came was very kind and polite. He charged us as quoted and the rug looks wonderful! We were pleased that we got an appointment in 2 days from our call. Absolutely terrible experience. $200 for about 20 sq.ft. of carpet. Dude rushed the job and I had to go back over his work because he missed several stains. He was packing up his hose while there was still dirt in my carpet and when I pointed it out to him he said "it's just dark because it's wet" and packed up his hose. That dirt is still in my carpet and I could have done a better job with my Hoover. Additionally, there was an issue with payment that we resolved within ten minutes of him leaving my house. He was a complete asshole about it and still charged my card prematurely, giving me problems with my bank and leaving me without gas money to get home. I called the office and they said there was no record of a payment so as far as I know dude just stole $100 from me. Shitty work, shitty prices, and shitty service. 10/10 would not recommend. read more

I had another company clean my carpets a few weeks ago due to a some pet accidents. After they cleaned it, seemed like the smell was worse than before. I called USA Clean Master and they came out at a convenient time two days later. They did a steam and shampoo. My technician was diligent and understood the problem. The thing is we didn't do any specialized enzyme cleaning or anything and the smell is gone! And it doesn't seem like it's being masked with fragrance. Just gone, as well as some lingering stains. Unfortunately, the did NOTHING for me. I had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, December 15th 4pm - 6pm. They called at the last minute to cancel and reschedule for Thursday. I told them that was to late, so they rescheduled me for Wednesday, December 16th at 8am - 10am. I received another call the same day at night to inform me that they would not be able to get to me during that time frame and rescheduled for Wednesday between 12pm - 2pm. Wednesday came and they called to tell me that they were on their way, then it was a no show due to the weather. Received another call to say, that they needed to reschedule me for Thursday, December 17th between 10am - 12pm and they would deodorize all the rooms for free. No need to say what happened on Thursday, yep another call to reschedule again and they were trying to push us out to Saturday, December 19th, I said "No thank you, I found someone else. Have a nice day." I will never get a chance to compare them to the other carpet cleaning places because they are a no show. read more

They had an online special for $140.00. I called adding a couple of rooms and a hallway. Their quote was around $172.00 and I agreed. When the tech came, He suggested deep cleaning in some areas which were supposed to increase the price like $30.00. When the tech did the invoice, the online special went out of the window and he raised the prices. The ridiculous thing was he told me he was getting in trouble for such low prices and the final invoice was over $250.00. He talked as he was making me a favor while ripping me off. At the end, I didn't protest because I was like 4 days late moving out the house. I just wanted to get over it and turn the house in. The other screw up was that one particular room didn't come out good. After telling me for over one hour the deep cleaning cost was like $35 per room, now he told me the regular price was $89/room but he could do a re-do for just $65. I talked with his manager/office and they told me they will do it for free. When I called them Monday after that, they answered once and pretended it was a bad connection. I called the cleaning tech and the manager various times for various days. I left messages and they never called back. So if their numbers are 301-346-3108 or 301-346-7772, they are not honest or reliable. They apparently have various business names (USA Clean Master.com 1-888-656-1402, Green Cleaning System (646) 415-8826), so I guess they have been screwing people up and changing names for a while.. read more

I had them come to remove a small pet stain from my very expensive chaise lounge. The technician arrived and performed a shampoo cleaning. The next day there were brown watermarks all over the chaise lounge. the fabric was dry clean only and unfortunately we were both unaware of this. I called and talked to Jake B the customer service manager requesting that they send a head technician back to assess the damage and try to remove the stains. They were unable to remove the stains on site but were able to take the cushion in and remove the brown stains. They returned the cushion in good condition and were happy to refund my money for the inconvenience. I believe that this is good customer service. The worst customer service ever. Despite having a subpar cleaning experience with them a couple years at my rental property I decided to give them another go for my personal residence. Scheduling was relatively easy as I called a few days ahead and I receive a two hour window of 12- 2pm for arrival. So to prep for my appointment I moved furniture and make sure I was available during the time of the service. Driver called at 12:50pm telling me he was 35 minutes away. Great THANKS! Driver calls back at 1:30pm telling me his gas card doesn't work, he's out of gas, and he's 40 minutes away but waiting on someone to bring him a gas card and doesn't know what time he would get to me. I said thank you have your manager call me and we hung up. Called the company and they stated they could still come same day. I explained I am not available because I have an appointment with my own client. Then he responds "well what do you want" I respond first, I would like an apology. He replies "I'm sorry but these things happen" I explained that I think it's extremely unprofessional of your technician to not to show up for an appointment and for you not to acknowledge your mistake. He went on to say that everyone runs out of gas and his driver's technician's unprofessionalism is justified because he didn't intentially run out of gas. I kid you NOT! At this point I'm livid. I stated I would not like to schedule another appointment due to their poor customer service. Then I receive a miss call from the company (no message left) then I promptly return the call and was transferred to a woman. First thing, she says "Ma'am would you like to reschedule". Again, I respond I would like an apology because I made arrangements to have my carpet cleaned during this time and you guys didn't show up and your driver is even further away. She goes ok ma'am good bye. REALLY REALLY! At, no point did this company acknowledge their mistakes or try to make me whole. They don't care about customer service or even completing services they offer. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more

UPDATE from my last review: I was contacted by the Customer Service manager, Jake, regarding the poor service I had received. He sincerely apologized for what happened and offered to rectify it. Since I had already had the second house cleaned by someone else, there was no point in getting that cleaning complimentary. So, Jake offered to refund the FULL amount I had paid for the first house cleaning. He followed up with me to let me know when the check was mailed and to make sure I received it. This all you can ask from management in the even you receive poor service. Jake went above and beyond and I appreciate that! read more

The guy that came in my home was completely rude. He knocked out a piece of wood on my stairs and didn't even tell me about it. He demanded my credit card number up front before he would get started. I scheduled the appt. agreeing on the fee of 170.00, after he left I see a charge on my credit card for 170.00. I called to discuss the charge with the manager and of course he wasn't in. USA clean master did a great job with the carpets at my apartment in Washington, DC. I chose the deep clean over the steam clean because the carpets had not been cleaned for two years. Wow, what a difference! USA clean master was punctual and efficient. I wished they would have moved furniture, though; I know some other companies will move furniture pieces and put them up on Styrofoam blocks while the carpet dries. I had to move the furniture myself to have them clean the full surface area. Friendly service and reasonable price. read more

I found USA Clean Master online and I was extremely happy with their service. I was able to get an appointment to fit around my work schedule...they arrived on time, cleaned up all coffee stains from my 10-year old couch, and made sure to clean up after themselves. Now my furniture looks like new! I would recommend them & definitely use this company again read more
