Brought my bike in to see about a 20K service and fork service. Rob, the owner, gave me a tour of his facility, which was pretty impressive. After inspecting my bike, the technician caught a few things needing to be addressed and Rob and his team took care to do things right. He is super busy (says a lot about his shop), but spends the time to answer questions and schedule you in. I'll be back. Recommended! read more

Was just looking for USA's phone number and came across Brian M.'s review. While not a review writer, I feel compelled to offer some observations to offset what seems an unfair trashing offered as a general overview here, I don't ride much, but do have a custom 1990 Springer. Over the years, USA has done some relatively minor work from time to time-and has always stood behind their work conscientiously. Every time I've come in, the shop has been wall-to-wall bikes; four or five being worked on and the rest apparently each waiting its turn. Quality bikes. The shop is immaculate--there is a machine shop apparently able to perform high tolerance machine work based upon the components sitting stripped down or newly assembled on the work table. There came a time when I decided to rebuild my motor and install 1990's Ness chromed creations to complete the 1990 custom look. The long and the short is that Rob's staff went through the bike front to back, installed a new Evo motor from Harley, and Rob machined all the Ness parts to fit, undertook a myriad of custom machining to integrate all the new components into the electrical/mechanical mix and gave me back a bike that was surely as good or better than new and certainly more attractive. The point of this review is for readers to recognize that in a small business where many work long hours to keep up with customer demands, a misstep can occur. Our earlier reviewer here relates one such misstep-a misstep which occurred five years ago. Since that time, USA has grown and moved to larger premises. That doesn't happen if a business is going backwards. Mine is an arms length observation. USA worked on my bike for a few years before I even knew Rob's name. But from what I've experienced, I am certain that whatever the circumstances surrounding Brian M.'s apparent experience, Rob learned from it and made the business changes appropriate long ago. A business cannot expand and thrive with unhappy customers, so it is unreasonable to evaluate this shop's performance based upon the review of a single unhappy customer among hundreds-and perhaps thousands satisfied since-relating to an incident which took place many years ago. read more

I have known Robbie from USA Cycle motorcycle repair for 23 years and have always repaired my OWN bike. My 19 year old grandson just recently passed away and I am 62 years old, so I decided to let Robbie put an exhaust system on my 2001 Springer Custom. I was told it was done and to come get it. I made it 1/8th of a mile down the road and the exhaust FELL OFF! The bike would not shift into high gear due to improper installation. I took it back to the shop and they corrected the problem, turns out all the hardware used to install it was loose! Not to mention I took it to that shop so Robbie could do the work and it turns out that a young apprentice did it unsupervised! Keep in mind this bike had NO problems before I took it to their shop. They never road tested it even though they said they did. The bike has no power anymore and has been back there several times to fix! It over heats even on a short ride. I am now just trying to sell this bike and be done with it. To let an apprentice work on a bike with no supervision is ridiculous! They care about money and take no pride in their work. They would rather trade tattoos for work then do the right job. Do not take your bike to this shop or you will most likely be forced to sell it like I am. -JACKHAMMER read more

I've been going to Robbie since he had his smaller shop. I literally broke down in front of his place, he came out and without even asking he told me the issue. Then he offered to take the bike in and squeeze it into his very tight schedule. I wasn't anticipating the cost but Robbie made sure to do everything within his power to fix my bike affordably. Recently I brought my fathers softail to them because it was running rough. The carb was rebuilt but they addressed an electrical issue I had been chasing but couldn't pin point. Rather than bleed me dry chasing the problem Robbie offered a quick and cost effective solution to my bikes issue. He is truly one of the last proud small business owners that care about the customer. read more
