They do really good on bikes but this one worker was pretty mean and kept questioning my knowledge on bikes and not listening to what I told him. if you can deal with that come here and get your bike fixed, but that same worker might not let you buy the bike you want based on my friends experience here read more

Young guys running shop were friendly and quickly put in a new tube for my flat tire. I asked that they check front derailleur since it didn't always drop into 1st and to oil pedals due to some squeaking I was surprised that they charged me close to $46 for this 10 mins of work and one tube Definitely higher than expected Took bike for test ride and had same problem with 1st gear - took it right back and another young guy checked it out and was very thorough and finally resolved the problem - he also test drove around the store and asked that I test it outside again and if not happy, bring it back in Problem solved 4 stars due to thoroughness of 2nd guy Minus 1 star due to 1st guy not testing his adjustment and the overall high cost read more

Great store. Extremely knowledgeable staff and excellent inventory. They listened carefully to what I wanted to do with the bike and recommended the perfect one for me. They didn't try to upsell me. I got the Trek FX 7.2 and couldn't be happier. It is light, fast and comfortable. Since Trek is a premium brand the bike cost a little more than I anticipated having to pay but the bike is so well built that I got tremendous value for my money. I am sure the shop will be popular with serious riders due to quality bikes and their expert staff but it was the perfect choice for a casual rider that needed some help getting the right bike for my needs. Incompetent! Constant changing of "the story"! Scammers? *I bought a bike from V5 on 7/26 that I was told by Trek was available *Upon ordering the bike from V5, I was told the bike was $50 more than what I was told on the phone by V5 employee a couple hours earlier. Changing the price once someone walks in is such a scam! (Change #1) * I was then told upon ordering the bike that it would take 1 week before it would be at the store for pick up. V5 employee confirmed that Trek had the bike in stock *My husband went to V5 to check on arrival date about a week later and was told by the owner that now it was on backorder and wouldn't be in store until August 15 (Change of story #2) *I called August 14 and the owner told me the order wasn't entered correctly by his employee and the bike was never ordered at all! (Change of story #3) *August 15 I went back to get my refund and they still were incompetent and was refunding me too much money. I am an honest person and told them they gave me over $20 too much. *This time owner changed the story again and blamed it in Trek (Change of story #4) Changing of story, 4 times! Incompetents and unprofessional. Did they purposely not order my bike from the start because I didn't pay the $50 in extra shipping that they tried to tack on? Or did they just hold on to the cash and delay until the next truck load was expected? Why didn't the owner know the order was not entered correctly when my husband checked on it a week later? He looked in the computer and gave another date of August 15. My family and I wasted 3 weeks of our summer not able to ride bikes together and now I have to order the bike elsewhere. read more

Top notch! Great customer service and biking enthusiast that draw other to the sport. Been going to V5 since day 1. Multiple bikes and too many repairs and problems to list, as I'm really hard on my bikes. I've attempted to be my own DIY bike mechanic, and they fix everything I mess up. I've given up on even trying to DIY because I trust everyone there has the knowledge and expertise to keep my bikes on the rode. Reasonable, with convenient hours, I highly recommend V5. And I might add Please support local small businesses like V5! On-line and big box may be a bit cheaper but you don't not make personal connections and build your community like supporting Mom & Pop business! The solace that gives you to be able to talk to a person and have them help you make whatever your problem is, right...is priceless. read more

I have been acquainted with George and Carol for many years, since they worked for Pete's Cycle shop. I've bought several bikes from Carol over the years and can speak to her knowledge and professionalism from first hand experience. Now that George has created V5 Cycles, with Carol as a major member of this new venture, I can't say enough nice things about these guys. In fact, just yesterday, I called them to ask if they would be willing to adjust the front derailleur on my sons ancient Specialized Mountain bike. Even tho I didn't buy this bike from V5, they gladly adjusted the derailleur in a matter of minutes and without charging me. They are a full service bike shop and are hard core riders themselves. The new store is gorgeous, with high ceilings, natural light and open space. The new location has lots of parking and open space to test ride bikes. I will be replacing my son's old bike soon, and it will be with a bike I purchase from V5. read more
