I did not read the other reviews but I don't understand anyone giving Jacob less than 5 stars! I was soooo happy he was able to remove the frozen cartridge in my shower diverter valve. It was not easy as I watched. Not being able to remove it would mean taking out the wall, vanity, and possibly replacing the entire shower unit. I felt badly that he had to return a second day as he did not have the particular item I needed. I was not upset about not being able to use the water since it had been January in the middle of a shower that it wouldn't shut off. I can't begin to tell you how reasonable the price was as I don't want people to take advantage of Jacob. Rest assured, you won't get a nicer more reasonable plumber with the expertise to get the job done. He runs his business and lives his life with God on his side. Also he is a veteran. Please honor his service in the military by hiring him for all your plumbing needs. I will never bother to call anyone else but Jacob. read more

I had a service request made on 6/13 and during the servicing a hole was needed to be cut into my ceiling to fix the issue. The tech that came out was very friendly and knowledgeable. He instructed us that we needed to get back with the company to have them get in contact with our home warranty to fix the hole. The receptionist that answered the phone was rude, unprofessional and not knowledgeable about the procedure that needed to be done with correcting and completing the services. Everytime I would call and speak with her the response would be " we finished our part, there is nothing else for us to do!" Its sad that I was at work and was listening to a coworker complain about the professionalism of the same lady just a few days ago. Phone etiquette needs to be practiced!! read more

AHS contracted them, and it was scheduled for Thursday, 10/23, from 2-6 PM. However, they didn't arrive until 9 PM, and it's hard to trust their claim that they will submit the report. Diego, who I assume is the manager, and Kevin, the person who came to the property and was told he will submit the report. Now, it's already Monday still nothing has been submitted regarding the outcome. Lack of communication and is really unreliable. read more

American Home shield sent US plumbing to put in a new water heater The man they sent seemed knowledgable. Jacob the owner wouldn't do the work unless I signed a waiver that I would pay $500 for expenses that my HS insurance would't pay. No info about what those charges might be. But I didn't have a choice. I tried to call him at least 3 times and always got the message "they couldn't answer right now call back later."Glad I didn't have an emergency! I had to comunnicate with him through AMHS. Finally a guy came and put the new water heater in and did a good job. The same day the owner called and said I owed him $500 Right Now! I told him I was living on social security and didn't have the money right now can I make payments. NO!!! I told him I would figure out a way to pay him maybe with family help. I asked him to send me and itemized bill and he said he would but it's been a month and I'm still waiting. Normally I haven't had to pay for things without a bill. I tried to call with no luck to tell him I was working on getting his money but got no answer as usual. So I tried texting but that didn't work either! So I went to my bank to figure out how to get his $500. I tried to call again to tell him I should have the money in a couple of days but still didn't get an answer. Later that day he texted me and said he was getting a lawyer to sue me and put a lean on my home. It hadn't even been a week yet and again I asked him for an itemized bill which I've never gotten. I gave him his money 2 days later. He scared me with his threats to sue me and take my home!!!! I found that very rude and I still don't know what I paid him for. Will never have anything to do with them again!!!! read more

WOW! So glad to find this company. Situation - glogged drain-every sink, commode, toilet out of service. Called one plumber - too busy. Called next plumber and left message-no call back. Called handyman-showed up right away but couldn't fix it. Next plumber showed up and charged $69 for an estimate that was way too high. Called USA who said they could be here in 1 1/2 hours and quoted an estimate 35% less. Jacob was here in 1 hr 15 minutes. He explained where the clog was, which is not what I was told earlier and what we needed to do to fix it. Less than an hour and it's 100% fixed. Jacob is an excellent representative of this company and it's obvious how much he cares for USA Plumbing. Treats customers with same respect, whether millionaires or paupers. I've called for help multiple times and these guys have been able to fix problems that other plumbers failed at. The quotes and estimates have at times been pretty high but the charges aren't that bad in the end and you are getting what you pay for. They will be thorough or they won't do it at all. Not always what you need but sometimes it is. The main guy we keep getting is very gentlemanly and polite and that helps too. As with all services like this, timing and scheduling can be a bit unpredictable but when they say 24/7 they really mean it. read more

Very responsive when I needed an estimate for installing an additional gas line for a clothes dryer. Came out in the evening after supper to see what was required and he e-mailed a detailed estimate by 1 a.m. the following morning. He offered a solution that was a bit more work than what I felt was required and because there was more effort involved, it had a higher price. I opted to work with another plumbing company, but will keep USA Plumbing in mind because of the owner's hustle and willingness to help me. read more

The owner, Jacob, showed up in Covid mask; which I don't really care about, but I appreciated his respect and conscientiousness. We were switching from a single to a double bathroom vanity and needed water moved from floor to wall and drains moved. Jacob worked around our schedule even though it meant coming out a second day instead of finishing in one day. He ran into a few unforeseen issues on the second day arriving a few hours late because of an emergency at another client's home. Still, Jacob didn't try to reschedule, but stayed on our job until after Midnight to make sure the job was finished and done correctly. He did an excellent job, was respectful to us and our home, and was very clean. Definitely recommended. read more
