When we asked if he could also do maintenance on our washer and what it would cost, he told us that maintenance was not required, and showed us how we could do simple maintenance on our own when needed. This honesty impressed me. Finally, he asked if we had a broom he could use since he "had to go upon our roof to clean the dryer vent anyway, and he noticed we had a lot of pinestraw that had accumulated on our roof". As a 79 year old, getting up on our roof would have been unwise of me. He cleaned it off, without mentioning it again. This unsolicited act of kindness convinced me that we will use Aynek Appliance for any future appliance repairs. Being a good man is its own reward, but it is also good business.

My last set of washer/dryers lasted 28 years thanks to occasional repairs by Ken. He most recently fixed my over-the-range microwave/convection oven and ordered a magnetron after doing a preliminary evaluation. After the part arrived he returned and took it off the wall and removed the full housing cover he was able to test it more thoroughly and replace an inexpensive part. Even though he special ordered the magnetron he did not charge me for it or for his cost to hold it in inventory. Ken is the kind of professional you want in your house. He's pleasant, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and good about keeping his commitments.

I had to ask about the deposit and was told that Jackson never writes it on the invoice, you claim to be the owner shouldn't you know what your deposit policy is?( Scam Alert).
