When we were outside the cities, they were in beautiful settings with expansive views of fjords and/or mountains, and the ones in the cities were centrally located, close to trains and public transportation. The meals were quite delicious. Our tour manager, Yves,was very well-informed, organized, and personable. We saw some breath-taking scenery, as well as quaint little villages and vibrant city streests - in short, everything we were hoping to see on this tour. Dora and Bobby at East-West/Nordic Saga were of great help in setting this up, helping us get plane reservations and hotel reservations for additional nights, and overall, advising us on a tour that would be right for us. They were responsive, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable, helping us compare different options and select what suited us best. We felt that they took a personal interest in our having the kind of travel experience we were looking for. We ended up needing to come back a few days early because of the shut downs. The staff called us (after hours their time) and told us not to worry. They told us to get some sleep and they would let us know what our new itinerary was by morning, our time. Sure enough when we woke up, we had new plane tickets and even seat assignments. When we got to the airport, people were crying and freaking out because they could not get ahold of their airlines to change tickets and get back to America. We got to calmly sit and await our flight. We got home safely and easily and with no additional costs. We actually received refunds for days not spent in Europe. Kim and her staff were amazing and had we not had them, we would have been part of the group who were panicking in the airport. I would never use anyone else.

Our first trip was to Las Vegas in December, and Sofia (the lovely, dedicated owner) managed to find a deal for the W in Vegas (a 5 star hotel) for three nights, a concert ticket, and flights to and back from Seattle for under a thousand dollars. Upon arrival, we were greeted with champagne and free appetizers because this was their opening weekend. Apparently, we had gotten a beautiful (new) suite with all the amenities and two coupons for cocktails as well. Not what we were expecting for $150 a night! It was a phenomenal trip, which could not have been possible without Sofia's help. We checked back later, and found that our room would have normally gone for $300 a night! Our second trip was to Cancun in January, and she managed to score another 5 star hotel (all-inclusive, with drinks) for five nights, flights, and two day tours for under two thousand dollars. We had a private beach, beautiful room, and amazing views--but no outrageous price tag! When you book with Go Travel, you eliminate the stress of traveling and just get to enjoy the experience. We simply told Sofia our budget, goals for the trip, and preferences for flight seating and hotel style. Within an hour we had our tickets booked, itinerary ready, and a list of useful suggestions on where to go/eat during our stay. She even sent us reminders, made sure everything was ready upon arrival, and checked in on us during the trip to make sure we had no concerns. The hotel was acceptable but lacked many basic amenities like drawers, ice, an iron, mini fridge or coffee maker. The location was the best part about it. Close to a large train hub and lots of restaurants. I can't rate the breakfast since it was not included (although we expected it to be). We were repeat customers but will never use this service again as there was no savings (could have just booked the hotel and flights ourselves for about the same cost) and the service was non-existent.

We went to Orcas Island, San Juan/Friday Harbor, and Walla Walla. The B&B at Orcas was exceptional - Otters Pond. The owner, a CIA chef, had the best breakfasts ever and the view from the B&B was spectacular. The B&B at Friday Harbor, Tucker House was perfectly located, and again the breakfast was delivered to our room and delicious. Their COVID protocol was exceptional. Our Walla Walla stay was at The Finch, downtown and walking distancing to all the wine bars and restaurants. Cara set up all the day trips - E Bike, Tesla Wine Taste, and the best one was the Bike and Sunset dinner in San Juan (see photo). We biked to Lime Kiln Point State Park and were served wine and dinner while watching the sun set. It was awesome. Everything was planned in great detail. I loved having the Trip Plans APP set up for everyday activity with locations and phone numbers. Cara was always there, checked up on us a couple of time. WE LOVED IT!
