Let me start by saying that I am a single female and know very little about HVAC systems. My…read morefurnace is about 11 years old and had been working perfectly until we had a few warm days, so I turned it off. When the weather cooled down again, I turned it back on, but although it sounded like it was running, the flame never lit and the zone in my home that included my bedroom never warmed up. I called the company that originally installed my furnace, and when the technician came out to my house, he told me within 10 minutes that I needed a brand-new furnace and air conditioning unit--for around $20,000! I was shocked. After telling a friend about the situation, she recommended that I get a second opinion from Leo at LTD Heating and Cooling in Round Lake. I am SO glad I did. Leo, the owner, arrived on time and thoroughly inspected my furnace. He explained everything clearly and in detail, and you could immediately tell that he genuinely loves what he does. He was surprised that the previous technician hadn't even reconnected my furnace properly, as there were wires left disconnected inside the unit. After spending a couple of hours carefully inspecting every part of the furnace and using professional diagnostic tools (which the previous technician never used), Leo discovered that the issue was simply a condensation backup that was preventing the pilot light from turning on for safety reasons. He cleaned out the drain pipes, removed the water buildup, reassembled everything, and my furnace has been working perfectly ever since! Best of all, Leo honestly told me that I did NOT need a new furnace, and he couldn't understand why the other company was trying to sell me a new air conditioning unit when that system was working just fine too. Leo is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough--and his pricing is excellent as well. I truly cannot say enough good things about Leo and LTD Heating and Cooling. I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. Leo is absolutely my HVAC guy for life, and I highly recommend him!

He was shredding his "right wing" customers, asked me how I voted and never let up. He gloated about how he openly bashed a small, local business in McHenry recently on Facebook because they were "right wing" and hopes they close down for good.
