Today, I was pleasantly surprised to discover what I consider a hidden gem in Laurel -- The UPS Store off Route 198, located near the Navy Federal Credit Union kiosk and Shoppers. I've lived in this community for more than 20 years and somehow never realized it was there. What impressed me first wasn't even how I was treated -- it was watching how the employees treated other customers. I observed one employee patiently helping a customer with copying needs and another with a printing request. She was empathetic, supportive, professional, and knowledgeable, but what stood out most was that she genuinely cared about helping them accomplish what they needed. She wasn't simply completing transactions; she was taking ownership of the customer experience. Then I received that same level of attention myself. She gets it. God will handle them and wrong they do to people. The threatening starts after I nicely asked for a refund: "No way the company can refound you money when you have not cleared your package and if your package spend 24 hours in our office the security team will come to your address and charge you for it."
