We drove ~40 minutes to specially go to this location because they provide the fingerprint service so we planned on it being extremely busy and anticipated a wait, that part alone was fine. To me what was not okay was how under supported and understaffed this location was considering how central and large it is. I understand it can be difficult to find good staff but the 2 ladies running the pandemonium of a Saturday morning rush deserve better. Just during the hour we were there, 2 different times different men started yelling at them while they waited in line. They both said how the women were being rude to them but they were the ones yelling out of turn at the only two women working there. It was disgusting. Their frustration should be with the management for not organizing things better, not the two workers just trying their best to take care of the people right in front of them. Came to get passports done and was rudely talked to by a lady with glasses and dyed blonde hair, I believe her name was Sabrina or something with an S . Literally was unprovoked and she very rude to customers, spoke in a belittling tone, and just made the experience like it was pulling teeth. just go to a different post office for help cause she was none. read more

I've read the complaints and dislikes about this USPS and unfortunately I can relate to some. However, overall they get the job done that I need them to. Whenever I have to go into any government office I prepare myself for anything and it seems like just about anything can happen. The lines are long, unbelievably long at times, it's best to be prepared. Thankfully, there have been a couple of times I was surprised to be standing in a long line and it move quicker than I thought. Also, where's the pens?! I seriously looked for a pen on all the counters and couldn't find one to fill out my package information. Really?? I literally had to walk out of line, to my car to get a pen. Seriously. This place is such a cluster F'...!!!!. The people here are not even trying to get the mail delivered and their parcel pickup/ mail hold department is a mess... THEY NEED TO HAVE A NUMBER MACHINE AND EVERYONE THAT COMES IN CAN TAKE A NUMBER AND BE SERVED... I don't normally write reviews but this is the TRASHIEST post office I've ever been to. The woman behind the counter screamed at me because I forgot to put the return address. I only come here because I have to. The staff is certainly aware of that, and treats their customers as such. They NEVER have enough registers open. The last time I came here, there were as many as fifteen people in line, and only ONE register open. A manager came out and wandered around for a minute, very careful to not make eye-contact with any of the customers, and then faded into the back without opening another register. If they had customer service like this at any place other than the post office, (aside from the DMV) that place would close down in days. Listen USPS, just because people don't have many choices for shipping their items, does not give you a right to treat them like trash. IF you have the option of using a different office or shipping service, then use it. This place is absolutely terrible. read more

I come here when ever I want to deliberately raise my blood pressure and shorten my life expectancy . This place is the definition of stress! Picking up a package shouldn't result in you having to question the meaning of life and what exactly you did to deserve this level punishment to have to deal with the USPS and it's lackadaisical staff members. Sis at the package claim area came to work and just left all motivation at home. They are never organized and can't find anything. Packages which are allegedly being held for pick up at the post office are magically somewhere else when you show up to collect them. The room is crammed with ZERO ventilation and has no order or space to form a line. Is it really that hard to have a number/ticketing system. FFS even the deli and joanns fabric has one, can't the post office get one?!?! The pick up area also has ONE employee working, ONE, UNO, UN, YI! That's one employee to the 20 or 30 plus people stuffed in that tiny room waiting on packages/mail. One employee taking up to 15-20 mins per person to tell them she may or may not even have the package you are looking for. Reserve half a day or more if you need anything from the place, or save yourself the trouble and call out of work. Trust me you'll need enough time. I would write more but even writing this review and thinking about this place makes me stressed. Just throw the entire building away and start again. read more

Only if I could give 0 stars. I arrived at the location like a few minutes before they closed and the steel shutter was almost closed but there was an opening. I take a peek through the opening and proceed to use the kiosk machine to scan one item to drop off and this lunatic lady yells at me and says that they're closed. I proceed to tell her that there is still enough time and this lady continues to scream at the top of her lungs for me to get out and use the other machine, which was out of service. I've seen some other reviews where I believe this lady is referenced as she usually tends to harass and belittle almost everyone she interacts with. This place is great. You can take a letter, or a package full of just about anything non-hazardous, and (for a nominal fee) they will literally ship it anywhere in the world for you...If you're in a big hurry, they will get it there the VERY NEXT DAY (for a substantially larger fee, but them's the breaks). They even have a happy medium where they provide a box which you can stuff until it's nearly bursting, and they'll get it there in about 3 business days - ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL USA. Better yet, you can get your passport while you're there. C'mon people. This is everyday magic. If you don't appreciate it, then you're not paying attention. OKOKOK there are some cons. You're dealing with a government agency, so customer service and efficiency isn't the best it could be. Often times they don't have enough people working for the long long lines. But others you get there and the line moves with the quickness - so it might be a good idea for them to work on consistency. They're often out of supplies like the priority mail boxes and damn it they keep hiding the priority mail tape. The parking lot is this kind of awkward and annoying loop that's about 3/4 of a mile in length. With speed bumps and angle parking. But seriously, it's still amazing that you can mail a letter for under 50 cents and it will be delivered just about anywhere in the contiguous states in like 2-3 days - something we take for granted. I have been living in the same area for 13 years and this is the post office that handles my area. They always have a reason why they can't do their job. The letter carrier doesn't understand the concept of if the address numbers on the piece of mail does not match the numbers on the house it doesn't get dropped off there. I went in to do a vacation hold and was given the form filled it out and told them I will be going back and forth and will pick up my mail every few days. When I picked up my mail they said I have to fill out a general delivery. I did that and guess what my mail was still delivered to the house. Went in again and the "supervisor" had no idea how general delivery works and asked me what what needs to be done. I told him it's his job to know that and it's not the customers job to train him needless to say he was not happy that I explained to him that it is not my place to provide to him job training especially since he is a "supervisor" read more

This is seriously the worst post office of all time. Every time I come here I wait in line for at least 30 minutes. For some reason they only ever have 2 people working the registers. The line for service can be out the door and they would never add another person to ring people up. Management clearly doesn't care. If you can avoid coming here, do so!!! I don't believe in privatization of government services but the Post Office particularly this location makes me rethink that. The service is always so rude and the lines long. I had a package to pick up so they have a small room to wait in line. Room was packed, one employee who had such a nasty disinterested attitude. This places is totally ratchet. I ordered a piece for my computer June of 2017 thru Ebay. They said it was there 2 weeks later but the part did not get to my Box until November 2018. They are constantly sending me Informed Delivery but never in my box until 1 - 2 weeks later. Like people have gas to keep going back and forth. They are so ghetto. I've literally heard them curse people out when I had to mail packages. When I first got the box, my attorney's and doctors were sending me letters. It has been 6 weeks for our Community not to have our mail delivered to us.Donna Petrosky was supposed to help 8 families resolve our issues with the Tamarac postal carrier who broke our Community Box 3x from with in (only with a key). She refused to replace the box.All she did was send us a vendor to repair at our cost! (almost $300.). and the renegade Carrier re-broke it- saying her manager AIDA at TAMARAC P.O. said she didn't need to deliver to this community box! After the 2nd repair the vendor said it had to be the carrier and they wouldn't come back(because of the damage only to the interior, by someone w/ a key.) We have all had to go daily for 6 weeks to the P.O. during Covid. Sometimes we can't get our mail-prescriptions,packages,bills,checks because a Substitute has it. Postal Police have been out, and we finally were promised a new box.The postmaster has been written by all the families and now Congressman Hastings with no response-but the manager +asst manager say Donna located a box and we should speak to her. Her V.M is always filled and she does not return our texts and begging for help. The Consumer affairs has all our reports -which Donna keeps closing without resolution!!! We never hear back from them and the Complaint dept said they have dozens from our neighborhood that have been closed by Donna. I think that is illegal. I hope the postmaster is checking and calling her too and seeing how she does her job,and doesn't clear Voicemail-so no messages can get to her.!! read more
