I have picked up my mail off the ground a couple of times even after leaving several notes for them to PLEASE close it. Yesterday, it was pouring rain and my box was open getting drenched with rain. Luckily I had no mail! I am going to call the post office this morning and see if I can't get some results since asking the carrier personally. I hate to call and complain but carrier has left me no choice.

Either I'm known and disliked because of my posts on Facebook, or I"m disliked because I've had to complain to them about their service, and because I'm a Black person. A number of things has happened: I've requested a number of times for them to please put my medicines that comes into the office into the locked boxed for larger mail, so that I can pick up meds when the office is closed. Instead, they insist on putting a card into my box that says I've got mail too large for my mail box. I had certified tax-due mail come into my P.O. BOX, from the State of Louisiana. I attempted to pick it up. The Postal worker said she could not find the mail. After I told her that I would simply call the state and tell them that the post office told me they could not find my certified letter, she suddenly put her hand on the mail and gave it to me. Now today my checks from my bank, addressed to my P.O BOX, arrives at my home address that we retrieved from the mail box just before dark. These are just a few awful things I've encountered. But, today was the last draw.

I've had mail shown delivered at my mailbox nowhere to be found. Today, I went up to the post office and attempted to speak with the postmaster. I was again missing mail, two packages. After being told she wouldn't see me , I told them I'm not leaving until I speak with her. The postmaster, Daphne Moore, came out from the back of the office, my packages already in her hands, which showed delivered to my address in their system from yesterday. She immediately met me with an attitude and refused to address my concerns. Offered no help, no apology, or anything. Just a simple search of her name on FB shows that I'm not the only person that has had issues with this postmaster. I'm not the only one on my street that has been having issues with mail delivery either. Several times we have gone days without anyone on my street receiving mail. I've already filed complaints regarding the postmaster's behavior and the carrier's inability to deliver mail. I'm sure it's to no avail. Another governmental employee that collects a salary with no accountability. There are good people up at the post office. This isn't directed at you, but after interacting with this woman, I'm sure she isn't much of a supervisor either.

The Post Office lady who was waiting on customers, called a new gentleman from the back, and then took care of me. She was pleasant, happy and very helpful. I could not have gotten better service.
