Sorry, had technical difficulties with my initial review…read more My daughter is a student at W&M and we found we had an urgent need to store her possessions over the summer. I talked to Gina at AAAA and she made me feel comfortable with the idea of storage. I am a novice at this, so I really needed someone to help guide me. I cannot say enough about Gina. She always was available to offer her assistance, whether in person or over the phone. She's one of those rare employees who actually addresses your questions and helps find solutions. Move in was a breeze and I'm delighted to report that we recently emptied the storage unit and daughter is back in school. We will need to rent a storage unit again in 2020, and we will definitely use the services of AAAA again. I can echo RJ's remarks below that this is a very clean facility. My daughter and I wrapped and boxed everything carefully and can report that everything was immaculate when we cleaned out our unit. I don't think a single critter or any type has been anywhere near her belongings. But again, it's the personal service I received from Gina that gives me confidence in this location. Hats off to you, Gina. We'll be back in 2020!

This is the 3rd and final summer of storing our W&M student's belonging at AAAA. (She graduates…read morenext year.). The experience each time has been perfect, and amazingly a little better each year. (1) The facility is impeccably clean -- cleaner than the dorm room that the items are coming from. (2) The location is convenient and easily accessible. (3) Gina is friendly and extremely smart and capable. I wish I were an entrepreneur -- I would hire Gina out from under AAAA. There are little details that come with renting a storage unit that most people don't realize. You are entering into a contract that may involve future payments -- this may require a credit report and hence giving an SSN. You will need to provide contact information for someone residing outside your home in case you become unreachable. There are requirements for locks, and there are insurance considerations. Just listen to Gina and do as she says. There is no upselling, there are no hidden fees. Our middle child is not going to W&M, so we won't be storing items in Williamsburg next summer...but there's still hope for our youngest in 2022.

I cannot recommend this company enough! They were hands down the best moving company I've ever…read moredealt with. From the representative that called to schedule to Bryan and Will who were our movers. They were the fastest to respond to our moving request. They had no problems with switching our moving date because our closing date on our home changed. When I called with follow up questions, Carly was extremely reassuring and gave me peace of mind that they would be able to handle our move! Bryan and Will showed up and were ready to work. They asked follow up questions to make sure they understood our needs, and did everything neatly and in a timely manner. They were polite and understanding. I will absolutely use them for my future moving needs!!

This is a long overdue review. We've moved a lot - even across the country, but this was one of the…read moreworst moves even though it was local. This was a big move with valuable furniture and art. The loading went OK since we had already packed everything except for the furniture and art. All the boxes we packed were labeled by room and contents. The damage was discovered after the move. If the Forman chosen for the job is not good your move will be expensive, difficult and there will be damage. The guys they sent worked hard but not smart because the Forman was inexperienced. He did not focus on priorities that would make the move smoother, He was in CYA mode the entire time. He pointed out minor flaws in a few pieces of furniture that we already knew about and acknowledged. The irony of all this CYA is that these movers or rather their forman deliberately hid damage that they caused. * They damaged the wall in the stairwell of the destination we moved into by gouging the drywall and chipping the paint. And said nothing. * They chipped the glass of an expensive dining room table top. And said nothing. * They spilled Gatorade on the carpet in one of the bedrooms, covered it up with boxes. And said Nothing. * At the destination they dropped boxes that were clearly marked by room just about anywhere and everywhere. We found boxes marked "Kitchen pots and Pans" in the garage. * They left Art sitting in the hot sun * We had specifically asked that the beds be unloaded and set up in the bedrooms as one of the first things upon arriving at the destination, to determine what other furniture would fit. This was repeatedly ignored. Instead they dragged their feet but kept asking where certain pieces of furniture were to go. The move ended up being much more expensive by 30%. Take this is a caution. Maybe if you're a student and you have inexpensive stuff - things like this will not bother you. But if you have things you care about. Maybe you can hire a company that can do better. Working with them was frustrating and in the end very expensive.

worst truck rental for a budget truck i have ever been to, counter guy wont let you take the truck…read moreyou requested a month in advance with your own insurance, and wants to make you buy his insurance in the computer saying you need a cdl license to drive the 16ft truck or you will get impounded and lose your truck if getting pulled over because my insurance does not cover the cost of damage on the liability side saying progressive is not good enough. told me if i dont rent with the insurance he wont let me take the truck. the truck was disgusting as soon as we walked outside to it, it was dirty and filthy in the front cab steering wheel the floor the windshiled it was covered in sticky dirty residue all over, and the bed of the truck rental was filthy inside the back there was old wood cut broken like off a pallet style, tons of screws and nails, dirty mud chunks and it looks like it has never been cleaned since the truck was purchased i have phots and videos of the truck. the guy at the counter told me the 800 line is not accurate to use my own insurance to rent the truck, he said theyre prob in some other country and dont know what they are talking about i said i can call them infront of him and he would not listen or try to even do anything but cancel the order on me right there. but when i returned the truck to a diff drop off location the guys at the counter said i can rent the biggest truck on the lot no cdl license needed and my insurance would cover me and give me no issues...... this place is a joke at this location, guy is very demanding and tries to force his insurance on at the time of pickup. go elsewhere this place is no good. i contacted the budget 800 and reported the incident i ran into never again here at this location out of all my rentals i never had such a bad experience
