Too bad there is no "zero" stars . The waiting time is ridiculous. The employees are not yo blame , they are willing to help, but , there are a few taking care if customers. Today , the libe for passport was long, one person processing applications . The line for shipping/picking up was more than 15 people , only one employee helping, only one !!!!. I spent 35 minutea and had to leave because it was not moving . A customer with more than 100 letters took all the time I was there . Nobody, nobody came to help and the line was getting longer and longer . I am wasting my time complaining, usps could not care less . Service is horrible and the "lost" packages keep increasing. Coming to the post office is a bore. But this office is always busy but so reliable and gives correct info. It's also one of the locations that stays open till 7pm and that's always helpful when your running late to send anything. I suggest to come prepared. Have a pen and all the info you need ready so you can walk in and get everything you need with out any frustration. They have the envelopes and boxes for most packages and tape onsite to do it yourself. I also suggest to check out the occasion cards. I've actually bought some pretty good and funny birthday cards here. Cash or card is also accepted here so no worries. They also do passports here with no appointment needed. read more

The building is deteriorated but, the service was very good. They have passport services in a different line therefore, you don't have to wait that long. I went to pick up a package, and we made a different line as well and I didn't have to wait eitheŕ. read more

One of the worst USPS you can ever visit. Stay away from this place. Place looks like a ghost town and real bad energy. There is no one to help. And the one person that showed up I felt like she was a little angry and bitter. She did not seem very unhappy. Maybe this clerk is over worked, I don't know. I'm hoping their higher ranked officer see this posting with the mgr name in the image. Sadly, Ive reduced my visits to the USPS for this same reason so if I visit once a years it's too much. I've even stopped buying stamps because the wait is 20-45 min long the service it's self is poor. Honestly it's often depressing to visit. No one ever smiles. It feels like a true Goverment office with the lack of positive customer service ambience. When you read reviews of how rude this post office has been, it's all sadly true. The good news, something recently changed and it's about time. I've been visiting this post office for years. I cannot even begin to tell you how many incidents of "rudeness" have happened to me. If there was a trophy for it, they would have won it year after year. I cannot pinpoint exactly when the change occurred, but there are a lot of new faces. Everyone with the exception of one person appears to be "newer" at this location. Almost every person that has recently helped me is professional and nice. As you walk up, they greet you. They apologize if it's apparent that the wait has been too long. A huge treat since technically, you are dealing with government. Pure guess but I believe there must have been a change with management in addition to employees. I'm so grateful for it because this is my go to post office when I need to mail something late in the day. They have convenient hours and are open to 7pm on weekdays, 2pm on Saturday. This post office is full service and process passport applications. They also sell gift cards, greeting cards and is fully stocked with packaging supplies that are both free (priority mail) and for sale. In summary, this post office has plenty of parking and the hours are great. Improved customer service is a win since we all need the post office from time to time. read more

multiple people including myself came in and could hear workers in the back but the door was locked. not a single worker came out to help.

I am very happy with the service at this post office, I went last Saturday and I only was there for a question. It was a question about renewing a passport since someone told me that they have the renewal program there. I was in line and I ask one of the ladies work in here how can I do this process of renewing a passport. She nicely told me in front of everyone how to get the paper and to fill it out to complete this process. The parking lot it's ample and with many places to park. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves which is geat during this situation. read more

The front desk staff and the manager suck. They all have to get replaced. My family and I were trying to renew our passport and the front desk staff are extremely rude/useless, bunch of old grouchy human beings. The manager is even more useless, only thing that comes out there mouth is "go leave a complaint in the store's review". Compared to Post Offices in general, the 104 St location is actually fine. I've never had an employee be rude to me, and in fact some have gone out of their way to try to be helpful. During non-peak hours, there isn't even a line at the service counter, and I've never had to wait in the line more than 5 or so minutes. Today, for example, there was a man outside of the counter trying to answer any quick questions people had and helping them out at the self-help kiosk. Then, the woman behind the counter offered to go to the back to look for a certain type of stamp that wasn't out front because it was the one we wanted. Some drawbacks are that around Christmas, the package drops weren't being emptied and were too full to even open. Also, while they are open late and the lobby is open 24 hours (til about 7pm I think?), the service desk doesn't open in the morning until 9am. read more

My mail carrier is from this post office and everyday I receive mail for my neighbors, which are other businesses. I am missing many checks from customers and my neighbor just brought me checks that they received in their mailbox that are supposed to be for my business. This happened after I called my client regarding their late payment, which makes me look bad. I have tried to call the post office to complain, but no one answers. I am currently sitting on hold on the 1800 line for over 30 to try to speak with someone about my issues. I have reported mis-delivered mail repeatedly for the many years that I have been at this business address. read more

The most rude and mean staff I have ever experienced. I have never been treated so badly at a business. I went with my baby for a passport took the day off work and had that appointment for 2 months. Was told the person did not show to work that day and to return the next week. Sha' Ron is the most rude person I have ever encountered. I left almost in tears of how bad she treated me and my baby son. I had all of my documents ready and an appointment made, she cleared out a line of 20 people (that kept growing) before assisting me with my child's passport. If you need to post important thing, or plan to get a passport, do not rely on rude and unresponsive staff of this office. I fell in trouble finding my formal documents after posting them, returned to office to ask politely. Officer was answering my question like she is looking down to her child. Lost packages and poor customer service. They do their shopping from stealing your orders.

Staff is really rude and they are not willing to help clients at all. They really do not care about you or your package. I have been waiting in line for two hours, two days ( Saturday and Monday) and still do not have my package. The only answer is to come back on the following day to see if the other carrier knows where they put it and they can not call the supervisor because is not on clock neither the carrier who is supposed to know where my package is. This is a decent enough Post Office. There are two self service machines in the main part of the office and one in the outer area where all of the PO boxes are located. At night the inner part is locked but you still have access to the outer area, which means, in theory, one should be able to use the outside machine to send packages after their business hours but this is oftentimes not the case. My work schedule has always made later drop off times more convenient and the fact that the machine with 24/7 access rarely works prevents me from giving more stars. Have seen long lines at times but that is to be expected. To end on a positive note, service representatives here are friendlier than many I have encountered at other post offices. Consistently working self service kiosks would allow me to give 4 stars. read more

Being brutally honest, I have experienced theft from this post office. I have experienced rudeness. They are so slow and act like they don't even care that they are at their place of employment. There have been a couple of times when they have been pleasant. They will never answer their phone. Don't try. Never in my life have I ever encountered such lack of professionalism and punctuality. After losing my overnight mail I was assured by a claims advisor that Id be receiving a phone call to update me on the whereabouts of my mail at 7 am. Three hours later, no phone call and no one's answering the call. This is an executive branch of the government people! Us as tax paying citizens have a right to know what's going on. Not only have they inconvenienced me, but the mail had a check to pay the rent for my family and I to live. Obviously the severity of the situation is invalid to them. I paid bills and put my outgoing mail in my mailbox on Thursday.. I believed I may have missed the mailman and it would be picked up on Friday. Friday came and went and it was not picked up and no deliveries either, Saturday has come and still no pickup or delivery. Sunday there will be no pickup or delivery. They tagged my door saying it was "unsafe" to leave my package, when the day before UPS was able to go the extra step to hide my package in my front patio.. but that's not even the big deal... the tag they left didn't provide my tracking number or where to pick up my package. I waited 2 days to see if they will try to redeliver it but they didn't... I try calling the 1-800 number to see if there was a way they can tell me where my package was at. No way to talk to a human with out having a tracking number... I had to go to the nearest post office from my house, waited a line for 10 min for them just to ask me for my zip code and told me it wasn't there. I asked the lady at the counter if she could track my package she said no. I told how horrible was their service she told me to go complain to the US postal office that delivered it. For being the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE it sucks. Stick with UPS or Fedex a lot more professional with your packages. read more

I've lived in this post office's delivery area for 35 years. Our letter carrier, Jorge is wonderful. But we can always tell when he's on vacation or taken a sick day because the mail gets screwed up, misdelivered, lost, or no delivery at all! Going to the post office in person is a true challenge to ones patience. The counter workers work at a snail's pace and the average wait in line is 45-60 minutes....no joke! I wrote the Postmaster General in DC, and received a call from the branch supervisor about 4 weeks later. I got this job story that he had a 50% turnover rate and he can't keep good people. I almost believed him until I looked up and discovered that the beginning salary for a postal clerk is over $26/hour! That almost twice what a beginning teacher makes in Dade County Schools! I urge people to write the Postmaster General and complain....bombard them with letters. It's disgusting to see the postal rates go up almost every quarter. read more

Bad customer service but even worse management! Always have issues at this specific post office but never at the others. Have held off on writing a review but today was the last straw. Needed to check on the status of a package and I was told to stand in a line and wait for a manager. The lady never took the time to even look at what I was trying to show her. Worst experience. No professionalism when you call to inquire. I called to inquire about a letter with a tracking number because when you look it up online it only tells you that the letter was not able to be delivered and it would be held at the post office for 15 days. After holding for 40 min., the lady that answered had an attitude and said "it doesn't say that", I said "yes it does and you didn't ask me for a tracking number, do you want the tracking number because I need to track where the envelope is" she hung up on me! Some of the staff here are slower than molasses! Especially Mary (an older African American lady)! I want to run away if she's working, and I'm pretty sure her coworkers feel the same way too. This lady is the epitome of lazy. I've never seen her take care of two customers back to back! No..between customers, she shuffles papers, plays with her computer, or simply walks away to hide out in the back. Her coworkers serve 3-4 customers to her 1! Does the supervisor not see this? She needs to retire already. Having said that, the other ladies are efficient and polite. The problem is they that are typically short staffed. I think privatization would be a good thing for USPS. This is the WORST post office ever!! They don't follow instructions for holding you mail. They either deliver it in spite of hold order or dump it all on your front door when you instructed you will come in to pick it up. They put packages that have SIGNATURE REQUIRED before receipt of package in your mailbox and do not not get a signature. Their carriers deliver my mail to my neighbors and vise versa. The only reason I did not give this 1 star is because I've been here a couple of times but only this once have I had a real problem. As I am waiting in line I see Mr.Frank done with his customer i approach his station with no tensions of being in a rush I said hello I'll wait till your done take your time. He looks at me and says I'm not finished I need you to go back in Line and wait till I say next. Which is funny cause out of the whole 15 people that I was behind waiting for. I've probably heard next no more then 3 times. So if this is a rule for waiting on a next call make sure everyone follows this rule.
