Corey is the man. Wanted to help a family member with a last-minute errand. And found myself at this United States Postal Service branch office. Now sure, there was a line because it was Saturday and it was almost 2 PM in the afternoon. But that didn't stop Corey from delivering excellent customer service and treating everyone before me I can All-Star instead of simply herding people through like cattle. His personal ability and demeanor went very far because the last thing you want to feel the sense of rush when mailing things to either their loved ones are for business purposes I was walk-through through the various options and presented different choices, which ultimately led me saving money, which I did not expect I had a great time here and multiple members of my family. I wanna write a special shout out to a great employee at the Ludland post office. His name is Sam. My package had been returned for insufficient address and the post office was closed. I was unable to call the local office or even get someone on the 800 number. I waited 30 minutes and no one ever answered. I took a chance and showed up. Sam looked like he was leaving and on his way home. I explained to him my situation and that my package was gonna be returned to the sender because of insufficient address, no apartment number. I told him it was for a gift for this weekend. He took the time to go inside and find the package for me before it was returned. I want to thank him wholeheartedly. We need more people like you, Sam! This place is AWFUL. Starting and ending with the employees here, VERY RUDE. I have been here several times and I end up leaving every single time due to the lack of humanity in this place. EXTREMELY RUDE WORKER WITH A SEVERE ATTITUDE PROBLEM! I was returning two items to a store via one box. These two items had two separate QR codes that needed to be scanned in order to register that they were being shipped. I let the postal worker know, and she refused to ship my item. Even though both items were going to the same place, she refused to scan them both (I had confirmation from the store that I could ship both in one box). She informed me she would not put both labels on the box so I asked if she could put one in the box and she rolled her eyes and canceled my order. This is another review solely for an employee shoutout! I came in with an issue with a local Dropbox in the area and needed help figuring out why my packages hadn't been scanned into the system. The manager, Vincent, was very kind and looked into the tracking numbers I provided and explained to me how the Dropbox' on the street work. Although, I have used them many times, I know there was something wrong on the USPS' end. After talking to him, I learned he's a veteran and retired from the Army. I can't help smiling as I read the reviews for this USPS. Sadly it is nobody's secret that the USPS is bankrupt and that it can't turn a profit. Yet you wonder what the heck is going on. There are always lines at the Post Office, there is always mail and packages being delivered, and people just need stamps to send documents. Who can save the Post Office? That said, and apart from the long lines, everything else seems to work fine. I use the drop-off boxes whenever I have to, or the mail boxes on the drive-thru. If I need stamps, I use the automated teller. I won't say this is "my post office" since I plan my trips and stop by whichever Post Office is near me, but I think this Post Office is one of those places where time stood still, and it is just refusing to move on. read more

Just left this place, I received correspondence in my PO box that didn't belong to me. I approached a lady (don't know if that's the right term) called Peaches. She yelled at me to back up, when I just had a question pertaining to the mail I had. I told her I just had a question and I'll wait for her to finish stamping those boxes, she yelled again to back up. The post office was empty and she was stamping boxes that were laying around, if she had any education whatsoever she would know how to multi task. Stamping boxes shouldn't be so complex! Another mediocre usps location! Went to drop off some packages early in the day, there was a very long line and only one clerk working. With everything happening with Covid, it was too many people in one room. Dropped them off at the counter since they were prepaid and their parcel drop off box was closed off. They never got scanned and it's already been two days. Call them to see what's going on and they don't pick up. Went in to figure out what's happening and the guy in the counter has such an attitude and said he doesn't scan the packages when he does that. He basically outted himself for being lazy and cutting corners. This is not the first time this has happened. This location sucks but if you have to use it make sure to get your parcels scanned with a receipt. These people are lazy and rude. read more

This is the worst Post Office in Miami. The worst! Every single time I come here, there is a long, horrible line. But one of those long lines that NEVER moves. It is so incredibly slow. They usually have only 1-2 people working at the front, which is way too few people for the amount of people waiting in line. Also, the employees are extremely rude and unprofessional. Every time I come here, they are fighting (literally, vocally harassing each other and saying horrible things out LOUD to each other) in front of everyone! It has happened several times when I have come here. When this happens, everyone in line just looks at each other like, wow, this is horrible. I just can't believe the lack of professionalism at this location. In addition, if you drop off your letter/package in the blue boxes on the outside, don't expect them to be mailed out quickly. I often wait days and days until the package is scanned if I leave it out there. One time, my package was not picked up or scanned for 8 days. I kindly asked the manager what the reason was for this and she so rudely responded that I will have to just wait until it scans and that's that. Unbelievable. The people working here are friendly, one of the postal workers (I forgot his name) is usually singing or humming a little tune, lightens the heavy air inside Bc everyone waiting in line usually looks miserable...it's like they made a decision to go into this branch on the days they wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Sometimes you wonder why your favorite neighborhood business fails. There is a wide variety of things from poor management to poor service can be highly contributing factors to such a failure. Unfortunately, even though the United States Postal Service is a privatized and backed by the United States government, hence unless the federal government fails, the postal service is immune to failure. That is where the unfortunate problem begins... a top level problem. Because postal workers are comfortable in their jobs, they are not in a rush to be efficient. No matter which post office you go to, you will have a similar experience... slow and friendly attendants will happily help you. Yes - I should have read these reviews before coming in here. Wowwww - or better yet - guuuaauuuu. There were only 3 ppl ahead of me - and it took over 20 minutes. You're small, antiquated and you really need one of those little machines where you can get stamps. I should have gone to Office Depot. The parking was fine - but I didn't see any drive up mail boxes. I had to get OUT of my car AGAIN to go mail my envelopes. Never been able to get out of here in under 40 minutes. Priority mailing materials are inaccessible and the lines are always super long. Parking is a severe hassle. I wind up going to either the PO near South Miami metrorail or the one in the grove if I need to go inside, although the drop boxes for this place are very accessible via drive through. read more

You might as well not come to this postal service at all because they are the worst location ever. They suck at being helpful and they're rude as hell especially the manager. I've come here 100's of times with my package unprepared where they've given me tape to close it/taped it closed themselves. However today they decided it was tape charging day. The manager came up to me in the line to see what I needed and stated that I needed to purchase tape if I wanted to mail my package.... Something that I've NEVER had to do here because they always provide for the customers. So I said no. What does the manager do? He walks up to his workers behind the counter and tries to mutter quietly, "Make sure to charge her for the tape." Why would you have to remind them to charge me if this is something that every customer should have to do when they arrive with an untaped package?! If you're coming in here I would hope to the mail God's that the emploubhere are in a good mood. If you catch them on a bad day they will try and make yours just as miserable as theirs Make sure you come with EVERYTHING prepped beforehand if you don't want to risk them being rude as heck to youb. If they feel like being nice they'll help out but hope to not catch them in a bad mood because they will do absolutely nothing for you. I wait 30 minutes after they're supposed to open, once they open 30 minutes later while I'm in line a worker comes out whistling like he's walking at the park relaxing. Takes a sip of water, and a deep breath to really let us know (all 15 people who waited 30 minutes) that he is no rush. So one customer behind me says "thank God" because now there is another worker, he says "we don't need those comments the door is right there leave" and i said "we aren't going to leave after sitting here for 30 minutes waiting" and then he turns to me and says the same exact thing telling me to leave, after i ignore him and get helped. The lady tells me she can't ship my box because the shipping or return address is not on the box. I get it if you guys don't do that. But i walked in to ups and they had my box out in 30 seconds. I don't have the highest expectations for customer service at a post office, but even with the bar set pretty low, this office continually manages to disappoint. The only thing I can think of is that everybody that works here is so miserable they feel that they need to take it out on every customer to make their work bearable. Either that or they are sadists. If you can avoid going to this branch, try. If you must, because it is your home post office, be prepared: come with materials (even ones you'd think the post office would provide - like labels and U.S. Post Office envelopes), but also bring your own pen, tape, the full address (including four digit zip code). Then, hopefully, they will only be rude to you, but will not publicly berate you in front of the very long and ever present line. Good luck - forewarned is forearmed! read more
