I don't know why this location has such a low rating. This is my favorite post office. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. They are efficient and make sure the line keeps moving without being rude. There's also a self serving machine that you can use after-hours. The only thing that I am disappointed in is that the first collection time used to be earlier (as in the morning) whereas now they are both in the afternoon. read more

Came in on a Saturday around 3 PM to send a certified letter. The office was empty. I had the green certified forms filled out, and the clerk told me I had to attach everything to the envelope myself--something I've never been asked to do before. I asked her to guide me because I didn't want to place it incorrectly. She had an earbud in, was talking to the other employee, and had a rude attitude. While I was trying to follow her directions, she said "Oh God, help me" out loud, then said "I can't do this", stood up, and walked away, leaving me at the counter. The second employee finished processing it and gave me my receipt, but didn't respond when I said thank you ( multiple times) This level of unprofessionalism should have consequences. You don't get to refuse service, walk away mid-transaction, and treat customers like an inconvenience. read more

Just plain rude for no reason. Argued with me that the return I had was UPS without even checking the label/QR code I had. Finally they scanned the QR code and I was correct. The return was for USPS. read more

Beware...this PO is a scam! After waiting in line for 15 minutes was told at the counter they won't scan packages with prepaid labels. They tell you to use the kiosk, and anyone that ships often knows the kiosk doesn't give you an acceptance scan. They have packages accumulating on the counter that people just leave there. Completely unacceptable! read more

Extremely nasty, hostile postal worker named Arenee. She rudely refused to give me a receipt for my packages. It started when she rudely and in an unacceptable manner told me to tape my prepaid return labels myself on my package. I had tape in my pocket and so I taped them to both packages. She looked at them and said this was not done to her liking. She refused to take the packages or to give me a receipt. I stayed completely calm thorough out this. Before I walked away since she refused service to me, I took two photos of her and the packages as proof. Unbelievable how postal workers like this ARENEE seem to have no accountability to their customers. read more

Worst post office I've ever been to. Came with a pre-paid shipping label but had to buy the bubble envelope here. I do that normally all the time. But the lady here told me I would have to buy tape. When I told her that they normally always tape the label for me, she rudely walked away from me. I ended up just buying the envelope and not tape. After my purchase that same lady started screaming around the store why she would give out take for free and the other employees started laughing all making a scene in front of the other costumers. Depending on the time you go, you can be in and out very quickly! I went before 4 pm today (Wednesday) and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I had to mail a box and 3 cards. It was super quick and the lady behind the counter was nice. read more

Came to this branch on Saturday, and after waiting in line with only 2 clerks working, I was told by the male clerk I had to stick-on the green return cards and #labels my self because that was not their responsibility. In my 50 years of sending registered/return receipt mailings, I've never been asked to do this. I requested the supervisor and she informed me that I was required to do this as well. This is a first, no wonder this government service is managed so poorly, and should be closed permanently and privatized...how service will dramatically change for the better! read more

Brought a heavy box in...mentioned it was hwavy and zero offer by the guy to help. Just a look of being inconvienenced by my even being there. So he watches a 70+ yr old struggle to get this box on the counter. It had a large unassembled cat tower in it, for context in weight. More So I wait patiently in line to ask which form to use After waiting the USPS employee who had been turned around diligently staring at the wall behind the counter for several minutes turns around and says "next in line" I walk up and as I approach the counter the woman, as I reach the counter, decided this is an opportune moment to bring the cart of package into the back , after having begun motionless for a couple minutes. That's called a "F You" in any language . I ask for the correct form finally, she moved her tight arm six inches but before giving me the form informs me that they available outside, yesh, the international express correct form. I should know which is the correct form. So I leave the counter, fill out ridiculous forms since I don't have mictographia. Snd go back and wait again. One employee is again diligently staring at the wall behind her and one (Cornelius, the legendary Cornelius) has his head - forehead- down on his desktop, face aimed at the floor! Are you alright man? Having stroke? But apparently he had been saying -to the floor- "next in line" because he lifts his head up /no stroke I guess just exhausted at 1 pm- and says " I said next in kind" yeah I'm a little hard of hearing but I can hear a "F you" perfectly Now to why I went to the trouble of updating the previous review. I was telling this story to a pal in South Miami and he asked which branch . I told the head on desk part and without my mentioning a name my pal said" "Cornelius!!" He's legendary . He also named the manager - whose primary job is apparently inspecting the wall behind her while customers wait It's embarrassing that this is called the US Post Office. The behavior here is an insult to the entire US and yo the thousands of hardworking USPS employees. US Postal Inspectors where are you? read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. 2 women at 10:30 AM- meaning they have been working 1 hour and have the worst attitudes I've ever seen during the Holiday season. One was complaining on how she was "about to not come in" because she was "tired". These women probably get paid better than me at my job and I have never acted like that, not even on a bad day. They weren't helpful, they weren't nice, not once did they smile. People were happily dropping off packages and envelopes for the holidays. HORRIBLE ATTITUDES. Why do we hire people like this? The service here was terrible, I walked in 3 minutes before close on a Saturday & Cornelius wasn't having it. Instantly greeting me with a "we're closed", I responded with there is 3 minutes. Cornelius then responds "yes but we put the gates down at 6 so we're closed",(with an attitude) I tried keeping my cool and responded with "can I be the last person you take in there Is 3 minutes left" he then responds again "we're closed". Terrible customer service, we all have bad days but this is no way to treat a customer, you can clearly tell he hates his job, no one is forcing you to work there Mr.Cornelius if you have a problem with what you do for a living then leave. Would give 0 stars if possible. Employees do not do their jobs here, just sit behind the counter with attitude. Needed to ship some packages today, when I asked for assistance the employee directed me to the self service machine. I had 3 heavy packages - and noticeably 8 months pregnant. Employee said she couldn't help me but shockingly enough said the self service machine could. If this is the case, why does this employee have a job? The Suniland branch has a truly great team that is friendly, courteous and expeditious, and they do everything that you would expect from a postal clerk team plus more! All of my postal needs have always been handled very satisfactorily and I hope that they will be around for a very long time. Furthermore, at this branch, I have always been able to obtain whatever postal supplies that I need, and these clerks always seem to ask me if I need stamps...I love how I am reminded. read more

Time and time again I come into this usps store and have to deal with extremely rude employees. I do not know how they continue to be employed when every single review is negative towards said employees. I walked up to the counter to ask a simple question and the man was blasting a video on his phone, he briefly made eye contact, rolled his eyes and continued to watch his video on company time. This is one of many times I have had to experience such utter bull**** from these people. USPS needs to do a reevaluation on these horrible employees. Very rude! I had to return a Christmas tree with a pre paid shipping label for USPS from QVC, I had first taken it to UPS since that's what QVC told me I could do, but they said no the label will only work for USPS so I took it this USPS location, when we start walking up to the counter with the package the "ladies" that "work" there were saying "no no no that's too big it has to go to UPS and I showed them the label that said USPS and told them I just came from there and they told me to come here, then the manager Al Hernandez, who was standing there came and said no we don't take it it's too big of a package, I showed him the label and he snatched it from my hands and ripped it in half saying there are two labels one for UPS and one for USPS but the one for UPS was a copy of the label to me! I asked him for his name and I called customer service complaints and made a complaint he was rude and ripped my label I hope he loses his job and the rest of the people that work there. They need to change that location, after reading all these reviews I can see it's not only me who has complained about them. read more

I really don't like to post negative reviews but I can honestly say that my experience in this post office was VERY unpleasant. The post office workers are rude and VERY impatient... unwilling to help with a caring and willing attitude. You actually feel the negative energy from the employees. The day I went the manager working behind the counter and he expressed he was the manager, he was extremely rude to a customer in front of the other customers... I felt terrible to see that! I truly feel that if you are not happy with your job then you should leave and find one that you like. The purpose of being behind a counter is to help the customers and assist with a pleasant attitude. Unfortunately you won't find that in this post office. Made me go out of my way to "a Home Depot" according to one of the employees, BUT IT WAS REALLY OFFICE DEPOT, so on top of giving the wrong location they make you print out your own printing label.
