I love the post office in Miamisburg! I have always had great experiences there. I have been struggling for a few months with a situation. I finally call the post office in Miamisburg and spoke to a lady by the name of Sonia (found out later she is lead clerk) and she is absolutely amazing! She was polite, understanding, and went above and beyond! It is a great feeling to know there are still people like her out there! I give her 10 stars! It felt like I was running a dead end at every turn, but the entire time she stayed positive and encouraged me to stay positive too. In the end she managed to do what was needed and was amazing the entire time. 1 hour and 20 minutes later I was heading home smiling! read more

Very clean. Not cluttered and people are friendly. Also have a self service kiosk that is easy to use.

Just a quick stop here to pick up some postal supplies so that I could package up my item. They have the usual priority and express mail packaging available. I am a small local business and this post office has been superior to any other post office I have used. The friendliness, the thoroughness and above and beyond care to help assist in reaching my goals are wonderful. The employees are always considerate and friendly. Always helpful and been are so kind. I used to believe that the Miamisburg post office was very good (9-10 years ago) but they are really bad now, Their Amazon deliveries/or pack ages are brought to front area of homes, no one rings the doorbell now when there is a package or they try to shove it in the mailbox. I know things are different now but they should do the best they can with what is available to them. I paid extra to have a package delivered on a certain day, don't bother it wont get there on the day promised! Oh and by the way I got my mail delivered at 7:50pm tonight! read more

My package was mysteriously missing but they quickly found it. Can be a long wait in line but overall, great customer service.

Apparently, training is not provided when getting a job at this post office. Firstly, no one knows how to knock on a door anymore. I was supposed to have a package delivered today and it never showed. I go to the tracking and it said carrier attempted delivery and that the package was to be held at customer request. Really? I was home and no one knocked on my door. Seems like a last POS to me. the manager is going to catch hell for this. Then again, this is nothing new for this post office. Can't trust the carriers to deliver a package properly. read more

This review is not targeted at the Heincke post office necessarily, but at the entire USPS in general, they're just the closest, as for me, it has cost me so much financially as well as mentally from stress. Over the last 15 years of using them they have cost me around 1,000 dollars in lost or damaged packages both as the shipper and as the receiver. Here in the last month or so, Ive tried to change my address and haven't received any mail in over a month, which included my mom's social security checks that I'm the payee for. So I have been paying her rent and most of her utilities myself. Now I'm dead broke and had to take a loan from my retirement, which, GET THIS, that check didn't come to me either. I changed my address in the store, which just gets lost in the mail, because they won't do it there, and tried 7 times inline which costs $1 each time, never returned. I'm done for, can't pay my rent or my gas, I have kids, thanks USPS! read more

Jamie (front counter, older, glasses, blonde hair) is so rude every time i come in. She gets frustrated if you want to return a package and you don't come prepared with your own tape, box or anything necessary to ship something back. That's WHY I'm at the post office lady..because i don't run one out of my house. She asked if i had a marker, as if sharpies are a common purse staple. She does not give you your options when you arrive, she just points at the boxes and the $3.50 tape dispenser. With popularity in the internet ordering industry, most of us would like to send back a package for less than the items it contains.. But, she has no interest in guiding you through that process..just simply says it'll be $50 to ship it out.. (which is ludicrous for a non-refundable return and we all want to avoid, right?) When i asked if they have smaller boxes or what else i could do, she says i need to find my own package or buy one of theirs for 18 dollars but that by the time i would do that and buy tape and send it out, it would cost me just as much as the $50 priority package. That's no help to me because i know better than there to be only one alternative option or for her to run me all over town finding my own supplies. THIS is WHY I'm at the post office!.. What if i don't ship priority? Can i put it in a shipping bag rather than box? What are my cheapest options, basically? People don't want to get ripped off. The general public appreciates anyone who can save them a little time or cash and does NOT appreciate being treated as if they should know all facts and preparedness rather than help those who don't. I'm there to count on someone's assistance and I'm a very easy customer to work with.. Until you've encouraged me to write a 1-star review and start using the Centerville location on Paragon.
