I had a package to ship today and I wanted it to go out postal service. Cheap and cheerful, I had the bubblewrap I bought at the Dollar Store, the priority mail envelope I picked up the other day and an address sticker that I got this morning. Easy. We live in Stone Lake off Marshall Road. In the last week our mail has been left not at our address, but next door. Then our neighbor has to bring ours to us. Not only wrong house delivery, but neglect picking up mail we place in mailbox with the red flag up. There must be a new carrier on our route because these mistakes are happening frequently now. read more

Feb 19th 130pm.....the tall skinny black woman who waited on me said the PO was out of #10 stamped envelopes...she did not even go look for them.. she did not even try. I have bought them here before and they always have to leave the counter and go get them. She refused to even go look....all I can say if a PO is out of envelopes that is a very very sorry state of the PO...also, she was not very nice and did not off to say when they would get any in ....she is terrible at this very simple job....selling stamps and envelopes...anyone could do this job. it just take taking care of the customer. one day......I hope we never have to use a PO again! read more

Once Gloria retired, this PO went to hell in a hand basket! Never enough window staffing and closing down before scheduled closing. This took place on Feb 9th in the afternoon. The window clerks are great, but having one window open with 15 people in line is unacceptable! read more

This post office has a theft problem. Three packages I dropped off in their drop box on two separate occasions never started tracking. When I inquired to the cashier at their front desk, all she did was look up the tracking numbers in their system and confirm they never started tracking. She said there wasn't anything further they could do. So someone at their facility stole these three packages. Additionally, I ordered two separate packages of Ground Advantage boxes which were tracking fine and even showed "out for delivery" the last week of September, but one of them inexplicably didn't show up then the tracking updated as "in transit to next facility" for 2.5 weeks. Never showed up. So this delivery of boxes was also apparently stolen from the same facility. No one there is able or willing to try to help locate these missing/stolen items. HORRIBLE. read more

This office took over our mail delivery about 6 months ago. Since this time we've had nothing but problems receiving packages. They are often delivered to another home about a mile away with the same street number. I ordered from an online retailer last week. I tracked my package and it stated it was delivered at a certain time to my mailbox. Never received it. They did a gps review and it pinged at my neighbors mailbox right next to mine and they never received it. They have offered no solution to my loss of money on the merchandise in the package. read more

The second star is charitable...I moved WITHIN the 45458 ( both previous and current addresses!!!!) on January 25. Today is April 5 @4:22AM and I'm going into the post office at 8:00 to see if they've had any success in FINDING my latest missing mail. I came in person and filled out a change of address form as soon as I had a moving date (2+ weeks before the move). Still having access to the"old" address, I checked Jan. 27 &28 and mail had been delivered so I went to the P.O. to see why. It was explained to me that it would take 3or4 weeks for the forwarding to begin. (This from the first of 6 clerks that have "helped" me during the last 2 months). He filled out a yellow " mail hold" form and put a big C O A on top ( change of address) so that I could drop in and pick up my mail weekly until the forwarding began After the fourth week , each week that I picked up my mail, a different clerk would assure me that they had solved the problem. On the seventh week no mail could be found... but it was not in MY box read more

I tried to ship a package 7 Sep 2021around 1:45 pm, but due to computer problems, they could not accept credit cards. I had the gentleman (young man) give me a cost, since I only had $27 cash on me. It came up to $37 and change. I had to drive to my bank and pick up enough money to cover shipping. I returned less than a half hour, with the SAME BOX, going to the SAME location, with nothing added or removed. A different clerk waited on me, and this time it rang up $24.30! How is that possible? I asked the first clerk why his rang up $10 higher, he said that's what it rang up as. A few cents, maybe. BUT $10 ???? Something does not make sense with these erroneous charges!!! Yes, it's a post office. Yes, they all are structured to do the same basic thing. But how they provide those services is important. Honestly I don't have to go to the post office often but I have been impressed each time that I have used this branch. Counter folks have always been helpful and friendly. This is my least-favourite USPS! I've been here a number of times, the wait is always long, and 99.9% of the time the workers are not pleasant, or are moving in slow-motion. I've only been here 1x in the 3 years of living in Centerville where the associate was pleasant and moved at a decent rate. I was, quite, frankly, shocked. If you're in a hurry, or even just want a nice USPS person, I'd skip this location and head to Bellbrook or one of the other local USPS'. read more

This is my local post office and I try to avoid going in at all costs. Mainly because the line is usually horribly slow. I won't blame the workers completely because I have heard some conversations and people are generally combative and down right rude to them. But then...they are as well. Sometimes you get a friendly worker but most of the time they barely acknowledge you and seem beyond annoyed if you ask questions. Let me explain...what stamps do you have? They point to the magnetic board which is often not updated or current. If you ask about a particular book, they sometimes will answer or other times say, no we don't have. Okay, so that's not always the case. There is one woman who always says we do have it and let me go get because those just came out. I like stamps... can you tell? I like to get them when they have new series and if you order online you have to wait for days and then they charge for delivery. Not always a problem but sometimes you just want a certain stamp. Anyhow...I have heard people argue over the price, over picking up mail, etc. I don't mail packages out unless overseas as I use a mail system so I can package it at home, attach prepaid postage and drop off in their Dropbox. If I do mail overseas, I grab my customs form beforehand and try to be as prepared as I can. My biggest complaint is the mail carrier marks my packages as delivered and they aren't. Grrr. If you call the office to ask they rarely answer the phone. If they do, they are not helpful. This seems to be the usual for PO systems these days. I'm currently trying to figure out where a package is that's been missing for three weeks. It will get there when it does was their email response. Nice. read more

One cashier gave me 2 prices, first class and the lesser priced. Was a nickle difference. I addressed my package. Next teller, a letter carrier o viously not knowing what he is doing, charged me almost $2 more. He made no effort to fix his error or make it right. Such a douchebag. read more

Delivery was scheduled for today 16May19. I did not receive my parcel. I used the tracking number to enter into 1-800-ASK-USPS. The response I got was that my package arrived at the 45459 post office on 3:34pm on 14May19. The 45459 post office is co-located with the destination post office 45458. Lori is the manager. I called Lori and asked where my package is. She replied (repeatedly) that she had no system generated scan of my package arriving at the 45459 post office. How can this be??? How can ASK-USPS know that the package is at 45459, and arrived at 3:34pm on 14May, and Lori can't find any record of it? This same sort of event has happened so often that I cannot count them all. I truly believe this is the most poorly run post office in Ohio. Please look into this. Please audit this post office, or get someone in there to clean house and get the post office running correctly. read more

Stopped to pick up our held mail on the way home from a short trip. Hubby went in almost 40 minutes ago, just came out.

This post office was always a pain to use. When Centerville had its own post office I would never use this location. I thought that adding Centerville workload to this location overworked the staff. Since leaving Centerville and moving to Eastern Kentucky I know this is not true. All the local USPS locations , Frenchburh, Wellington, Ezil, West Liberty, provide better service then Washington TWSP. This is just a bad staff and a bad location. read more

This is busy post office, and with a skeleton staff. And yes there is cue many times after 5 pm. for stamps and packages. However I've always been treated with courtesy, patience and a smile, and my questions answered to my satisfaction. 'Gloria' is a rock star and she keeps things moving. read more

I did the online vacation stop my mail for 7 days. I also chose on the form for me to pick up my held mail and DO NOT DELIVER. When I went to pick up my mail (before checking my home mailbox) I walked into 1 window open and at least 20 people in line. Luckily a side window opened and the worker yelled out, " anyone picking up held mail"? I raised my hand and was quickly helped. The clerk came back with 2 pieces of junk mail. I was shocked and expessed my concerned. She said go home and check you mailbox. She was right, they delivered all my mail in the previous day or 2. This was not my request. Why is this service offered if they pay no attention to what the customer requested. Not happy about this. read more
