THE absolute WORST postal service! Our deliverer makes so many mistakes that our neighborhood's social media page is full of people trying to find their mismanaged mail and packages. I get mail and packages from people not even on my street. It is a weekly happening for me, and I know it happens to the entire neighborhood. When the carrier does manage to find my house, she leaves the packages out in plain view for porch pirates. If for some reason she decides to leave them at the mailbox, half of the time they're put in the wrong box, she forgets to leave the key, or leaves the WRONG KEY in the box, then we're left at the mercy of people in the neighborhood to do the right thing, and sometimes they do NOT. It's horrible! BTW, have you ever tried to call the Porter PO? Good luck! They NEVER answer. It rings and rings and then hangs up. Try to file a complaint? Good luck with that too! The website is so user UNFRIENDLY. I have tried using 4 different browsers to file a complaint, but the website freezes every time. If I could give -100 stars, I would. read more

I have been very happy with the service and support I have gotten at the Porter Texas post office over the 2 years I have lived in Kingwood/Porter area. The Post office associates I have worked with at the service desk are friendly and helpful. When I have done mail holds, they have been carried out very well. We are very happy with the mail carrier for our neighborhood, she is fantastic. This post office is one of the best local offices I have ever had. read more

This post office is awful. Our mail lady refuses to do pick up requests. She's left my packages on my porch for days and even weeks. I can home from Christmas break to find a package still on my porch. She submits confirmation of packages she doesn't pick up. I have received repeated pickup confirmation emails for packages that were still on my porch. When you call for help they have their phones turned off. read more

Very impressed by the clean and organised interior for being an old government property! Parking lot could use a fresh coat of lines. Thankfully I was helped by Jason, who was very nice and informational! Those are the reasons why I gave this more than a 1 star review. If I was helped by the woman with red braids - I didn't get her name, but she was very curt and had a dour/rude attitude with every customer she helped and fellow employees. If there is an available PIP for her customer service - she should not be in the front helping customers. All in all, not a terrible experience. read more

I have been in there along with my sister many, many times over the years and never once had anybody not willing to help me. They are kind, helpful and the line moves quickly. I live in Kingwood and stopped going to that post office because of how slow it was. I honestly believe when you are kind and polite 99.9% of people in the service industry are kind back. Speaking only on this location and some staff members, it's definitely not my go to post office and I would advise people to use the New Caney location. I was waiting on a package that via tracking "was delivered to parcel locker" and yet there was nothing for me, no key to a locker or a card to "pick up package" at the office. When I called the first time, I was greeted with a kind gentleman who said he would look into this and get back with me. He didn't so I called and got his "manager" who was kind at first and said he would pass on a message that I called. No one called back. So, on to call #3 and this "manager" copped a quick attitude with me because I mentioned previous call with him and he did not do as he had said. I was told that the original person I spoke with was in lunch and if I wanted to I could hold on line until he got back! What kind of customer service is that? I needed that call and waited until almost closing time and called back, call #4, finally got the nice guy. He apologized and advised me to file a claim through the website because after all of his searching and reaching out to the delivery person, he could not find my package. That was a big flop because what I wasn't explained was that if I didn't purchase insurance on my order then I didn't "qualify" for any type of refund or assistance. I ordered clothes from a vendor and not too sure of any clothing stores offering insurance on purchases. If you must deal with a post office, drive a few more miles to New Caney, where it's a completely different atmosphere and the manager there actually likes people and helping them. read more

This place absolutely sucks. The front desk customer service lady is the rudest and most unhelpful woman you will ever encounter. I had to pay $40 for a mail key upon move in (which is a little pricey but whatever). Fast forward THREE MONTHS still do not have access to my mail. When I asked what the hold up was or if there was anything I could do to get my mail key she said "it'll happen when it happens" and all but shooed me away. I just left this place and the "supervisor" , she is the most rudest person I've encountered at first sight . Everyone else there is so sweet and I've never had problems before until her . They have been delivering to the wrong address for 20 yrs now. They need to LOOK AT THE STREET NAME, NOT JUST THE ADDRESS!! We have the same address on 4 different streets!!! Review update: I now live elsewhere and when I came to get my mail out, the lady working was extremely short and clearly didn't feel like doing her job that day! My father had a PO box here and when he passed away I went up here with a death certificate and my HUD 1 to change it to my name, without issue. When I went to get my mail now a 4 year later date, the lady told me that I'm not the name on the account and kept interrupting me and didn't even offer to let me speak to someone who could resolve the issue considering I paid YEARSago to have it changed and if she's saying it was never done one would think she'd have the courtesy to do her job and fix the problem or at least find someone to resolve it! read more

Being located in the subdivision that this postal office delivers to is uncertain, inconvenient, and discouraging. Before moving here, I have not had a problem with delivering or receiving mail in Harris County for nearly 20 years, but since moving to Montgomery county that feeds to this post office located at Panthers Way I have not received a check in the mail and a card that I sent to to be delivered right there in Humble has not been delivered. It is very discouraging and unacceptable that we cannot depend on a postal service to deliver mail to the proper place and receive mail. There is a different mail carrier on the route almost everyday which poses a problem and also unauthorized (non-Usps trucks) vehicles that help to deliver mail. This postal office is so disorganized! I hope they get it together so that residents can have peace of mind to know that they can depend on a government entity to handle important mail. read more

This is one of 3 post offices that I usually frequent. The Partners Way location is by far the most convenient. It is located right off FM 1314 at the Partners Way light a little west of US-59. This means you can get in and out fast, but beware that after a rain Partners Way has a deep puddle at the 1314 corner. The post office has a drive through to drop for letters and is usually reasonably staffed. The folks inside are generally friendly and offer solid advice and guidance. read more

I cannot stand the attitude that the mail carrier for the Timberland subdivision has. She is so disrespectful! I order packages constantly for my home business and today it said my package was delivered to my parcel locker, which after checking it was not. So I stopped to talk to her and before I could say a word she said "no, no, no, no!" I then replied excuse me? She said "what do you want?" I asked her where my package was because it says delivered. She said "well did you check you box?" I said yes. She then said "well there should've been a key" I said well there wasn't. She asked me for my address and I responded. Then she tells me well I don't know what to tell you, your gonna have to go to the office. Mind you it's almost 30 minutes before they close. I was so frustrated I know she made a mistake and she couldn't even double check. So now someone is going to get my package and knowing this neighborhood they'll probably keep it! These people can't get it right! I swear if something isn't done tomorrow I will report her to corporate and make sure something from a higher level is done. This constantly happens packages are being delivered to wrong addresses. I've even received other people's packages for which I've hard to track them down to make sure they got what they ordered. Corporate needs to come and do a clean sweep of these people so they can get their crap together! I can't believe this is happening before Christmas! What a nightmare!! I sent an overnight letter to be delivered by 3:30 pm the next day. My post mistress checked to see if the Porter Post Office could receive and deliver overnight mail. Yup, they could but that's where it ended. The Porter Post Office not only didn't deliver it but wanted to return the letter to me as undeliverable. My wonderful Buda, PO called and talked to the Post Master of Porter. He said the letter was still there but would not identify what the problem was. The letter was clearly deliverable. I asked Porter to hold the letter and my daughter in law would come get it. When she did, they wanted the tracking number! WHAT?? Of course she didn't have it, so she went home. She had to make a return trip to the Porter Post Office only to be treated abominably. Like it was her fault. Awful, horrible, rude and incompetent. This post office is HORRIBLE! Our mail carrier on lakeside dr is HORRIBLE! He often does not take our mail, 5+ times we have had packages with tracking numbers that say out for delivery and our mail person just doesn't deliver them. When he gets back to the post office he will scan them delivered or he'll say something was blocking his way to delivery. We live on a very small street, NO ONE EVER PARKS ON OUR STREET. NO ONE! We have three, THREE, driveways so there is obviously a place to pull in he just doesn't. We have informed delivery so I see what's supposed to be delivered everyday, we rarely get all our mail. I have complained probably 4 or 5 times but he still does what he wants. Once when I called to complain I was told sometimes the mail carriers didn't have all the mail in one place in their truck so they may have to come more than once when they find more in the back of their truck but he doesn't do that, he doesn't come back. We have lived in Porter for 36 years.. had some problem with delivery since we moved into this new neighborhood but mail our outgoing mail in the mail boxes in front of Porter Post office.YOU would think it would be the SAFEST place right.. WELL.. we have found out the hard way. We had all our last mailing.. BILLs stolen! Someone took those bills and went to our bank and made a withdrawal from our checking account. How can someone steal mail from the mailbox right in front of the post office?? You can never get anyone to even answer your phone calls. What do you do.. where do you mail your bills so they are safe? I only gave them one star because they sell stamps.. I have called, I have gone in and put it in writing, I have begged and I have pleaded with these people to stop throwing my packages over my fence where I have 3 large dogs who destroy the packages. I even have a sign on my fence....they STILL do it. They refuse to pay a claim even though they knowingly threw packages over a fence with dogs, And of course the companies are not responsible because they did not throw the packages over the fence. I have lost many items and am out a lot of money over this yet they continue to do it. They tell me it is their policy to not throw packages in a yard with dogs, but here I am, living proof. They do it all the time! One time resulted in one of my dogs nearly during and me having $800 in vet bills because they threw medication over the fence. I am to the point now that I think the only way to stop this is to hire an attorney and in my opinion it should not come to that. They need to follow their policy. I have even told them I don't mind coming to pick up my packages, just PLEASE don't throw them over the fence!! This has been ongoing for over 2 years. This Post Office is so dirty and in desperate need of an update, but hey, as far as I can tell, the roof doesn't leak! Still open on Saturdays, but there's always a long line, but it moves relatively quickly. Even with the line out the door, I've made it in and out in 20 minutes. I've had a good experience with the staff here, and they all seem really friendly and local, but their postal delivery employees are horrid. I've had nothing but problems with mail delivery, and they do make an effort to look into the issue, but I really had to stay on them. I like having access to their on-site number because I could speak with my actual mail carrier, and they also helped me locate a missing package, calling my cell phone when it was located. So, despite the horror-story setting, I give it thumbs up because they care. Everything that I've mailed from here gets shipped pretty quickly. Much faster than the Kingwood USPS, but maybe not as quickly as the USPS on FM 1960 near the airport between Humble & Spring. (PS: If you need a rush on that delivery, that USPS on 1960 is open 7 days a week and they have evening hours... But be prepared to wait up to an hour...) read more
