I mailed documents on Saturday 6/11/2022 to ship to Idaho to my daughter. This was a guarantee money back if not arrive on time. Today is 6/14/2022 and it did not arrive. My daughter went on the tracking system and it showed that it was still in transit and the last time it was scanned it was at the post office, the distribution place, which is the post office I mailed the document from. 3101 West Sunflower Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92799-0100. The tracking information did not give any other information, except it could not locate where about the package was located. I believe it was still at the post office. I went into the post office for more inquiry. The service was appalling and to say the least the sheer lack of customer service from reps that were completely inept and down right rude. Your rep just laughed at me as I tried to explain to her. She would over talk to me and not listen at all. She worked today 6/14/2022 during 12:00PM. I want you to know the time and date because this rep embarrassed me in front of the other customers. I asked her to get me the supervisor but she did not. She said he was in a meeting. That seemed convenient. I told her the tracking information shows that it was last scanned at the distribution so I asked her see if they can find it. I thought if it shows the distribution center, that there might be a chance it might still be there. She did not help with this request. I asked for my refund because it is obviously it was late because it was for a 2day delivery. It is clearly marked on the receipt too. My daughter called the number for claims, the rep said that I could get my money back today. The rep, the post office lady I had to deal with said that I would have to wait until they scan the package at my daughters end. I asked well how long will that be and once again not answering my question but laugh. Overall, this post office that I have been using, I have yet to meet a friendly, courteous rep. Extremely livid as I'm writing this review. What a shame and disappointment this place has turned into. This was my favorite post office but I will NO LONGER be returning and I am going to file a complaint. I've shipped hundreds of items from this post office and with that being said, majority of the time I always pay more to ensure nothing gets sent back and they made a lot of money off my shipments, mostly from being overpaid and under weighed items. This time, it happened to be my wedding invitations. I went to the Santa Ana office on Grand and shipped out two hundreds invitations with no problem. Went to this location and shipped out the remaining twenty invitations and every single invitation got sent back requiring an additional .21 cents for no reason!!! My invitations is NOT over two oz as I weighed it before sending it out and it weighed at 1.2 oz, complete BS! How is that I paid for 2 oz and for "wedding stamp" to ensure it's safely mailed out for them to send it back requiring more??? After going to multiple post offices today to try and mail my wedding invites and being told by two that they wouldn't hand cancel my invites and they had a wax seal so they couldn't go through the machine I went to this one and the guy who helped me was so friendly, I had to get additional postage but they had an amazing selection so that they didn't ruin my invites with less appealing stamps and he told me he'd hand cancel them for me and get them mailed out! Another guy ended up helping me too when I brought them back up cause the first guy was busy and he was just as friendly and so helpful. Other than the parking being congested on the daily, this place isn't so bad. It's located very close to work so that's a plus for me. I also HATE hate hate shipping stuff.... don't ask me why but it's the biggest pain in the world to mail things. Maybe I have a phobia, who knows. My times here have always been nice and pleasant. Sometimes it gets crowded and there are lines but the postal people are never angry grumpy or mean. Everyone is always smiley and kind and most helpful. Extremely helpful actually. I was in line today and the lady came by to each person to make sure we had what we needed. I like how this post office closes at 7pm, a little later than most other post offices, so I don't have to rush here after work to send out a package. I've never had to wait TOO long here, unlike some other places I've been to. This post office is fully staffed and usually most windows are open so the line moves relatively fast. As far as I know, this location has the latest collection times (7:00pm) and latest window times (7:00pm) of any post office in Orange County. Five stars for the post office?! Yes, it's true. I normally avoid the post office because the service is rude and lines are too long however I needed to send out a package immediately and my usual mom and pop shop option was too far and closed. Alas, I decided to succumb to the post office and luckily I found a great one near work. Plus it's open late. I was surprised to see that it was practically empty. There were no lines and service was extremely friendly. An assistant on the floor helped me choose a box, get it taped up, and also take it to the clerk so that I could pay for it and get it sent off. Voila. All done in about 10 minutes. I couldn't be happier and will consider this location the next time I need to send a package, mail a letter, etc. read more

Holidays or not, the post office is always busy. Really appreciate this one stays open til 7:00 pm on the weekdays and opens from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm Saturdays. This post office is particularly hectic since it's located on the corner of Sunflower Ave and Susan St. Traffic is horrendous at the intersection during rush hour particularly since Susan St turns into a single lane and the small parking lot can only accommodate so many cars at a time. People, head on down past the drive-thru drop off mailboxes and there are additional parking right behind the postal office. Yes, it means you have to walk on the sidewalk a bit to get to the front, but it certainly beats stalling and blocking the road at least. If you can't be bothered to wait in line for an associate to assist you, then feel free to use one of the two self-service kiosks. Forever stamps are 49 cents a piece (Wonder if there'll be another price hike next year). Global forever stamps are at $1.15 a piece. Here's hoping my holiday cards have already arrived or will arrive soon. read more

I use this post office often and I've never had anything but wonderful service. I don't expect lighting fast service with the amount of people there usually is, but this is definitely the quickest post office I've been to. They are also very helpful if you'd like to use the self service kiosk (I was avoiding it for fear of messing up but they guided me through it). I remember when this place had a 9p last mail pickup, and then they went to 8p, and CURRENTLY IT'S 7:00 p.m. Use the outside drive-through drop-off blue mailboxes to get the 7p pickup time. I am very disappointed with the lack of concern and Customer Service exhibited here. I had a break-in where someone stole my keys including the one to my PO Box which I've had for years. I asked if I could get the locks exchanged and they want a total of about $28. I am not sure why they're penalizing me for my having bad experience of having a break-in. One time, several years ago, I was a few days late paying the rent on the box and they swapped out my lock with one that I could not access until I paid it. Once I paid the bill, they swapped the locks again with my old one. If they're willing to do that without charging me why did they penalize me when I'm the victim of a break-in? Also, my other option is I could change post office boxes without any penalty which effectively would get me a new lock and new keys. It seems like, as in many government run institutions, the people there have no incentive to keep customers happy; essentially having a monopoly on the market. I tried to reason with them as normal human beings but they seem like they are taught to have no compassion. read more
