She complimented us for being prepared with the paperwork: having documents and their copies ready. However, we forgot our checkbook and realized it after travelling half way to here from the Bay Area, but she hooked us up with a money order with a minimal fee (make sure you have a debit card or cash on hand). Apparently, it's the 21st century but the US Department of State still does not accept any form of electronic payment while the US Postal Service does. Need to have your photo taken for the passport? Done: $15 for 2. Need to entertain your little ones while getting paperwork done? They can peruse through a pirate treasure chest provided by Sharwna to find their loot. Attentive and friendly service with a smile? Yes and yes! You'll be walking out of there with a smile on your face, at least we were, after having such a pleasant experience.
