First time going. It is great Mau was so sweet and she did my sns so good it looks natural. Great ambiance and amazing pedicure.

My experience here was completely horrible. I arrived at 12:30 and didn't leave until 3:30. I came in for a soak off and a full acrylic set. Vicky did not soak off all of my gel before applying the tips for my full set. I asked for a pink acrylic with a little shimmer in it, however... I got something with shells in it, and was very lumpy. I paid $47 for uneven, lumpy, mediocre nails. On top of my nails looking a hot mess, I wasn't discounted anything for having to wait for 2.5 hours to be serviced. I will not return. read more

I saw this shop pop up on the google search results and it didn't seem bad. Now listen I don't trust just anyyyonee with my eyebrows, but I had a good feeling about this place. Ok, so I usually get my eyebrows/nail services done at the same place for years. They were super packed, and I was unable to wait, so my niece and I decided to go somewhere else. Staff was very nice and friendly. Not my normal nail place but decided to give it a try. Had my feet in the water until it turned cold before somebody came to help me (which was kid of nice anyways because it was so hot in the salon). While waiting a noticed tony fruit flies flying around and the staff swatting at them. When my tech put the hot towel on my legs long black hairs came off the towel which she proceeded to pick off of my legs. Then when going to grab the nail polish she dropped the polish (we're all human, it happens) however the glass cut my cousins foot (also getting a pedicure) and paint got all over my clothes and they didn't do anything about it. But she believes in making appointments with people & locking the doors so you can't get in. She also won't finish services you've requested if she finishes her first task after their closing time. I told the tech 5 times during my service that I did not like them and she told me they would look different after she filed them and they didn't. Customer service was good until you tell them you are not happy with how your nails were done. I guess she was the owner got very loud with me while I maintained an inside voice. They are very overpriced for their services. There are better nail salons in Charlotte that do not put on 3 coats of nail polish all over your cuticle and then say that is normal. It took an hour and 45 minutes to take my gel nail polish off and to get new gel on only. Some of the ladies were working on 2 customers at once and I could tell the customers were irritable. The lady I had was constantly on her Facebook. I told her that I needed a little more time for my nails to dry under the light since it usually chips easily, but she made me put my nails under for 5 minutes at a time. I didn't know that was a choice. The machine looked old, so maybe that's why? Oh, the girl next to me had to wait for a machine for her gel polish to dry. What kind of nail place doesn't have enough machines like that?! The other employee working next to me, young, blonde highlights, was talking to her customer and they kept making smart remarks about other guests and employees. They were quiet about it, but I overheard it. It was just an overall unpleasant visit. I've gone several times and I always leave a 20% tip. I still did this time, but if they can't remember me leaving a good tip, and still provide bad customer service, I won't be going back anymore. read more

I would give this nail salon a zero if I could. I came in with my daughter before our trip to the beach to get pedis. Everything seemed to be going well. My daughter picked a nice color. They didn't have the two colors I chose said they were low or out. So they recommended another color which really didn't come close to the color I picked like they said it would. But the girl seemed friendly enough. She had nice lashes also. So I went to pay and even gave her a $10 tip. I briefly browsed my toes because the color was so light anyway it was hard to see the color but seemed fine. We get to the beach and I look down again once we arrived and low and behold one complete toe she missed!!!!! I was so upset because I had been wanting to have my feet nice for the beach of course there is a lot of time with no shoes or just with sandals. I will NEVER be going back to this salon again. I used to think it was great but if they can miss painting a whole toe nail something is just off. I have five toes not four!!! read more

I am very disturbed by the fact that most of these comments are not accurate. There are 2 different salons pictured, UV Nails (Which is an awesome place to go! Been a client since 2011!) and UV Nail and Tan (less than a mile away) The service at UV Nails is consistently high. The staff is friendly and they produce quality work! The experience at the other shop is Not the same! So if you are going to take the time to publicly comment about your experience please ensure that you have your facts straight! Absolutely horrible! A fill in and polish didn't last 4 days. I went in and they would not help or fix at all. Told me I would have to pay for another service???? It only lasted FOUR days????
