Cindy does the best nails and lashes , cookie does great pedicures jack for eyebrows highly recommend

My experience is always great. I've been going to L Nails since the age of 16, and I'm now 32.

L Nails It's was definitely one of the worst experiences I've had...and I do mean the worst. This place was recommended to me by two different friends because I like designs and the places I tried were only able to do basic stuff. I've recently moved to Charlotte, and I've tried a few different businesses, so I figured I'd try them out. I'll start with the positive. 1) Regular customers were greeted warmly. 2) The lady who did my pedicure was extremely nice. That's all I got... Everything else was downhill. I waited 45 minutes to get seen which considering I did not have an appointment wasn't bad EXCEPT as usual, I asked before I sat down how long it takes to be seen and serviced (I will gladly come back if they are honest about time) I assumed I would get my nails done directly after my pedicure. That did not happen. I waited another 60 minutes after my pedicure to get my nails done. I also noticed that this happened a few times, so it seems this is how they try to keep you there, knowing it's going to be a longer wait but once you are in the chair getting your feet done where are you going to go? After my pedicure, I sat in the massage chair for another hour. Which wasn't so bad until they needed the chair. Then I sat at an empty station for another 30 minutes. A nail came in around 4 and got to work on giving my fill and fixing two nails. The entire time, she spoke to everyone but me. No biggie, except now I have to pay close attention to what you're doing and point out the rush job....cause multi-tasking wasn't her strength. The fill was sloppy, lumpy, and rushed. I repeatedly had to ask her to file, shape, and clean up my nails. She was very distracted by retelling everyone the story behind the hickies on her neck and once again no biggie if you can do that and do nice work. Just don't get an attitude when you're not doing a good job due to distractions. I asked for a particular color (before she came), and once it was time to paint my nails, it was "Oh, we don't have it" but this is close she didn't even pretend to look. I didn't have the time or energy to go back and forth. My nail broke later that day. I had to wait until Monday to get it fixed. I went back, and the OWNER made me wait until the girl who did my nails came in to fix it. I had to wait 30 minutes until she got there, and then she slapped on two more coats on the broken nail just as sloppy as the first time. I went somewhere else and had them done correctly. read more

I love Jennifer! Yes, the wait is super long but it's so worth it. Anytime I have a special occasion, I always come here to get my nails done. Depending on what you're getting done, it can be pricey but your nails will be banging! read more

I went in for a gel pedicure and manicure . I broke my big toe nail therefore I asked for acrylic on that toe nail . I kept telling the lady that it did not match my other toe nails and it looked too big and thick . She kept reassuring that from her angle it looked exactly the same . At the time I was 8 month pregnant I didn't want to keep arguing with her about something she's obviously not willing to fix so I left it at that . My finger nails looked lovely for a day then they started chipping and as stated I was 8 months pregnant my mother in law wouldn't let me touch anything so I wasn't doing any labor that would potentially ruin the gel polish . I paid $110 plus tip . I do not think this place is worth the price. Also the wait time is crazy . read more

Came on 3/6/2020 for two fills and a pedicure. Had gel polish with an additional $5 charge for a matte finish. Next morning, 3/7/2020 noticed matte was chipping and all my nails were not fully painted to the tip. Came back the afternoon of 3/7/2020 and spoke with the older who always is sitting in the pedicure chairs. Explained the situation and showed him my nails. He said she could fix them but it would be an hour wait. I asked if anyone else could repaint my nails, he said no. I spent over $100 with this establishment. That did not matter to him. Advised they just lost a customer and he really didn't care. I stopped going to this shop for quite sometime and I decided to come back due to convenience. I will not visit this shop again and unfortunately I paid with my debit card so I can't dispute the charges. You're only as valuable to this shop until they get their money. read more

I came here on a whim as I am from out of state and needed a full set and a pedicure. Both were executed well. I was disappointed that their dip selection was rather limited as I wanted a mauvey color and they didn't have that so I had to go with a deep purple. Other than that, the staff were friendly and polite, they took their time and the end products came out great. Some of the work I saw the nail techs doing was really intricate and detailed. If I were to return to the area I wouldn't hesitate to come back here. read more

Been coming here for years today there was a new lady she did my feet and because i was rushing and had crocs on i just left and rushed to get ready as im getting ready i realize THE NAIL TECH DIDNT PAINT MY PINKY TOE! Luckily i dont live tooo too far so i rushed back and they start laughing make me wait a good 10 minutes just for a pinky ! while im waiting and getting it done the employees are still laughing . I found them on IG. All of the work posted is beautiful however there's only 1 nail tech capable of doing what is shown which is very misleading. Every one is coming to be serviced by the same 1 or 2 techs. Any other nail tech that you get does a below average job. Each time Ive gotten crystals they are falling off by the next day - huge disappointment. The wait time is long. And I received the laziest pedicure from the young man. I gave them several tries but it's a no for me moving forward. read more

I had been going to L Nails for a long time and spent a lot of money on nails. This particular day I wanted to go to Cindy to get my nails done. I get it! She is the most popular and talented nail tech in the shop. This needs to be changed because it is causing ridiculously long waits, upset customers, or causing customers to leave. I had came to the shop around 2pm and they close around 6 or 7. I needed a fill-in and nail designs. I asked Cindy if she could do my nails for my birthday. She turned me away and stated I had two ppl in front of me. I'm like well does it take 4-5 hours to do two people's nails? It was just very rude and made me feel like she was being lazy and didn't want to help me. This wasn't the first time Cindy had turned me away. When the shop wasn't that busy or she only had 1 client in front of me which made no sense, but I didn't want to argue. She referred me to another nail tech Jennifer and said there wouldn't be a wait. Jennifer was about to take her lunch and I would have to wait another 45 minutes to a hour. Mind you by this time I had already been waiting for one hour and this was on a Thursday. After waiting for another 5 minutes I got up and walked out. I felt unvalued and unappreciated. I have spent $100s of dollars with Cindy and nails and spent a lot of money at L Nails over the years but this was the straw that broke the camel's back for me! Every time you go in there it's atleast a 1-2 hour wait and nobody apologizes for the inconvenience. Cindy will work on your nails and then stop and work on someone's lashes who just walked in which could take about 25 to 30 minutes. It's just very unprofessional and ghetto. Client's are constantly cursing her out about the wait or having them sit there while she does lashes. It is just getting worse in there and although she does the best job in there she needs to train two or three more people on her technique and nail design skills instead of being money hungry because it's showing bad customer service and you can't just keep pushing people off to different nail techs because you don't want to do it or because it's not at the least a $100 service, or have people waiting almost 2 hours to get a fill-in or a full-set. That's ridiculous! She does an amazing job on nails but Do better! I walked out and went to Valentino Nails in the University area and they were super busy. I walked in and no more than 3 minutes later I was seated and my fill-in was completed with nail art and the young lady did an amazing job. I would recommend Valentino Nail Bar over L Nails just due to customer service and time. You have to appreciate your long time customers! read more

I had a great experience here. Came in at lunchtime on a Saturday and the wait wasn't long. My nail tech took her time and did a great job.

Hands down one of my favorite salons. They are the truth when it comes to design with a variety of different things to chose from. However the powder they use must be a poor quality. I've been going here for 6 Years Now. Only Salon I Go to For My Nails and Eyebrows. They Do Eyebrows AMAZING every Customer I see who gets there eyebrows done look phenomenal.
