We went here for a ladies night and let me say it was a great choice. It appears to be a family owned restaurant which is promising when looking for good food. We were seated immediately and our waitress was very friendly. We ordered two servings of bread at $1.00 each . The bread is very much worth the dollar Next we ordered our entrees which came out quickly due to the restaurant being empty . The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting for even the biggest wine connoisseur. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was the BEST chicken sandwich I ever had. My table also enjoyed a chocolate brownie complimentary for a birthday. It was melt in your mouth good. Everything that I tried was AMAZING!!!!! I wish I was a local so I could go more often. -

I've eaten and many of The Grove locations and all are good. Last week I met a friend for lunch at the Bee Cave location and had their Asian Crisp salad w/o bell peppers. I met another friend at the downtown location after a networking event. We sat at the bar and had a good time catching up. It was within walking distance of where we were meeting earlier and offers a variety of choices. We each had a glass of wine and some appetizers. I love their mushroom soup and didn't realize until after I ordered it that it has yellow bell peppers in it. I was able to pick most of them out. They were kind enough to knock a few dollars off the bill for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. I'm more sensitive to the green ones but the yellow ones I'm not a fan of either. My friend had the bruschetta. I think it was the first time for her to eat at The Grove and she enjoyed it too.

All around great restaurant! Good atmosphere with their nice outdoor patio, service was great, and the food and cocktails were delicious. I always have to get the bruschetta when I come!

I love the Grove!! It's my comfort place to go for a good, hot meal in a decent restaurant. Service was kind and you cannot beat the prices of their mimosa flight which is about $6 for 3 glasses it's an incredibly affordable deal with amazing flavor choices!! I ordered the desert pear, lavender and pineapple mimosa. For my meal I ordered the chicken and waffles for brunch and my meal came out extremely overcooked which was disappointing. The server was polite about it but my friend's order also came out burnt as well so I'm not sure if they were having an "off" weekend.

We were downtown for a concert and was looking around for something to eat as a pre-event snack. We got the bruschetta and when they said they had a frozen espresso martini, I knew I had to try it!! We sat at the bar and had no problem grabbing a spot around 6:00pm on a Friday. The bruschetta was great and tasted fresh. The espresso martini was my favorite and I'd definitely go back again. Thanks for a new spot!

This place was amazing! Great atmosphere and incredible food! I attached a picture of the gluten free bruschetta, which was so good! We will definitely be going back!

Went with my uncle and had a great outdoor seating. The views are all trees with nice breeze and space. Definitely sit outside. Service was great as they weren't pushy. We got drinks and apps and then waited for dinner. Appetizers we had bruschettas traditional mozzarella, one with mushrooms and one with honey. Even my uncle who isn't a mushroom fan loved it. Ravioli was great but best part was soft bread after to soak it up was delicious. My uncle had a chicken sandwich and loved it as he said it was still juicy and great bread. Sit outdoors and it will be great.

What a lovely place! The service was wonderful and the staff made sure our large group (12) was fully taken care of at all times. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was delicious! The shrimp was the star of the restaurant for me, the fried shrimp appetizer with the sauce was so flavorful. The pasta could have been spicier but that's a personal preference. Also the crème brûlée was fantastic!! (No pictures because I could NOT wait to dive in lol) Would recommend to a friend visiting austin!

4 stars out of 5, because our appetizers were sooo good, but our actual meal was decent. Initially when we got there, for our Valentine's dinner, we were placed at a table that was all the way in the far back. That didn't feel right, it felt like we were isolated, idk, and the table was wiggly. However, we were able to move to a better table and area. The ambiance was great. We'd probably go back.

My second time here trying some new things, I took an Uber from South Austin to meet some girlfriends for a catchup. What's not pictured here is the bruschetta. It's a flat $15 for three crustini but you get to pick combo three ways to have it. For example: ricotta, lemon peel and bacon or prosciutto, fig and arugula or raspberry, goat cheese and honey. The little crustini is then cut into like 6 one bite pieces. If I'm being honest it was not exciting at all, none of them wowed me in flavor or texture and I was low key mad at the price point for three toast points. Try something else. I had a skinny margarita and it was delicious and the mains are always delicious. My halibut was cooked to perfection. My friends are sommeliers and loved the wine menu and I always plan to come back and try the many things I have not yet.

Great wine and drinks. Stopped in on a Friday without a reservation, and we were promptly seated in the bar area. The 2 bartenders take care of the bar and tables, and our server was fantastic. We started with the Cabernet Flight, and we both usually tend toward the heartier (and generally more expensive) wines, but my wife ended up liking the least expensive one better! The flights are a good way for one, two, or more of you to try a few different options at a reasonable price. For dinner, my wife got the Quinoa Bowl and added shrimp. I got the Parm Crusted Flounder. Both were excellent, and came out quickly, fresh, and tasty. My fish was excellent, the grits were very good, and the mound of asparagus was great. The Quinoa had a great mix of veggies, and was a great, healthier option. Our server was super busy, but checked in on us regularly, and took great care of us. The hostess did a great job getting us in, and thanked us graciously on the way out. Highly recommended.

We did not have a reservation and were able to be seated pretty promptly. We requested bar seating so we could watch the KC chiefs v the Bengals game. I had previously had the carrot ginger soup with a grilled sandwich at my last visit for lunch. Even though the grilled cheese sandwich is not part of the dinner menu, the kitchen accommodated my order from the lunch menu which was fantastic! I recommend both the soup and sandwich. The cheese is really gooey and the outside is just the right amount of crunch. The carrot ginger soup has a great balance of the sweetness of the carrots and the ginger flavor is not overwhelming. It is super creamy too. Don't be fooled by how small the cup is compared to a bowl of soup. It was extremely filling!

The atmosphere here is beautiful, and very clean. We went here for brunch on our way home to Houston leaving Austin. The have really good music, it was a vibe. I got the mimosa flight which was delish!! For food, I got the fried chicken sandwhich with a side caeser salad instead of fries. It was okay, nothing special, but the sauce on the side for the sandwich made it better for sure. Food came out fresh. I think everyone enjoyed their meals. It was a nice close to our weekend away. Food alone, I probably wouldn't come back, but I'd come back for drinks and the music for sure.

Yes, we have fans on our patio! :)

What is the mimosa flavor that is a bright pink? desert pear?

    Yes! Desert Pear :)

    Are there heaters outside?

Yes... plenty of heaters on the patio.

    What's the dress code?

    Casual

Is there an easily accessible parking lot?

    Yes, right in front.

Parking was a little hard to come by in the neighborhood, but not impossible. I ended up waiting a little over 1.5 hrs after checking in with the hostess and we were able to snag the very last plate of paella! I've had my fair share of paella and I'm in no way a paella snob, but this one missed the mark for me. 1) the portion did not reflect the $34 price tag. 2) portions of the rice were undercooked and very hard. 3) it was way too salty. It did come with a mix of mussels, clams, shrimp, and sausage, with a side of toast, but I can't justify this part of the experience. We also ordered calamari and croquetas. The croqueta was delicious and flavorful, but the calamari didn't stand out. It tastes like any other calamari. The ambiance itself is cute and the service was great, but the food was lacking.

Wow! What an incredible experience at Sixty Vines in The Domain!…read more We made our reservation through OpenTable and mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. When we arrived at our table, we were surprised with a handwritten Happy Anniversary postcard and a beautifully presented gift--such a thoughtful touch that immediately made the evening feel special. Our server, Polina, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to learn what styles of wine we enjoy and brought us a few samples before helping us choose an amazing wine flight. Her recommendations were spot-on! We also enjoyed a custom charcuterie board and the prosciutto & fig pizza, both of which were outstanding. To top it all off, Andrew, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We loved learning about Sixty Vines' unique wine-on-tap program and appreciated their commitment to sustainability, including composting food scraps. (They didn't have much to compost from our table--maybe a bite or two of pizza crust! ) The only disappointing part of the evening was that we had tickets to a show and couldn't stay longer to explore more of their incredible wine selection. That's just another reason we'll definitely be back!

When we arrived, our table was ready right away this time and it was a great table. It wasn't packed this time. It was busy still, but overall the place and environment is great. Our waiter was amazing. He was very attentive knew what to recommend and was very nice and a fun person also. This time we started off with a golden beats and let me tell you they were delicious and the cheese that they use at the bottom is just phenomenal. This is definitely something you need to get. We also started off with the muscles and they were delicious. The broth that they were in was so good. You could literally drink it and you just wanted to submerge your bread in it. I also got an espresso martini to wake up because I've been so jetlagged and it was perfect. it was a good balance of the espresso and not sweet. I love that they don't use milk here unlike other places. My mother got the opera spritz and it was delicious. Very well balanced. It was not Avril heavy like some places tend to do. My mother got the Braised pork pasta, and it was divine. This was full of flavor a good amount of sauce not salty. We also got the chefs butcher pizza and it was amazing. I loved that you can tell they make all the ingredients there and the bread is just so good. Also had some kind of sauce on there with some piece of cheese that just balanced it so good. Definitely thanks to this experience. I will say I will keep going back. I'm thinking maybe when I first swim they were just having an off day but now trying the rest of these dishes. They did really good and definitely a place to enjoy when you're at the domain.

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.

Rosé Gosé was a delightful Mother's Day lunch spot. It is a whole vibe, and it is uniquely French! When we walked in an artist was playing romantic music on his keyboard, which set the tone for the brunch. It is a small restaurant inside with a larger area of seating on the patio. Of course, our reservations were inside in the comforts of air conditioning. You immediately notice a wine wall hence the name Rosé Gosé. The restaurant has many windows which provide lots of natural light. The tables house miniature yellow roses and utensils sat in a small wooden block...very French. All the servers were dressed in mauve clothing that resemble scrubs from a hospital. If someone stepped out in a French beret, I would have fallen over. Our server, Sergey, immediately served us water and took our order. The restaurant was highlighted as a modern European bistro. The atmosphere was charming, elegant, and stylish making it ideal for a Mother's Day brunch. My hubby ordered a ribeye, eggs and French Fries. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon and egg whites. While I'm not a huge red meat eater, I tasted a piece of the hubs ribeye and it was nicely prepared. My avocado toast was yummy to the nth degree! Everything was perfect. The avocado was precisely cut and at the right level of softness. The salmon was chopped into tiny little squares and so enjoyable to eat. We could not be more pleased. With a name like Rosé Gosé you would expect their drinks to be superb. My hubby ordered a hibiscus tea, which was delightful. I ordered a mimosa that had high quality ingredients and was perfectly balanced...so smooth. We were also pleased with the drinks. This was the first time at Rosé Gosé, however, it definitely will not be the last.
