It's been routine that I go to for over a year now best always exploring new options like a gel pedicure

The technician who did my nails was polite, but that did not make up for the overall experience. He completely dismissed my concerns about my nails being fragile. His nails were dirty, and his work area was filthy. The salon should have been honest from the beginning. if they didn't know how to properly apply hard gel, they should have said so instead of wasting my time and money. I paid $65 for clear nails, even though the color was supposed to be soft pink/tan. It was obvious he didn't know how to apply hard gel. As soon as I saw the brush and his application technique, I knew I should have stopped the service, but I needed a hard coat on my nails before leaving town. Throughout the appointment, he was on his phone playing games. He chipped three of my nails while drilling, even after I specifically told him to be careful. Not once did he ask me to wash my hands, I had to get up and do it myself because he kept spraying acetone on my hands instead. He also left three nails crooked because he filed too much off one side. Another employee was doing her own toenails when a customer walked in, and she took her without washing her hands or putting on gloves. The entire salon was unsanitary. The floors were not swept or mopped, and every station I saw was dusty and messy. When I asked about pricing, he asked where I usually get my nails done. When I told him, he laughed and said, "That's why it's cheap." No, it's not cheap service, you guys just have poor quality while charging high prices. This is my 3rd time here and I will go again. They have a nice environment and offer lots of services for your nails, feet, and more. On this day it was slow and I was the only client there. The few things that did bother me was my water was cold for my pedicure and she was the only one there and was trying to do other things which took the focus on completing my pedicure. I just think it was a bad day and will still go back again. read more

Great spot!!! Clean, airy and modern decor with pre-COVID prices! I couldn't believe my other nail place (which looks old and weathered in comparison) had such a price hike this year compared to last! V Nails gave me an excellent basic pedicure for $30- just what I wanted! Good attention to details- hot towel and foot scrub, leg massage with lotion and more! Also, the massage chairs were lovely! I paid for a hack job. I got the dip powder done and by time I left some of my nails were bleeding because my technician kept sanding my skin with the tool. I had it done this past Friday and the dip is already starting to lift up. I have a place that i normally go to but because my girl there is so good she's always busy plus she doesn't do designs so I've been trying to find a new spot. (This however will not be it) Furthermore, my brother got a mani with clear gel polish and he also was cut a few times from a different technician. I've been here twice and my first experience was ok, the second time I was robbed. I only received a pedicure the first time I went and Tiffany was the one to do it. She was ok and charged me appropriately. The 2nd time I went, I was overcharged and went to the older lady that was either the owner or manager. On their menu it says acrylic with gel is $45 but I was charged $60! I chose the milk and honey pedicure, which is $50 (that's fine), but I was charged an extra $25 for gel. On their menu it's an extra $20 for gel with a pedicure. Why was I charged an extra $5?! When I announced my concerns about being charged more, the manager said they're going up on their prices and she started to argue with me. I left because I didn't have time to sit there and argue with her. I know how they would've tried to make me look like the irate irrational one so I just left and I won't go back. I was a walk-in for a pedicure and full set . My pedicure was great. It was done by a young lady. Then I was passed on to an older gentleman who clearly didn't know what he was doing. My nails look so terrible. The shape the color the unevenness of the length some of my nails are half painted. I will never go there again! read more

Disappointing. I wanted to try a new place for dip nails. The space looked clean and the prices were great. The tech looked at me like I had six heads when I ask for dip nails with tips for a little length since my nails are short but she agreed to do it. Once she finished removing my old nails, I noticed her applying dip to my natural nails. I asked if she was still putting on tips. She clearly forgot and began using the dremel to take everything off. Then her boss/lady in charge said my nails were too short to put tips on. Despite the tech literally just taking off my old nails, agreeing to do them, and maybe hoping I wouldn't notice?, she did a great job with my six year olds nails who just got polish. I unfortunately ended up not getting anything done. read more

I stopped in on a Monday after work around 5:45 and was asked if I could come back the next day because Jennifer was the only person in the salon. I wrote down my name and number and came back on Tuesday where I was the only customer. That made me a little nervous but I guess that's normal for the early part of the week. I told Jennifer I had just moved to the area and was trying out a few nail places. She welcomed me to the neighborhood and said to make sure to come back to her.She listened to what I needed took her time with me, and wasn't overly chatty. For a great pedicure and a gel fill I was happy to pay $70. read more

Here is my experience with this place. I went in and it was MLK day. No body in this place which I thought odd. I ask the girl to take off my nails. Now I went to another place around Catonsville they charged me 5$ plus tip to remove the nails. ( I wanted to try this new place, big mistake) then I asked her to give me a manicure. My total bill for this plus tip was 32$. Yes, you are reading this right. I could of went somewhere else and got a pedicure for 32$. I said "wait, you charge me 25$ for this service". Yes she answered. I suppose it was my fault for not asking how much it would be before she started or she would of received no tip. I will never step foot in this place ever again. read more

Stopped in on Wednesday to try and get a full set. I was told come back tomorrow. I called on Thursday and made an appointment for 1pm. When I arrived, the owner said the technician she had scheduled for me did not show up. I asked how long the wait would be, desperate to get my nails done but was told come back before 6pm. Place is clean and they have a good color selection. Very heavy language barrier, it's very hard to communicate. They also do not do good nail designs. Twice now I've gone with a photo of a simple design and they could not achieve it. I think it's better to be honest and say it's not in your skill set then to leave someone with ugly nail designs. I'm assuming the Owner is the woman in the first chair when you first walk in. She is very rude and I can't decipher if it's just a cultural barrier or if she is always nasty to everybody. It's so hard to find a good nail salon these day so for now I will deal with the rude customer service. Peter does a great full set .
