    Would never go back. One star for the decor, the place looks nice inside. went in for a pedicure and acrylic gel nail removal The workers: unfriendly. The service: rushed. My toe nails were cut unevenly. A bit overpriced for lackluster service and uneven work. The worst part, however, was the nail removal. I asked if they properly soak off the nails, to which they said yes. Which was a lie. Instead, they rip the nails off aggressively with tools and force things under your nail bed to loosen them. My usual salon, would never. Did not even shave the nail down, just cut into the nails. My nails were left rigid and bleeding. Stay AWAY.

    Overall this place is good. It's busy but they have a healthy amount for staff. Tip: Bring cash!! Vivi is great. From the cleaning of my nails to the polish to the massage. This place is located in a busy plaza but is worth the Update: 10.06.08 I got a pedicure with Emily and she is amazing. I plan on continuing to come here and see Emily. Update: 12.04.08 I've come here a couple times and received consistent service.

    Been coming here for 2 years and I love this place. My nail tech Judy is the best so professional and kind and definitely makes sure I get what's best for my nails with the look I am going for. But today...today was terrible. I normally get a full set but I went for a pedicure. My service started with my regular Judy, and started great. But then she went to do a manicure service which I expected and passed off to another technician. I have really thick calluses on my feet and need them to soak a while to to get as soft as possible. I asked him if I could soak for 5 minutes. That's it! And he looked smug and walked away. 5 minutes passed and he began another client. Never even came back to me to do the service. I asked who was going to finish my service if he had started someone else and at the moment the only person available. They ladies did ask someone else to do them but when she came she seemed irritated. She had also previously walked by 3 times looking but not saying anything. Throughout my service she did a great job but she huffed a bit and I could tell she didn't want to do my service. I'm so unhappy with todays treatment and will NEVER get a pedicure or any service done here that isn't by Judy. I love my toes though so the work they do is good. I ended paying way more than expected. My feedback: stick to who you know here.

    Absolute mess- "SNS manicure"

    I used to really like it here. First visit since the pandemic, and won't return. Went in for pedicure and my daughter wanted SNS. My tech had an attitude and rushed through my service, and the tech who did my daughter disappeared in the middle of doing her nails for 15 minutes to help someone else, and then proceeded to cut her up with the nail drill. She was bleeding and she left in tears. When I spoke with the manager, no apology was offered- just "oh they just cut her cuticles but nothing will happen". WHAT? I'll attach the pics of her nails. Outrageous. Had to go buy neosporin at target to prevent infection.

    Manicure was supposed to be the same color as my pedicure.

    I do believe my unfortunate experience was based on the nail tech I had. I went for a manicure and a pedicure. The guy went so fast there were patches in my nails that were see through. I told him and he fixed them quickly. I also gave him the color I wanted which my mani was supposed to match my pedi and they are multiple shades off. I was there just last week and the gel manicure is already lifting. Definitely was not worth the price for the service I received.

    i really try not to leave one star reviews. But this, was BAD.... It's a long one, so here goes…read more this location isn't far from me, and my normal person that I normally go to at a different location didn't have the time that I needed. So I decided to go to a different location, which is this one, which is a little bit closer to my house. and I click any "Sugarista"- and the time I needed didn't pop up. Then I proceeded to click the individual to see the time that I needed. I finally clicked on Liv (I think that was her name) for 525pm. I made an appointment at 5:25pm, because that is when I can make it after work. A couple minutes later I get an email saying my appointment has been rescheduled to 5:20 PM. OK... so I leave work and I rushed there from Timonium to Ellicott city, in traffic. I called the store to let them know that I'm gonna be five minutes late... Which would be 525, my original booking appointment... and a man answers the phone. He tells me no problem, but I can be taken whenever. I actually get there at exactly 5:20 PM. I get into the store and I don't hear or see anybody. I decided to wait a couple minutes and nothing. I decided to call out into the store for somebody, and I finally got an answer. This is 530pm. The owner of the store calls me, Toshi, telling me that my Sugarista is on her way. I go to the bathroom, I come out, and another Sugarista is at the front desk, who I thought was my Sugarista. But it wasn't. It was somebody else. I was informed that my Sugarista was not coming. This is 540ish-pm at this point. I'm still waiting. I've been waiting for 20mins. Then the Sugarista tells me that she's completely booked and she can take me at 6:30pm if I don't mind waiting. So I drove 45 minutes from Timonium in traffic, waited 25 minutes, and then I would've had to wait another 45 minutes to get serviced?!? Heck no. I walked out. On top of that, the owner, Toshi, calls me from the store phone, apologizing. In that message, she gives me her personal phone number. She proceeds to tell me how sorry she is for the inconvenience, and that she will give me a gift card for the full balance of the service. I tell her I normally go to the location in Perry Hall, but the girl I normally go to didn't have the time that I needed. She said that's totally understandable and Once she figures out how to send me a gift card, she would. She sent me a gift card for $25. My service costs $65. When I spoke to her today, she said that she wasn't going to send me the full amount for the service for another store, but cover the cost if I decided to come to her store.. after this experience, I don't think so. Even though Ellicott city is closer to me, I will be going to the one in Perry Hall, which is roughly 45 minutes away. I do think it is a little untrustworthy that she would tell me all of this on her personal phone and not the work phone so that it doesn't show up on my account. 0/10, will not be going back. But will 1000% be going to Perry Hall which is 40 mins away from me.

My aesthetician was Ciara. I had my eyebrows, lips, under arms and Brazilian done. At soon as I walked in, I can smell weed on her, especially as her hands were close to my face, and I smelled it on her breathing on me. But that's not the worst. It felt like I was the first customer because the wax was really hot. I had mentioned it to her several times that it was hot and she even told me that she noticed it so when she did my eyebrows but she continued to do my eyebrows and upper lips. She even put more wax on top even after she said that she notice it. I did keep on letting her know that it was still too hot. She asked if this was the first time I've had wax done, and I told her - no. I've been getting waxed for the last 25 years. When I got to my car to check my face, I had large noticeable burnt spots under my eyebrows, both left and right and over my upper lip, both left and right. I went back to the store to show the manager, Francesca Moreira, to complain about the burn spots from Ciara. The manager told me that it looks a little red; and when I told her to look closer and that Ciara actually burnt skin off, she told me that she was not certified to say so or not. It does not take a genius to see that skin was taken from the hot wax. There's a huge difference. I'm not sure how she is the manager of a team of aestheticians, and not certified just to see that Ciara, or other aestheticians, actually took skin off when Ciara waxed my eyebrows and upper lip. I had to ask to talk to the Regional Manager, Tony Badolato, but she only offered to provide me an email. I had to call back several times because she provided two incorrect emails where it was undeliverable because it didn't exist. Finally, the front desk provided me with the correct one. It took 3x times to get a hold of the regional manager. I had to go to work with burnt scabs on my face. I cried upset over the whole experience. Bottom line, I will not be coming back to any European Wax location. This experience destroyed any expectation I might have with any other aesthetician they might have on staff or the managers they hire who don't have training or is certified in the service they provide. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I did get reimbursed but not until after I was asked to provide pictures for proof by the Regional Manager. It was a horrific experience. Never again.

I've had many stylists make mistakes & not apologize to me before I leave the chair, which is so infuriating. It's also why I rarely ever get my hair done anymore, unless i really needed to, but now I might just learn how to do my own hair bcs at least if i were to mess up, i'd mess it up for FREE. Funny, i decided to visit the salon this time around so that i don't mess my bangs up before an event coming up just for that to be the main issue. Talked to the owner Jen who did try to fix the bang, but she couldn't really do much.
