Hands down to the honesty of this auto repair shop. I initially took my Q50 infinity to the dealership for a minor clunking noise from the steering wheel. Infinity service advisor sent me an estimate of close to $6000 to replace a part which is totally a rip off since my car has only 30k mileage. I ended up calling V Tech & Ella & husband helped us out right away. Their mechanic checked my car & found a replacement isn't even need at this with this low mileage. I recently called this establishment for a estimate. The diagnostic alone was $150. On top of that guesstimate, the $150 isn't even a part of the repair if done there. The diagnostic isn't always on point and if I'm going to guess, id just go buy a OBD-ll Scanner. You can get them for cheap and way under $150 @ Harbor Freight. One of the hardest things that anyone would have to go through is finding a good mechanic. I'm speaking in terms of one who's reliable, honest, and values their customer's needs right from the start. I don't believe a lot of people understand the work that goes into fixing and maintaining their engine to ensure it runs smoothly without issues. That alone or they face the problem of spending way more than what's needed. From the point of my first call, I was met with Ella who after providing some details of what was going gave me her input of what might be going on. I set the date and time only to arrive with the same energy that occurred over the phone. I left my car and received a call with their conclusions. Luckily, for now, there's nothing major with my engine, but I asked for a 100k tune and was given a quote five minutes later. I received my car three hours later and I'm happy with how it feels along with finally being able to form a connection with a trusted shop. If I could rate these laughable jerks at a -100, I would. When they don't want to work on a car, They'll tell you that the car "has been touched by too many hands". What kind of lame, weak, 6th grader excuse is that? It's been touched by too many hands? What a laugh! They didn't even run a diagnostic to find out what the problem is. Though we were willing to pay. If you're good (even an average mechanic), to diagnose a problem, the history of the car won't be an issue. Rude lady rather laugh and talk on the phone than work with potential customers in a respectful manor. She clearly needs training in regards to customer service. Really pathetic........ Amazed to see any positive ratings for this place. We won't be going back there again and I won't recommend this place to anyone. Oh wait, there is one exception. They've had my car in the shop for three weeks now and I have not gotten a single update as to when I'll have my car back. Every time I call to ask what's going on they tell me the same thing that they're looking for my part. I would've appreciated if Ella kept me posted on my car. I even texted her two days ago and she barely called me today saying they couldn't find a transmission or verify it and that they're going to have to try to fix it themselves which will take them so much longer.
