They used to be good when they were smaller and taking in a few cars at at a time, now the whole lot is full of cars. Before the turn around time was one day, now you have to wait two to three days. I put my truck in to get fixed, wrong diagnose and it cost me over $600 for something that didn't need repair. read more

Had a check engine light pop on for a knock sensor on my 2014 grand Cherokee. They suggested replacing the sensors and did so for 1k but the issue was an actual knock which apparently is common in this year of jeep. Wish they had been a little more knowledgeable and inspected the cams and rockers. read more

Really happy with getting service here. I had an issue with my car and my dealer didn't even have an appointment for over a month and another dealer told me I could drop my car off and they'll get around to diagnosing it in "3-5 days". This shop did a very thorough diagnosis of my car and ended up fixing the issue for almost 1/3rd the cost as what I thought it would be (and even less than that at dealer prices). A-1 auto expert knew everything to do for my 2018 Honda Accord's B1 maintenance minder. They also checked out my car battery health since I asked about it. They advised replacing my air filters soon, no need to do it immediately and can wait until halfway or on my next oil change service. I had contacted this place regarding fixing a simple issue with my Mercedes. The customer service getting a quote and some simple answers answered were great. I was told Saturday's the shop only has 1 mechanic working that day and I was told my job would take half day when it ended up taking only 90 minutes (fortunately). The job I needed was getting my low beams replaced so I bought some new LED bulbs. A few days later I find out the car was experiencing some issues with the lights. When I called the shop regarding the lights, they told me they wouldn't look at the car because the lights were aftermarket but they had NO issue at all installing them knowing they were aftermarket. Razi is incredible! This past Saturday, I called Razi to inquiry about getting a turn signal light bulb replaced. I actually wasn't sure if it was the bulb or a fuse. I arrived a past 2:00 p.m., and Razi indicated they were already closed. Although the shop was closed, Razi said he would check it out for me. He replaced the bulb, and the turn signal worked great. Pretty easy fix indeed. Even though the shop was closed and Razi fixed the problem, he would not accept any money. As I indicated in my previous review, Razi can be trusted, and he does not take advantage of his customers. For my cars that are out of warranty, I will not hesitate to continue to patronize A-1 Auto Expert. Awesome experience! read more

I've had a Nissan Murano that needed some heavy work and the shop I had originally took it to, wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for it. So I decided to get a 2nd opinion and tow my car from Moreno Valley, here and it was the best decision ever. When I got it diagnosed at A-1, I was in shock how the other shop wanted to charge me and fix things that weren't necessary and learned right away, I had made the right decision of bringing it here. 1. I received a quote from Rifah. She was very quick to respond and she gave me full quote on my needs for an oil and filter change. 5 stars! 2. A-1 does not accept appointments. Rifah recommended coming in between 8 and 9am for a "quicker" service. We arrived at 7:55am but they gave us an estimate of wait time of at least 2 hours, and it did take them exactly two hours. 2 stars! 3. On a busy Saturday, they only have one mechanic working and they claimed that they had a lot of cars in line already. I wish they had more mechanics working to satisfy more customers. 2 stars! 4. They practiced "no contact service" due to COVID-19, which we appreciated, however we couldn't even get a chance to see if they were doing the job right. Not that we don't trust A-1 or anything, but we know there are many shady auto shops out there so we wish they showed us what they did to confirm everything. 3 stars!
