The call wait times has become ridiculous! Good luck ever getting ahold of the dentist office here. Once I had literally called all day and when no one answered I drove up there just to catch h her on the phone with her friend. So I sit back down and called her to see if she would answer and guess what nothing. Just continued to talk to her friend. So walked back to the window and stood there, she told her friend one second I have someone at my window. I confirmed the number with her and then I said I have been calling all day. All she said was that the phone lines are always busy during these times. So a different time trying to call and make an appointment through the clinic I hear people pick up the phone and then put me back on hold without saying anything! read more

This is the absolute worst VA that I have ever been to, and I have been to many VA facilities all over the USA over the past 35 years. My primary care doctor and his very efficient nurse are fine, but the ineptness of the call center, dental desk people, the woman that is supposed to refer to community care dental are the problem. Hold times are ridiculous, Sometimes after a 40 minute hold time and pick up and hang up. Ms. Williams in community care will never answer her phone or call me back when I leave her a message. The patient advocate never answers or calls back either. O am drafting a letter to my district congressman (who is a Navy) vet. Maybe this will light a fire under their lazy backsides up there. The only thing they do consistently well at, is screwing up. It's a dumpster fire on steroids. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, and niether give a shi*. They create more PTSD than the battlefield. read more

Awful for Primary Care, and don't expect to get anyone on the phone in under 20 minutes. I had my first appointment today with my new primary care doctor and was amazed at how inept my new "team" is. Let me just say I now understand those combat vets who blow their brains out in the parking lots. They don't listen or care though, so it would be a waste. I hope the VHA falls apart and it just becomes an insurance plan. read more

I've been on hold 20 minutes now. No excuse for this! I have a job and can't sit on hold all day.

Ive been on hold for 20 minutes before talking to a representative and they answered and put me on hold for another 10 minutes. Once they answered and asked for my name they didn't give enough time to unmute my phone and talk and hung up on me. I called many times one week and the average wait time before someone answers is almost 20 minutes. This is ridiculous read more

I've been here a couple of times and I'll say the staff is ok. Some days nice and some not, they're human. What I will say is that Dr. Naidu is the one to find! She is by far the kindest doctor I've met and she WILL take care of you. I met her the first time and then moved away for two years and at my next appointment she still knew me and mentioned things in my life that I wouldn't even think she would. Any time I message her she gets back to me quickly and with a solution. She helped me get scheduled for my back, ankle, and so much more. Thank you Conroe VA team. read more

if you want to feel insignificant, and a burden, then you're headed to the right place. truthfully this clinic just needs to be closed. I've sent Congressman Luttrell a letter saying that as well. hands down the worst clinic I've ever been to. it's understaffed, and zero accountability for the doctors and nurses. multiple instances of no show for appointments, and when you can get an appointment you have to hear about the 13,000 veterans that they're serving and that they're doing the best they can. fire the director, or just close it down. these doctors seem to care more about unimportant things than actual treating of patients. I have a major spinal injury and my "treatment" plan is suck it up and maybe later on we'll help you with something. after almost 5 years of fighting with them I finally got seen by the TBI and PTSD clinics; too bad that the doctors I saw were confused as to be able to treat me for unknown reasons. I have spent almost a decade self treating a tbi, ptsd, nerve damage, as well as multiple other issues. the best help I ever got from the VA was when one doctor moved my meds around so I could drink my pain away, because "alcohol is better than anything I am able to give you" now I can drift into the cold embrace of alcoholism and homelessness thanks to the department of veteran affairs. I guess when they say they are working towards helping veterans they mean helping them into the streets or a coffin read more

This is just for today. Today I went to get blood work down, I don't recall the woman's name that took my blood, but her attitude was terrible. She was rude asking me several times what time I was supposed to be her, in which I told her my appointment time to come was at 11:15. Mind you I got there early. Then she goes on to say how we the patients complain when we can get blood work done for some reason. And the poke with the needle HURT I just jumped and made a sound, it was clear I was uncomfortable. No apologize or nothing from her she acted as if she was in a rush and ready for me to go. I don't even write complaints, but I was very upset. read more

This location has some nice people that work and try to help, but the majority are lazy. I had an appointment for my elderly dad in January '22. I made the appointment in July '21 and these clowns sent me a post card that it was canceled mid-December. The earliest appointment (4 months later) I could get was April 8th (telephone appt) - No one called. I made another phone appointment for the April 15 - hopefully these clowns call. This is wrong on so many levels. Do Better! read more

Staff is helpful considering the limited services offered at the Conroe VA. I am a veteran and would prefer using VA services, however, i am unable to obtain basic routine care and monitoring such as mammograms, audiometric testing, MRI's on back, etc. i am not able to get to Debakey Houston, which is a madhouse on their good days. it is now my choice by necessity to utilize private resources for many procedures. Getting my medical records from VA records in Houston is relatively impossible. Although the pcp is ever changing from one appointment to another, i am pleased with the ease of getting medications updated and the pharmacy system and reorder is great. i am a retired RN, VietNam era, so I am able to assist in coherent communication with the treating docs. Lots of good and also much improvement needed in services offered. They are all doing the best they can with the tools provided by the government. read more

As far as VA Clinics go I don't have too much experience. However, the staff at the VA Clinic in Conroe have their hands full and are always as helpful as they can be. It's too bad the government can't afford to provide them with some extra hands because that would really change the mood at the VA. With the volume of people they serve it's a mirical they are as friendly as they are. read more

I have lived in the spring area for just over a year now. The Conroe VA clinic is the closest to my home, so I have been there I think 4 or 5 times now. The staff is Great. Always very friendly, and as helpful as they can be. The wait time is normally minimal, even though they are almost always busy. I think the longest I have ever had to wait, was 30 minutes after my appointment time. Not to bad. As for my doctor, and the reason I am only giving 4 stars, My doctor is Good, she really is, but in my opinion she lacks compassion. It is always kind of uncomfortable seeing a doctor anyways, but it always seems like she wants to help, and get me out as fast as fast can be. Yes she does what I need her too, And I appreciate that, and understand she is busy, but making it a bit more personal may help get vets to open up about their issues. I guess the only way to really fix that issue, is more funding for VA to get more doctors in the clinics to lighten the load a bit. But that is my review. Overall really good. read more
