I had to repeatedly ask for prices on pieces I was interested in, which felt unnecessarily inconvenient. One particular item was quoted to me at $60, and I decided to purchase it along with a few other pieces. I paid in full, in cash, and went to load one of the larger items into my car. However, when I returned to collect the $60 piece, I was informed that I could not take it! Apparently, the lady in charge had decided the item shouldn't be sold for the agreed-upon price--after the transaction was completed. I was stunned. I had already paid the amount I was quoted! After questioning this absurd change, the man I spoke with reluctantly returned my $60, leaving me both baffled and appalled. I have never encountered a business that would renege on a sale after payment has been made. This is an unacceptable and unprofessional practice. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Trotters, and I advise others to think twice before visiting.

Hello everyone, so my fiancée called these people for repair on her appliance. The service charge…read morewas 100 dollars, which meant a "technician" drives to your home and simply takes a picture of the serial number and says "we will be in touch". Afterwards the appliance repair is almost $1,000 dollars... combined with labor. They say that your 100 dollars will go towards it but why? The whole purpose of an "appliance repair" is for what? To avoid having to pay money for a brand new entire appliance. I went to the business and voiced my concerns and that a refund for the 100 should be given. If not then I will do whatever I can to inform people to never use this business again. The secretary even agreed with me and said many are very unhappy with their service and told me that the 100 dollars could be refunded. She also informed me that if a check was done then the check number should be on there, well it wasn't. I told the lady "I feel that this was a scam, people are depending on you all to provide them with a service because they need your help."the lady agreed and said she must speak to the owner first about the refund. Ten minutes later the owner calls me and accuses me of threatening them. I could not even speak to this gentleman at all, he was very irate and talked over me continuously. He threatened me with going to my supervisor to accuse me of threats. I informed him with "sir, I am a customer. If have an unsatisfactory concern then I bring it to you. That is not a threat sir." He refused to give me my refund and hung up on me. Their office absolutely reeked of marijuana as well upon the secretary allowing me to come in. Ladies and gentlemen of CENLA? DO NOT use these people... I encourage all to spread this message. Take your business and your money elsewhere to people who enjoy providing you with a service and is honored to be receiving your money. Dependable Appliance is far from dependable or professional.

I could see him on my camera and asked if he could wait 10 minutes since I would be right back. He said no, it was already after 5pm and he would come Saturday. I emailed the company with the email address on their page, as soon as it was clear he wasn't going to show up. Never heard from him again. Today is Monday and I had to call Electrolux and get them to send me another tech from another company. This is not the way to do business. I would rate them a ZERO if I could.
