The service charge…read morewas 100 dollars, which meant a "technician" drives to your home and simply takes a picture of the serial number and says "we will be in touch". Afterwards the appliance repair is almost $1,000 dollars... combined with labor. They say that your 100 dollars will go towards it but why? The whole purpose of an "appliance repair" is for what? To avoid having to pay money for a brand new entire appliance. I went to the business and voiced my concerns and that a refund for the 100 should be given. If not then I will do whatever I can to inform people to never use this business again. The secretary even agreed with me and said many are very unhappy with their service and told me that the 100 dollars could be refunded. She also informed me that if a check was done then the check number should be on there, well it wasn't. I told the lady "I feel that this was a scam, people are depending on you all to provide them with a service because they need your help."the lady agreed and said she must speak to the owner first about the refund. Ten minutes later the owner calls me and accuses me of threatening them. I could not even speak to this gentleman at all, he was very irate and talked over me continuously. He threatened me with going to my supervisor to accuse me of threats. I informed him with "sir, I am a customer. If have an unsatisfactory concern then I bring it to you. That is not a threat sir." He refused to give me my refund and hung up on me. Their office absolutely reeked of marijuana as well upon the secretary allowing me to come in. Ladies and gentlemen of CENLA? DO NOT use these people... I encourage all to spread this message. Take your business and your money elsewhere to people who enjoy providing you with a service and is honored to be receiving your money. Dependable Appliance is far from dependable or professional.

He was here, analyzed the problem, explained it to me and gave me an accurate quote on the part I would need and the labor charge, all for $20 as advertised. He told me that he could have the repair done today. I, too, am in the service industry as a Realtor. I will utilize his services EVERY time I need help with any repair services he offers.

He then called back Thursday and said he had the part in store and could come out same day to fix the fridge. However, this did not work for my work schedule, so he said he could come Friday. I informed him I had a doctor's appointment but would be there anytime after lunch. He said he would give me a call to ensure I was home before coming over. I waited until 2:30 pm and called his cell and the office phone. No answer, so I left a message. A couple hours go by and I call again, same thing. When my husband got home later that afternoon, I called again, no answer. My husband called and the guy picked up. He told my husband that he thought I was going to call him to let him know I was home and that I never did so. First, that was not the conversation we had. Secondly, I did call, multiple times, including right before that call. So, he did say that he would come the next morning (Saturday) and would give us a call in the morning once he got to his store to make sure we were home. He did not call and never showed up. My husband and I both tried calling both numbers he's called us from multiple times and left messages on both. No answer and no response. It is now Wednesday and we have not heard from him. Today is Monday and I had to call Electrolux and get them to send me another tech from another company. This is not the way to do business. I would rate them a ZERO if I could.

The AI that has been chosen to respond constantly sends emails, texts, calls and voicemails, even whenever the technician hasn't arrived or days before. Whenever I'm trying to actually find out when the technician is arriving, I can't talk to a real human or live agent because all that is available is the AI. I've tried to talk to a real, human representative, with no luck. At this point, with it being over two weeks without a washing machine and my washer unit still not fixed and no one to respond to except a pale imitation of human intellect, I've washed my hands of Sears Home Services and will never use them again, and I will encourage others not to use them either. Replace your AI, it isnt needed when you could pay an actual human being instead of being cheap.
