My wedding ring has never looked better! It is thanks to a very patient jeweler and my husband of course. My husband and I were getting ready to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We were very confused about what we wanted to do. We had my ring guard from our 10th anniversary that was missing a diamond and my original engagement ring that was in need of a crown replacement. We also had my original wedding band that had been dented (I kid you not) on Space Mountain at Disneyland which needed to be repaired and resized. While my ring guard was very beautiful, it never seemed to really fit my engagement ring. The jeweler supplied us with various options and the cost for each ranging from the least expensive to the extravagant. Some reviews state that this is a bad thing. It is not in my option. He just wants to be sure that you are pleased with the end result. First, he stated that we could simply repair the crown on the engagement ring and have the original wedding band repaired and resized (the least expensive option). Second he explained that we could replace the missing diamond in the ring guard and repair the engagement ring. Then he suggested that we replace every other diamond in the ring guard with a ruby or other stone of our choosing. He also suggested replacing the original diamond in the engagement ring with a larger diamond that would elevate the gaps between the ring guard and the engagement ring. The last suggestion was simply replacing the current ring guard with one that complimented the original diamond and elevated the gaps that way. Being a very sentimental girl, I refused to part with my original diamond. He suggested having it made into a necklace. It still wouldn't work for me. So the most expensive option was replacing the original diamond and repairing the ring guard with rubies or another stone, the middle option was purchasing a new ring guard, and the least expensive was repairing the original engagement ring and wedding band. I simply could not make up my mind. The only thing I knew for sure was that I still wanted my original diamond in my ring. The jeweler very patiently showed me a number of ring guard options. Still no decision from a very indecisive me. The jeweler suggested that I take my time deciding. I didn't feel pressured at all. The jeweler took note of all the various options that I liked. Then I told my husband that I just couldn't decide and that maybe he could come back later and pick one from the options that I liked with the help of this very patient jeweler. My husband returned later and made the perfect choice! I couldn't be happier! This jeweler deserves a medal for dealing with and pleasing this very picky customer! read more

Went here today to have a broken watch band pin replaced. Sounds simple but trust me it was a high end watch and nothing is simple or cheap for that matter. They took a look and said we will give it a try. I looked around at some very nice jewelry and the place is very nice. Five minutes latter they handed it back in perfect shape. My son was home from Germany to propose to his gf. I took them there and the sales person didn't listen to what they were looking for and kept showing them everything they didn't want. They left without purchasing anything. A few weeks later my hush and and I went back only to have the same sales person, we sat for a very long time trying to find the perfect ring set. We even asked to see the sets we could have a stone taken out of the wedding set I have and they weee reluctant to even show us those settings. We went back to just looking at what they already had in the cases and every ring we asked to see we'll within our budget, we were told oh that's without the center stone the price you see. We then asked to see something that we could take home that day and we told they didn't have anything, it would have to be ordered. I have never set foot inside a jewelry store that you couldn't walk out with something right then and there. We were also told that the prices on the tag on the ring were without the center stone. It was very a very sad experience. What a sad, passive aggressive ugly response. Instead of saying I'm sorry you were treated so poorly, you go trolling around to see where another review is left for another business. To even name that business and in a demeaning manner is very disappointing. I didn't name the sales person or even put any of your staff down. I just stated my experience as well as my families experience. We walked in to Vail Creek to replace a chain that had broken from a necklace my husband bought for me years ago. Of course, while there I began looking at different settings and wedding rings (I had been wanting to add to my current ring or get a new setting).
