Every time I head up I-70 into the mountains, I make it a point to stop here. It's not a cheap spot, but the service is always top-notch - the people working here are genuinely friendly and welcoming! I love their coffee, and I'm a big fan of the bacon quiches. Today I decided to kick off leaf-peeping season with a pumpkin spice latte, and it was incredible and not too sweet. In the summer, I usually go for their lavender lattes, which are delicious. The atmosphere is cozy, and you really can't beat the mountain views from this spot. Definitely worth a stop if you're heading that way!

I've always loved this place, and today was no different. I stopped by with a friend on our way to Breckenridge and she said she had the best matcha of her life (and she's picky!). I got the spicy pumpkin chai and it was incredible. The pastries were perfectly flaky and delicious. The baristas are always so sweet and personable. Highly recommend every time. Even if you're just passing by!

Great spot to stop between Denver and Avon! The Carne Asada empanada with verde was amazing along with the views. Friendly staff and fast service.

I've always enjoyed Vail Mountain coffee, so I was glad to find this location on the way to Georgetown. The coffee was great and the baristas were very friendly. I love that they have so many gluten free snacks! Thank you! We'll definitely stop by again on our next visit to the mountains.

The asada empanada was both tasty and large in serving size. I sampled my friends coffee had the bottled drink myself which was a nice new drink discovery. Price wasn't bad and it was next to a gas station so bonus points for the detour benefits. Good spot for a drink or snack in Colorado

This coffee house is beautiful and has really good coffee and a friendly staff. Located next to a board shop so it's perfect for snowboarders!

Loved this coffee shop! The lavender latte was fantastic--the espresso was rich and flavorful. I also picked up a bag of beans to take home. Plenty of seating inside, making it a great spot to relax. If you're passing through, definitely worth a stop!

Perfect pit stop on our way to Denver airport. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We got an espresso and iced vanilla latte. Tasted great and price was fair! We also tried their empanada, breakfast burrito, blueberry muffin, ham and cheese croissant and chocolate croissant. Many options to choose from. Even cold sandwiches and drinks. Also coffee beans to go. Very clean bathroom!

    Is there a drive thru?

We do not have a drive through but we have plenty of parking and an efficient staff to get you out and on your way. Also the cleanest bathrooms on I 70.

On our drive from Denver to Glenwood Springs, we stopped by for fuel next door and I walked over to this shop!

Can you resist a blind burro?? I think not!!!…read more When we found this caboose train coffee shop it was a must to give them a try! Great location off the hwy, drive through or walk in and have a conversation with the nice people that make everything fresh to order! There is an outdoor picnic table to sit and enjoy a drink and a delicious menu item! My flaky, warm spinach, feta croissant was quite delicious and oh, so fresh!! Chai Latte is a great combo! They also have breakfast burritos and more! Stop by and give the Blind Burro Coffee shop a taste!

Excellent coffee, wonderful baristas, and tasty, savory food. With coffee shops all around…read more(especially the big chains), I go out of my way to look for independent coffee shops, especially those who roast their own beans as does Blind Burro. The Blind Burro serves excellent coffee. I had an Americano today, which is probably the best Americano I have ever had. I treated my Uber driver to her request for a vanilla latte and she said it was outstanding. I buy coffee beans, grind them at home and do pour overs and I'm very particular about the coffee I drink. Blind Burro is the best! PS-This location is a "grab and go" and has a drive through although you can step into the shop and order at the counter. Only seating is outside. I go to the Frothy Cup in Idaho Springs when I want to sit a while.
