I've been coming to Empire Edge Grill for years and it never disappoints. My go-to order is the Empire breakfast sandwich and it is so good. I get it on ciabatta with bacon and their bacon is actually quality crispy, flavorful, not flimsy. The chipotle aioli is what really makes it though. So good. Heads up: this sandwich is big. Like, if you're not a big eater, you could easily split it. I didn't even finish mine and gave about a quarter to my mom It's perfect if you're about to have an active day and need something filling. I also ordered a medium matcha with vanilla and my total came out to about $20, which is a little pricey in my opinion but the portion size makes up for it. The matcha was good, but quick tip: if you like your drinks sweet, make sure to ask for sugar or flavor. I always forget and end up with a bitter drink lol. Everyone here is always super nice and welcoming. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place. I go here often and already plan to be back in a couple weeks. On my way up to WP, I needed some food to hit the slopes. Staying in G'town, I decided to hit Empire Edge on the way up the pass. Pulled up and enjoyed the family run joint and couldn't decide on breakfast or lunch. I went with the pastrami sandwich and they started to cook my lunch in front of me. What a surprise! We went there thinking the coffee would be good but not so much for the food. Boy! Were we wrong or what? My coffee was okay but JS enjoyed his cappuccino. They were busy cleaning up from the community Thanksgiving event they had hosted the night before. Wow! the best grilled chicken quesadillas on the planet; one order could fill two folks for lunch. And damn good coffee, too.

Nice stop to grab a bite and some breakfast before heading up to winter park. The burrito was really filling!

Forgot to tell you: Call them up when you're 15-20 minutes away and put in your order. They don't charge your card until you arrive. (Isn't it nice to be trusted by someone you don't know:). And you can drive up and off with one of their delicious breakfast sandwiches. Make sure to ask them to slice it in two if you're sharing since those babies are messy-delicious. Still a steal of a deal for the sausage breakfast sandwich on foccocia with aioli / egg / cheese. $10 serves the both of you an organic, scrumptious, meal! read more

I would list the Rueben as the best I've ever had and makes me wish I were closer. The cappuccino and Black-eye coffee were our choices and they also did not disappoint. Allie and Sarah (I hope I spelled your names correctly!) were so kind and so helpful in helping my husband and I decide what to order. We got the Breakfast Burrito with chorizo and the chicken quesadilla, and split them. You can get a green chile sauce for the burrito, we chose to get it on the side. Pastrami was classic and not too huge! Well-portioned and dressed. Breakfast burrito was steamy, well seasoned and a massive size! I found it totally reasonable that they have to charge a bit more for eggs at the moment given the current bird flu surge. Pancakes are SO GOOD. If you're a pancake hoe, def get one. This is one of those unfortunate instances where the food looked so good I didn't get a picture before digging in! An absolute masterclass of detail-oriented cooking, from the seasoning on the pickles to the toast on the bread, these guys care! I had a Ruben which slapped, while on the back plate used to be an egg sandwich with a bagel for bread, but it's long gone.. Delicious food and a thoughtful menu earn this place 5 stars, will be glad to come back if I get the chance.
