I came to Dr Val 4 months ago with extremely tight traps, neck/upper back pain, weak posture, as well as a painful nodule on my index finger. She treated me for all of these issues and each one has been immensely improved if not completely resolved. I wasn't sure if she was going to be able to help me with the finger, but the nodule is almost completely gone and has no pain now thanks to the light therapy she did on it. I was referred by a friend to see Dr. Val after dealing with terrible sciatica pain during my third trimester or pregnancy. I had never seen a chiropractor before but was willing try anything at that point as my doctor told me that sciatica is just something many women have to deal with during this part of pregnancy. I had been very active throughout my pregnancy and walking and working out is very important for my mental health, so when I developed sciatica it was truly detrimental to my day to day. I could barely walk and was in terrible pain. After just a few sessions, I already was starting to walk normally again and became pain free shortly after. I owe it all to Dr. Val and I'm so grateful that she has helped me throughout the remainder of my pregnancy continue to be active especially as other pains have cropped up as my body changes. Covid closures proved it as my appointments were unable to be completed as scheduled and I ultimately threw my back out for the first time in over a decade. Luckily, she was recommended to me a year prior to becoming pregnant with my second child and she was able to keep me in perfect shape all the way up to my delivery. Never one single back or sciatica flare up!
