I had the opportunity to try them twice from pop up events and just by their food I recognize it's Vale. I went to their Brickell location and ordered the Baja Steak wrap just for her to say no steak was available at the moment. The manager suggested we can add brisket to substitute the steak and did just that. The wrap was delicious and tasted clean. I didn't feel guilty eating this. The bowl I got left more to be desired. The proteins were great. I got salmon ($8 extra) which was very good. Steak ($4) and shrimp ($4) - both good. The spicy sweet potato noodles were alright, lemon garlic kale just tastes like kale, mushrooms were eh....the rest was just not super good. Didn't really like the vale vinaigrette, and soy citrus just tastes like soy sauce. Open until 11pm on a Tuesday so that's why I stopped by. I've been a fan of Vale Food Co since my Jacksonville days, long before they opened in Miami, so I know their brand, food, and usual portion sizes well. That's why I was shocked by my recent Uber Eats order from the Brickell location. I ordered two small BYO bowls and both arrived so under-portioned it felt like a mistake. To be fair, I did order an hour before closing, but I would've much rather the order been canceled for lack of product than to receive bowls that didn't reflect what I paid for. Stumbled upon this place when I was out waiting to dock my cruise. This is a healthy food restaurant which is setup sort of like Chipotle in which you pick your base then select the toppings you like for your bowl I tried the sweet potato glass noodles as a base and it was sooooo good. This is the second time I've stopped by Vale! Vale offers multiple bowl/wrap options as well as smoothies! They have a few different specials through the week so always check before heading over! For lunch I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap was good but it did take awhile to come out. If you're in a rush I suggest ordering the bowls! The wrap was very filling and a good portion for lunch! There's ample seating inside and outside and they offer a water station so you're able to help yourself! I've been a regular customer here, but yesterday I had a genuinely alarming experience that needs to be taken seriously. While eating one of their prepared meals, I bit down on a metal staple/wire that was mixed into the food. The impact hurt my teeth, and I'm extremely lucky I didn't swallow it or choke on it. I've attached photos so you can see exactly what was in the bowl. Finding a metal object like this in a meal is a serious food-safety issue. It's not just an inconvenience, it's dangerous, and it could have caused real injury. For an established grab-and-go food company, this should never happen. I've already reported the incident to the company directly and will be contacting the local health department so this can be investigated properly. I hope they address this immediately and take corrective action, because experiences like this destroy trust. I'm posting this so other customers are aware and so the business understands how serious this is. First time coming here and whoa...I will be back! The interior is beautifully decorated and the ordering section is similar to other places where you can choose what you add to your bowl. The turkey meatballs, the buffalo chicken, the salmon, all of it! There's even vegan options and if you ask for it, there is steak that they prepare in the kitchen that is not shown. I particularly love this place because they have so many options for the base, so many protein options, and so many sauce options. AND it's one of the few places where you can choose 2 proteins in a regular bowl, so you can try different things! They have a dragon fruit lemonade that I tried. It looks like dragon fruit more than it tastes like it, but still, it's good. But they have different drink options and some cute healthy desserts like chia pudding, banana nut balls and peanut butter cookies. I wouldn't recommend the peanut butter cookies, it doesn't taste like peanut butter. Now let's talk about the service. One word: generous. They are not stingy with their portions. This was a pretty nice visit while waiting for my massage in the Mary Brickell Village shopping center. The staff appeared friendly and the store was very clean. They have a couple of restrooms that are tidy and tons of options for food. I just tried one of their smoothies which was pretty good and had chia seeds in it. There were a ton of food options varying from bowls, to salads, to wraps, and even a selection of grab-and-go items you can purchase. My only complaint is that the prices for everything may be a tad high for what you are getting but then again isn't that a good slogan for Brickell in general? a strange experience. the food was actually good -- better than the usual suspects in competition and an easy four stars. unfortunately, the front end is perhaps the worst managed of any restaurant that i have ever patronized. a brief summary: first, they overcharged me. then they denied it. only admitted it when i pointed out incontrovertible evidence. and even then, only conceded the mistake reluctantly. they tried to fix the overcharge. sort of. just couldn't figure out how. it was only a few dollars and the line behind me was getting long, so in deference to the other patrons i let it go for the moment, took my order and began walking home.. after leaving the restaurant, though, i noticed that the takeout bag felt light. looked inside. half the order was missing. returned and the manager found a different order waiting for pickup with my item and gave it to me. so i took the replacement and started home again. unfortunately, when i got home i found that the replacement item was not what i had ordered. as for the other part of my order, it appeared to have been an attempt at proper preparation. but half of the ingredients were missing. i subsequently called my credit card company. no surprise, only the original overcharge was posted to my account. no indication of any attempt to credit the overcharge. ultimately, i had neither the time nor the patience to return and have the order corrected. so i just lunched on what they gave me. the sad part? it was good. not what i wanted. but, in fairness, otherwise more than serviceable. one other point. there is no usable menu in the restaurant. the menu behind the counter only gives a partial listing and rapidly cycles. not quite useless, but nearly so. and nothing printed is available. moreover, there is no online menu unless you click on the tab to begin an online order. clearly, incompetence which started in the c-suite and has trickled on down. truly sad, because the food shows promise. so four stars for the food and a generous minus two stars for the service. so good luck. you'll need it. read more

I ordered a small bowl with the chipotle Mac n cheese base, Buffalo cauliflower as my veggie and the turkey spinach feta meatballs as my protein. I ordered the spicy feta as a boost. The server working the line was not happy to be there in any way and she showed it. The place is gorgeous but the service was not good. The food was cold and very subpar. I would say the spicy feta was the only good thing (probably since it was the only thing that was supposed to be cold). I am so disappointed at how the food was compared to what I saw online. I had samples at the Sephora event in Brickell City Center and this wasn't the same granola. Other places give you more toppings for the same price.
