Pura Vida is a cute little healthy spot and one of my go to places for a quick lunch or smoothie. It's on the pricier side, but the quality is good. I usually get a smoothie and add whey protein and I honestly love their smoothies. Seating is limited with a few spots inside and some outside, and since it's always busy, I wish they had more space. Came here for lunch with my friend, all the service workers were helpful and kind. There is a little seating outside, and then upstairs is a really nice eating area. I had the banana brew with oat milk, date and cinnamon. It was good but I was expecting it to be more like an iced coffee, but it was more like a banana smoothie. The avocado toast was delicious! The Lime and cilantro paired well with avocado and the cucumber and radish gave a great crunch. We ordered two spicy tuna bowls for takeout and were very underwhelmed with what we received. For $24 I would've expected more than 4 pieces of tuna, a less than halfway full bowl of veggies, and maybe 3 bites of rice. I like a lot of the pura vida breakfast sandwichs and smoothies and have had great experiences dining in, but I would expect the same quality and quantity with take out. Disappointed with this visit and would not recommend takeout with pura vida. I hate saying that because I have always enjoyed dining in and there are lots of other menu items I really enjoy. The side salad came with their own Pura Vida vinaigrette. Which was yummy. I also perused their menu so I can see what I will have next time I visit. They offer wraps and sandwiches, an all day breakfast, bowls, superfood smoothies, juices and shots, acai bowls, coffee and tea, salads, snacks, sweet treats and even a children's menu. I might try their Garden Green salad which comes with arugula, spinach, mixed greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, carrot, pickled cabbage, radish, sprouts, scallion, chickpeas, micro cilantro, sunflower seeds and a green tahini and apple cider vinaigrette for $14.95 The cafe has a lovely calming atmosphere, very simplistic with white and cream décor. I would recommend coming here and also visiting the park that is situated opposite as well. It would surely make a very pleasant outing. The park is worthy as it is water side, offering shimmering Biscayne Bay views as well as interesting art pieces. Margaret Pace Park was created in the late 1960s and named in honour of Margaret Pace, who was a founder and past president of the Miami Garden Club. Pace was also chairwoman of Royal Palm State Park, which later became part of Everglades National Park, according to the Biscayne Times. There is also the newly opened Miami Woman's Club bay walk which also leads to the historical Venetian bridge. The park offers plenty of pretty trees, I even spotted an olive one. This time I had two issues, first, the avocado in the tuna poke was literally brown. Sheesh. Many of the dishes I've ordered from this location are sub-par to be honest. Second, the store only offers delivery up to 5 miles away. If you decide to be a loyal customer and order food via Uber Eats, due to their delivery iniquities, they won't put the purchase points on your account. I needed food delivered 15 miles away. They don't offer delivery beyond 5 miles, which I find inefficient and likely better handled by just adding a delivery fee (like Uber). After ordering a couple of hundred dollars and requesting the points be added to my account they said no. Meaning, Pura Vida prefers to lose hundreds of dollars orders instead of just adding a solution for delivery OR honoring points when loyal customers try to order from them despite their own inefficiencies.
