I'm surprised that this company isn't on Yelp yet so I had to add it as a satisfied customer. I've know the owner of Valencia Air -- Z. Falahat -- for a few years now and I can't even remember how I found him to have him do a tune-up on my very old and dilapidated air conditioning units. He's always been very nice and patient, always coming out to check on things with these old units and even coming to replace my dirty filters inside my house once.
I didn't feel ready to replace the 2 units (upstairs and downstairs) until this year because of the huge expense. But I knew we'd be in for a hot summer and I'd be out of town a lot on trips so I wanted to make sure that the units didn't fail in the dead-heat of summer...while I was gone. So, I bit the bullet and replaced them both.
The units Z. replaced the old units with are like commercial 4-ton units. And there are TWO of these babies! They dwarfed the old units in size and performance for sure! I'm soooo happy with the work. This huge crew came in, knocked it out in about 6 hours, and they were gone. Like Z. (the owner) says, "It's like we were never here."
Except I knew they were here because I was finally getting air in many places of my house where the forced air of the older units wasn't hard enough to push through the entire house, making 2 of my corner bedrooms very hot and intolerable for most of the day. I instantly no longer had that problem. I finally had an air conditioning system that I didn't feel was sucking wind to attempt to cool the house and biting my nails wondering if it would break at any second. The house now gets cooled down quick, almost like a commercial retail store or something, and stays that way! I've never had an HVAC system that's worked this well!
I had to add this business to Yelp because I noticed that they're not listed and it's a shame. I've called other HVAC and air conditioning guys to come out and they're a joke. Or some won't call back. Some were rude. Many (most) were rip-offs (including the company that's always posted in Costco) who end up selling your name and other information to every contractor in the state of California. (Thanks to the Costco air conditioning guys, my phone rings all day long with contractor solicitations and this has been going on for 2 years now so do yourself a favor and never give those guys ANY of your personal info if they try roping you into a free consultation...otherwise be prepared to be harassed by telemarketers for the rest of your life!)
I just wanted to thank Z. from Valencia Air and his crew for being so fantastic to me all these years and to let all of you other fellow Yelpers that Z. and his little-known (but excellent) company exists out there. Not only does it exist but, hands down, they are the best in Santa Clarita Valley for sure. (Trust me, I've attempted to use others and I'll never make that mistake again.) read more
