Anthony showed up early to help fix the A/C unit which was acting up. It was during peak summer heat when they get overwhelmed with calls. They figured out what the issue was and fixed it. My family has been using them for 30 years and they are completely transparent and honest when it comes to their work. Also nothing has ever gone "missing" you can leave money and jewelry out which is great since I hate moving things around which puts your mind at ease subconsciously. Also they don't pad the bill with filler services, even if they have to go out of their way and get in the attic they just charge you straight for the service without making up other charges. My GF recommended Frank and Air Masters to me and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation. Frank and his team put in a new A/C condenser for me in my backyard and replaced my furnace in the attic. I really liked the fact that Frank spent a lot of time on the job helping out his two other workers he sent over. Usually the "boss" shows up in the morning and you never see him/her again until the job is done but that was certainly not the case with Frank. The job was completed in a timely manner and everything was cleaned up around the work area. Both the A/C and heating units were tested and Frank came back a few weeks later to do the virtual inspection with the city inspector. I also had all my vents replaced which hopefully will increase air flow and the direction of air, others have told me in the past to do so and I finally took the plunge. Frank is really easy to work with and has great communication skills. He kept me abreast of everything and made sure I had all the documentation I asked for. I have been very pleased with the service by air masters. Mark installed a motor in our blower today. He was professional, courteous, and polite. I felt like he was honest and acted with integrity in his business. The reason why I am giving the company four stars out of five, is because the people that answer the phone at the office are not as polite and friendly. The lady that answers the phone, on more than one occasion has been very curt with me. I called this afternoon because I was having a problem with the thermostat and it being so cold after the service today. I wasn't sure what was wrong. The person that answered the phone this time was Frank. He was very aloof, and uncaring. In fact, he was rude. He told me to go basically figure it out myself. I explained to him that the reason I hired an air conditioning company was because I did not know anything about it. He was not very helpful at all. In fact, if he had been the first person I ever had talked to at this company, I would never have hired them. When are local businesses going to realize, that the person that answers the phone is the life and death of a business?? Is there ever a reason to be rude to someone? Especially when they genuinely don't understand something I need help. I am giving this company four stars out of five. Mark, you got five out of five, but I can't give five stars this time because of the way I was treated by the people that work at your office. I am residing in Valencia Hills, Santa Clarita, LA County. Recently. I decided to install a complete hitting/cooling system. Frist I called Allen Air. I found out they are nothing but bunch of crooks trying to install a refurbished system. After my disappointment, I called Air Masters. They came and installed a brand new Carrier Heating/Cooling 16 Seer system in less than a full day. They did their job very carefully, clean, complete, and professionally. When we decided to upgrade our antiquated HVAC system, we did our research and contacted several other companies, some of them came in with a hard sell attitude and slick presentations. The exception was Frank, the owner of Air Masters Air Conditioning and Heating, he stopped by listened to our needs, answered our questions and proposed a system to meet our needs. No fancy systems with unneeded bells and whistles, he didn't try and push any particular brand, just plain honest conversation and comparisons. On the installation day Frank, his installer Mark, and his crew showed up on time, installed our a/c and heating system in about half a day. I wish I could give them 100 stars! We've been using these guys for a few years now, and they are the best. Very responsive, professional, and trustworthy. Most recently, they squeezed us in (this morning) to fix our AC that stopped working right in the middle of a 112 degree heat wave.
