If you have late-night cravings (make that anytime of the day), this is the place to go! When I was pregnant I craved for a classic clubhouse sandwich. It took my husband awhile to find the exact things I wanted on it and they made me feel satisfied! I'm not certain about the other food they offer because I was too focused and only wanted to try the clubhouse sandwich. There are ample parking at the back too. read more

forgot to take a picture of my food , but i got the "VALENTINO'S CHEESEBURGER PLATTER" comes with a burger to your liking with fixings of your choice & a side of coleslaw & fries. i asked for mine cooked medium & when i say delicious i mean DELICIOUS!!! & the size of it was GREAT!! looks like a burger you'd see in a commercial LITERALLY! other that that i would have rather replaced the coleslaw with another side of fries bc the fries portion was a little small. other than that i HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!! read more

Valentino's is a neighborhood gem. Then first is ok depending on what you get. It's a perfect spot for Italian. They have the beat Caesar salad. The price will knock you on the head, but it's definitely worth it. I don't visit often, but when I do I always get the Edgar Allan Poe Basket w/ shrimp. read more

Their menu is a hit or miss. Breakfast is usually pretty good, but the entrees are bland. Each table receives a basket of thick, butter-less, flavorless breadsticks with their meal (which explains the endless glasses of water they bring to your table). The desserts are probably the best part about this place. A friend brought me a baklava cup dessert from Valentinos tonight. It looked beautiful but when I started breaking into it the whipped cream filling started to crumble. It made me think it probably wasn't made today or maybe even yesterday. But it wasn't until I found mold in the middle that I realized it must be a week or two old. Valentino's has been around since my college days & way before from what I can tell. Everyone loved it there. It was a great diner. What they are trying to do is make it a fancy restaurant w/ solid entrees... but the fact of the matter is, it's a diner. A very nice diner but a diner, nonetheless. As expected, this place is Awesome for a crabcake or any actual 'entree' type meal. However, I was on this side of town and decided I'd grab a sandwich. I was craving a good cold cut sammy and assumed they would make a great cold cut sammy. I mean an Italian eatery should know how to do a cold cut some justice, right?!?! You know, like a 'Dagwood Bumstead' Club sammy. Aaahhh well. Lesson learned... **womp womp** Let's start with the pluses... My server, Luis, was as usual, above & beyond perfection. I have been blessed with always getting him every time I go to Valentino's. He's a consummate professional and always 'chit chats' just enough to make you feel welcome. He is one of the best things Valentino's has to offer. Let's see... What else? The ice was fantastic. Cold, clear, wet. Well played, Valentino's. Can u sense my sarcasm yet? Next, The Minute Maid (pre-packaged) Lemonade was just as I expected. Faint yellow, watered down, just like it is in the carton. No wins. No losses. French Fries - These, I think we're actually the star of the show. They were fried w/ a crispy coating and had an incredibly warm, flaky interior. The PERFECT fry. I only had about 7, though. Why, u ask? Because I mistakenly took a bite of what might considered the flavor equivalent of going out, hopping in a dune buggy, driving hours to get there, and actually licking the Mojave Desert floor (pick a sand dune. ANY sand dune. I bet it had more flavor). I digress... And now, the biggest 'con' of all. This club was quite possibly the driest club sandwich I have ever had the misfortune of having placed in front of me. They even have the nerve to name this the 'Valentino Club' sandwich. What I can say with utmost certainty is that Rudolph Valentino (the theme of this eatery), whose movie posters are all over the dining room walls, looked at my sammy when it came out and I could swear, I heard the posters whispering, "PSSSSST Hey, I'm sorry...". Ole boy is certainly rolling over in his grave tonight. 'DAYUM, Darren. Why are you being so rough', you may ask... ? Allow me to break this overpriced dehydrator down.... Roast beef - grey. That's right. Not 'great' but GREY (like in a Crayola Crayon 64-pack) Turkey - dry w/ that gelatinous slime that is on the edges when u buy pre-packaged turkey breast meat (yuck) Ham - decent. That is all. Lettuce - minimal. At least if there was a decent amount of lettuce, the crisp wetness could counter-balance the dryness of the sammy. But nope. They may have used an entire leaf from the head of lettuce for that sandwich but... I doubt it. Mayonnaise - a hint, a whiff, a wish of mayo... But certainly no slather. Certainly no flavor. Bacon - what bacon? I think the cook may have rubbed the bread on some cooked bacon (from another customer's dish) for flavor. Hmmm - now that I think about it, I DID see actual bacon on there but for a 5-layer sandwich, I'm thinking more than ONE strip of bacon is needed (for the flavor & grease factor ALONE). Maybe I'm asking for too much but DAYUM, at least THAT ONE STRIP could have been a whole strip!!!! They completely missed the mark with this sandwich. Soooo, $13 later (for the club, alone)... NEVER AGAIN read more

Super delish! We are not local but travel 95 way too frequently. Decided to take a quick detour to Valentino's. Was super yummy I had crab cake over Caesar salad so good! Lettuce was fresh. Crab cake was perfect! No shells! Hubby had chicken breast stuffed with crab meat, amazing too. We loved everything. Wasn't crowded service was very attentive. Will be back! read more

The service was abysmal. I have a broken leg, so I called and asked if they could run it out to me. I was parked in the closest parking spot, less than 10 ft from the door. The woman on the phone refused. Sure, if that's the rules fine. What was horrible was everyone, customers AND staff watched me struggle through the two doors. I wrestle with the outside door which is extremely heavy. Then, with the extreme difficulty managed to open the second door. When I finally arrived at the register the woman had an attitude like I was inconveniencing her. I didn't even look at my order I was so upset. So I wrestled again with my crutches and the doors. Still no assistance whatsoever and now a bag also. I cried the whole way home. That's horrible service. That's really horrible service. When I got home it wasn't even what I ordered. read more

Love this place for years!! Always my go to when i want a great takeout meal, after hours snack, good dessert's, shakes, drinks and service!! The ambiance use to be great before Covid. This was a disappointment to say the least. We got the oysters Rockefeller which tasted like pure mustard. The seafood potato boats were okay but lacking any seasoning or flavor. Then the cheesesteak sub was bland. This was my first & last time ordering from here. read more

I had the two course lunch for $15 on Monday during Baltimore Restaurant Week. I ordered the Maryland crab Soup for my first course. I would've liked a little more crab meat; however, the outstanding seasoning gave it an amazing flavor. My second course was the salmon basket salad. It was huge and serviced in a taco bowl. The salad was fresh and the salmon was tasty and huge. I ate half the salad for lunch and the other half for dinner. read more

Valentino's is a family-owned and operated local restaurant serving the Baltimore community for 25 years. Our restaurant has an Italian movie theme inspired by Rudolph Valentino. Valentino was an Italian actor, and early pop icon. A sex symbol of the 1920s, Valentino was known as the "Latin Lover". He starred in several well-known silent films including The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, The Sheik, Blood and Sand, The Eagle and Son of the Sheik. His sudden death at age 31 caused mass hysteria among his female fans, propelling him into icon status. Though his films are not as well recognized today, his name is still widely known. Since 1987 Valentino's Restaurant of Baltimore has been family- owned and operated. Open 24 hours ... offering complete in-house service as well as a wide range of carry-out and catering. Meet the Manager: Edward n Dominic L.

Between the two of them, Edward & Dominic have over 30 years at Valentino's. I guess you can say they have seen it and done it all. Although from two different worlds as Edward is an immigrant from Kenya and Dominic the grandson of Italian immigrants. These two professional servers we consider part of our family. Our friends and customers know them by name as fixtures of Valentino's Restaurant of Baltimore and icons in their own right. Edward's & Dominic's presence here may be just as iconic as Rudolph Valentino that hangs on the walls of this local restaurant for 28 years.

If I could give a negative 5, I would. I use to frequent this place for "comfort" food until i witnessed rampant, savage racism by the hands of the owners. They tackled a young, black man down to the ground and hit him over and over - just because he wanted to use their bathroom. I witnessed it! !! Sad but true that this bullshit still happens in America!! You need to be ashamed of yourselves Valentinoes. I have observed so many people of color going in and out of your sorry restaurant since this happened...they have no clue how you really SEE them. I refuse to ever spend another one of my black dollars in your restaurant!! By the way, that young black man was a struggling college student who worked and went to school. He was not looking for trouble, he just wanted to use your facilities. I know my dollars alone will not make a dent in your business. But for me its just the "principle". I hope other people of color see this review and think twice about giving you their business. Better yet. I frequent Valentino's mostly during the lunch and early dinner hours the past five years and always enjoy myself. I have brought coworkers and friends in for a quick lunch and have never been disappointed for making the recommendation. The food is always real good and too much (plenty of leftovers for a later snack or next day lunch). What I am most impressed about is that this family restaurant has kept true to the family feel. There are always plenty of staff and although the servers and managers on duty may change from time to time what is constant is service. It would have been 10x better if they trained this chick with a neck tattoo that doesn't know how to talk to customers worst experience ever employee thought it was ok to tell my wife she was getting buck because we asked how could a transaction be declined when our account has 2 postings saying pending the bank even said money was taken out all she had to do was explain why and how but instead wanted to act like it was appropriate to tell someone who makes 80,000 a year they are getting buck when I didn't have to pay for anything after how we were talked too something needs to be done read more

Ten more minutes for him to bring back our drinks and take our appetizer orders. Literally sat there 50 minutes all together waiting on our appetizers. Crab dip was all imperial, no crab meat whatsoever. Shrimp scampi was sent back because the noodles swelled and were all stuck together. The food here is excellent. The customer service is great! and the location is pretty good. I came here a couple of months ago and everyone was so friendly. The drinks here are so good but my favorite meal has to be the salmon or the cream of crab soup. The way it is set up on the inside is very comfortable and cozy. The servers were great and the temp was just right. not too hot and not too cold. They also have tv's inside so you ca keep up with the sports games which is pretty cool. My boyfriend's typical order is either a Chicken Cheesesteak/Chicken Philly Submarine or Cheesesteak & Shrimp submarine. And like I said we typically never had any complaints, besides onions not being excluded upon request. I personally don't mind onions so when they forget it's no big deal because I can easily remove them or just eat is as is. However, my boyfriend does NOT like the grilled onion in his sub. And when it's a cheesesteak the onions are more incorporated all throughout, so if you're not a fan of the onions it pretty much ruins the whole sub. We also tried a few other items like the Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich, that I really enjoyed. As for the pastas...... we've tried the lasagna, the shrimp fra diavolo over linguine, and the shrimp and chicken scampi over pasta. The pasta portions are always great. You will definitely have leftovers, BUT I almost always have to toss it in a pan and season the pasta because the flavor is lacking. There's fries are also okay, my boyfriend orders them and never eats much of them. I don't think they're worth ordering personally. Their banana pudding is also good. I've never dined at Dino's so I cannot speak to the ambiance, but if you're looking for a decent sub or sandwich it's a pretty solid option for delivery. They also have TONS of options to choose from that I have not tried yet that other customers have enjoyed.

The fish sandwiches are $1.50 more than what the menu states. We drove from upper marlboro. Not worth it! They charge a 3.5% service charge and it's not posted or stated anywhere. Beware
