However, things got dicey when one dentist suggested he could put small fillings at the base of two lower teeth, where years of teeth-clenching caused the gums to recede. The fillings were too shallow and popped out within a few months. I scheduled again with a different dentist to have the fillings redone, as I now had shallow holes exposed from where the first dentist drilled. The second dentist did an excellent job with the left tooth -- but didn't do the OTHER tooth, which he should have seen had a small hole in it when I opened my mouth! I lost my job and couldn't afford to return to a dentist to have the work done, so now I have a cavity where I didn't have one before. So a word of advice: these dentists are freaky-busy, so be assertive: remind them of what you need. And make your concerns very clear, and push to have them satisfied, if necessary, so you can walk out happy. I have had good service from DA for over a decade, and I wouldn't let two bad visits deter you from giving them a try.

Another unpleasant surprise was discovering they charge a 3% fee for all credit card payments, which was never disclosed before I paid. Between the unexpected charges, lack of transparency, and poor communication, I left feeling frustrated and would not recommend this office if I could give this dental office, zero stars I would.

And when my kids have broken a bracket or something like that they can fit us in a couple of days. My son's retainer broke like 6 years after getting his braces off. Prairie helped us get him a new retainer even though we forgot to keep his mouth mold. Ignore the bad reviews when they were mad for not getting an exact quote over the phone. They have been nothing but AMAZING! My husband took my daughter to the initial meet and greet consultation. He was blown away by how friendly, quick, and thorough they were. The next day, I got in touch with Denise B, the coordinator, because my daughter needed to be done in the hospital due to her anxiety. Denise wasted NO TIME and submitted the hospital authorization. We were being a little difficult, schedule-wise, since it is hard for my husband and I to take off. They accommodated every change, from start to end. Dr. Anoki was so pleasant to work with. She took excellent care of my daughter! After the surgery, I took my daughter for her follow up appointment, and they got us in and out! I brought donuts because we were so thankful for them and the genuine care the provided. Everyone thanked me, and I didn't meet half of them. Just goes to show how friendly and welcoming they are.
