I will never go back…read more I parked briefly in the back area to get change and returned within five minutes to a $122 ticket. My car was on, lights on, and I was in and out. You're expected to pay to park and pay to use the laundry, which was not clearly communicated. When I tried to resolve this, no one replied to my emails. They claim a five-day ticket payment policy, yet it's been weeks with zero response. Meanwhile, the fee continues to hang over you with no way to make it right. I've lived in West Seattle for years and recently moved back, and I had no idea these were the parking circumstances. The enforcement feels predatory, the communication is nonexistent, and the entire experience felt like a cash grab rather than legitimate parking management

I rarely use laundromats. My townhouse has a perfectly fine washer/dryer stack, but when I have…read morehouseguests and have to clean a lot of sheets and comforters, I have to seek out a laundromat. West Seattle laundry definitely fits the bill. THE ROSES: Off-street parking behind the laundromat is very handy, unless you come at a peak period, it's easy to find a close in spot and not have to hump your wash a long distance. Very good selection of machines, including large (3x a regular load), and a few truly ginormous (5x a regular load) for tackling comforters. Lots of large-capacity dryers that do a very good job drying blankets, towels, etc. The staff does a good job keeping the place up. The two times I used it this week I noted very few machines out of order, and the facility was clean. I am particularly fond of their use of app-based methods to pay for your wash (PayRange). No need to scrounge quarters to run the wash; just use the app and you're good to go! THE THORNS: Occasionally you see sketchy people in the area, and sometimes they use the laundry. On my second visit some strange dude came over and tried to make conversation, then shared he *just happened* to forget to bring his laundry soap, so could I spare some money so he could buy some from the dispenser? Fortunately I was almost done, so I could just brush him off and leave. It would be nice if the management could do a better job of keeping the riff-raff out, but to be fair, this is better than most pubic laundromats I've been to. THE VERDICT: When you have a LOT of laundry to do, or need to clean bulky items, West Seattle Laundry can be your 'go-to' place! Recommend.

They were extremely quick to respond to my inquiry via texting, asked great questions to get a sense of how much cleaning the dress would need (they requested some pictures of the stains up front), and gave me a quote for the cost that I felt was very reasonable. The pickup and drop-off part of this service is AMAZING, especially for someone with a busy schedule! They scheduled pick up at my house within a week despite having a high demand for wedding dress cleaning at the time, and sent me an update about what they were planning to do once they had their wedding dress expert take a look at the dress. Their turnaround time was much faster than I expected and they even sent pictures right after the cleaning was finished so I could see how well it came out! I had not requested a steaming since I didn't have plans to use the dress again anytime soon, but they did one complimentary for me which made the dress look absolutely stunning and like it was brand new. There was not a single residual stain left and the dress did not smell like anything - it was just perfectly clean. The final cost of the cleaning was exactly what I expected from the quote and I felt it was incredibly reasonable for the amount of cleaning they had to do, the speed and very high quality of service, and the helpful communication throughout the process. I was 100% satisfied with the end result and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone!

I reached out to this service over email because of an issue and received an incredibly unhelpful…read moreand unempathetic, less than a full sentence response back. Will not ever use this service just for lack of decent customer care. Edit: It's funny that the response to my review got more of an explanation than the email (which for the record was left at "Sorry there is nothing we can do with dye transfer.") My inquiry was not rude in any way and warranted a more thoughtful reply. It is absolutely within my rights to leave a 1-star review as a reflection of my experience with a business's subpar communication. If you look at the other low reviews for this business, you'll see a pattern of poor communication skills. Service isn't just left at the product. It goes all the way to effective communication, of which this business has none, other than to double down and defend themselves anytime someone has criticism.

There are so many other cleaners in West Seattle. This is a terrible, terrible company. Here is my story: I moved to West Seattle about nine months ago and have never had a problem with any of my dress shirts. Some were old, some were brand new. But they all got ripped at House of Kleen. The elbows were definitely worn (they're dress shirts, after all) but again I have never, ever had an issue with my shirts until I started going here. As soon as I start going here, my dress shirts start ripping in the elbows. Something is going on at this cleaner and it is not good business. I am so mad this happened. I used to have 10 dress shirts, now I have three and I have to go buy more. All of them ripped at House of Kleen. When I confronted the owner, he flipped out. "I don't ruin shirts. You ruin shirts. Your fault. You don't come back here." Needless to say, I was stunned. He wouldn't even listen to me. He simply refuted my claims and yelled at me. I yelled back, naturally. It was embarrassing. Please don't go here. I am out hundreds of dollars of nice shirts and have nothing to show for it. House of Kleen is a disgraceful company with a bad owner who does not care for his customers. If I could rate this business lower than one star, I would.
