Well.... Up until today we had great service and virtually no issues. If memory serves me correctly we've been a customer for almost 2 years. That said, we ran into an issue where our clothes that were returned smelled like smoke. First time its ever happened so I called their number and spoke with Steve and explained the situation. He said they do not have anyone in their facility who smokes (we don't smoke at our house) and that they haven't received any other complaints. He offered to clean for free but could not pick up for 2 weeks. The two week delay is an issue as this was most of my button up shirts and I asked if I can get it cleaned locally and they reimburse us for the bill. Steve's response caught me off guard when he said "Sure, we'll reimburse you and then you can stop being our customer." Wow! Super hostile response and completely unexpected. Note: I wasn't upset with him regarding smoke smell and was genuinely trying to reach a mutually beneficial solution. I pushed back and asked why he would fire us as a customer and he back tracked and said he was "very busy" and "fine you can still be a customer, but I am busy and have things to do" and kept pushing me off the phone. Again, not sure what happened here and would have been happy to continue service even with the hiccup of smoke smell in our clothes if we could have reached a resolution. EXTREMELY impressed by the quality and service of this company! We had a festival in March where we served Bloody Marys and the table cloths we own were quite stained. We attempted to wash the linens ourselves but were not successful. We found Valet Dry Cleaning To Your Door online and are beyond satisfied by the speedy pick up and cleanliness of our linens. After a few disappointing experiences with local dry cleaners, I searched further afield and found Valet Dry Cleaning To Your Door. They swing by West Seattle on Mondays and drop off on Wednesdays. This is not a bad turn-around, especially for business travelers who cannot wait 4-5 business days. Pick-up and drop-off have always been timely. The supplied weather-proof bag protects clothes from the elements. Clothes arrive cleaned, pressed, and without the starchy residue that haunts shirts from some other places. Monthly payment by check is easy. Prices are reasonable, running only slightly higher than some places. Considering the pick-up and drop-off service, it is a bargain. Highly recommend, and suggest you use the Yelp deal / discount. read more

I was happy with their services until they damaged some of my clothing. I brought up the damage with Steve, who eventually offered me a credit to compensate for the damage, but then refused to pick up my dry cleaning after that, saying I should "find a dry cleaner closer to me" after I had already been using them for over a year... sure, if the 200 plus dollars I spend monthly is worth not properly fixing a mistake you made, I guess I will... thanks for ruining my clothing and then being a jerk about it... read more

Dry Cleaning delivery?! Sounds too good to be true, but it truly IS that easy. I simply send a text message (as late as the night before) for pick up the next day. Their pick up days are either Monday or Wednesday. But the best part of it is - their turnaround time is ONLY TWO DAYS! If I request Monday pick up, my clothes will be pressed and clean and delivered by Wednesday of that same week. Most dry cleaners cannot even have that turnaround time! In a world where technology and ease of use is king, Valet to Your Door has it down to a science. The fact that I can get my clothes dry cleaned in two days without having to drive anywhere is so easy! The prices are comparable to what I would pay at a traditional dry cleaners. So if I add in delivery, it's truly a bargain. The ease of use via text messaging and the monthly bill I receive, makes this a no brainier. This review is long overdue. Can't say enough good things about these guys. The convenience of sending a text, the quality of dry cleaning and pricing can't be beat. Their prices are much better than the competition and Steve is just so nice! It's rare to send your cleaning out on a Monday and have it back at your door by Wednesday. We have been using their services for over two years and never had a reason to look elsewhere. I highly doubt I'll have this option when we move. I just looked at my never-worn shirt and noticed that the cleaners (got it cleaned out of the bag) broke all of the buttons on the sleeves. I won't be wearing that to my interview. Sadly, this new shirt is an Armani (not really in-expensive) with mother-of-pearl buttons and the cleaners is on the other side of the world. To make matters worse, they advertised that they are experts with years of experience, etc. and everything is hand-done. That, of course, is why I paid extra for their service. I didn't check each garment carefully because of this and also because I needed them packed for travel. On the up side, the owner is really nice and the pick-up and delivery service is great. So, if you want your nice clothes ruined conveniently, this is your place! P.S. If you are in Seattle, I advise you steer well clear of "Valet Dry Cleaning to Your Door". Oh yes, they also lost my laundry bag I had had for over 7 years that went around the globe with me. The cheap replacement bag they gave me in return tore in a week. read more

This place is great! We have used them a couple of times. It is so convenient, more so than remembering to pickup up from a shop. Turn around is pretty quick and the clothes are always well cared for. The team is responsive to questions and get back to you quickly. Although they are located in Seattle, they trek out here to the 'burbs. My family is so appreciative of that. We will continue to use Valet for all dry cleaning needs that we have. read more

Avoid this business! I was so excited when I bought the Amazon Local deal because having my dry cleaning picked up and delivered to my door would make my life so much easier. I scheduled the first pick up for Monday. My clothes sat on my porch all day, never picked up. The owner claimed he couldn't find my house. He said he called and left a message. I never got a message. When I asked him what number he called he repeated a phone number not even close to mine. I thought his GPS might have been out of date since my town was annexed three years ago. We rescheduled the pickup but he couldn't come until Friday, 5 days later. I offered to give him directions. He declined saying he'd call if he couldn't find it. I gave him the correct phone number. Second pickup date, clothes outside all day from 6 am. Still sitting there at 6 pm! I called and was told again, he couldn't find my house. (Many other people always find my house). He claimed he drove all the way from Seattle. When asked why he didn't call me, he said he didn't have my number. Are you kidding me? Who would drive "all the way from Seattle", knowing he had trouble the first time, without taking the phone number? So now a huge bag of dirty clothes that I need for work will have to be taken elsewhere and I won't have them when I need them. read more
