First of all I am grateful to God that he provides me the opportunity to visit restaurants of my choosing. I visit Valle from Lorena. But today I am so disappointed and sad. I get the medium menudo and eat there. Today I got it to go. It came on a cup a little bit bigger than a small coffee cup. Very disappointed. Im sure I'll go back because they have consistently good menudo but I'm not happy. I'll never go through the drive through again. So sad. I guess I'll go get something to eat now, still hungry. Came in after a rough night of not feeling well headache, stomach cramps, and even calf Charlie horses but I was craving comfort food. And nothing comforts me more than menudo. This place is my go to for menudo, and once again it did not disappoint. The broth is rich and flavorful, loaded with plenty of trepas just the way I like it. It's hearty, healing, and exactly what I needed. I also ordered the taco al pastor, and it was fantastic...perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of flavor. Between the menudo and the tacos, you really can't go wrong here. Beyond the food, menudo always takes me back to Sundays with my prima, and her kids when we'd get a bowl and share those moments together. It's more than just a meal, it's comfort, tradition, and memory in a bowl. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for authentic, satisfying menudo and great tacos.

They definitely Morton salt rimmed my marg and there was a whisper of tequila in my drink. Definitely don't come for a fun time. Fajita chicken was certainly frozen and not made in-house. Quesadilla was leaky and soggy. Sorry fam, try another place.

I went back to what was one of my favorite restaurants when I visit Waco. Ownership has changed. They charge extra for eggs and the menu says modifications to your order that they feel require an up charge, they will charge you for. I should've taken a picture of it on the menu. I've worked in the restaurant industry for years and never seen anything like it. I understand needing to charge for certain modifications but the way it was worded comes across as if you want to change anything about your order they're gonna charge you for it. The food quality is not awful but has definitely gone down some. Super sad to see this place fall into the wrong hands. We won't be going back here anymore.

We liked the food so much that we stopped here on the way back from OK We got the fried shrimp basket and shrimp poboy the first time and got the Boom boom Shrimp starter, Atchafalaya Etoufee and, Gumbo and rounded it off with Beignets the second time on Mother's day. Food is absolutely delish. Not visiting this place should be a felony

RATING - 3.65 Cajun…read moreCraft is found just off of one of the main roads that's runs along Waco. Off its first appearance, the restaurant appears as your classic no-frills, get-what-you-asked for establishment. There is lots of outdoor seating, very fair pricing, and a surprisingly extensive menu; I doubt you'll fail to find something you enjoy here. Overall it seemed like a location that would be bumping in conjunction with Baylor college nights, post church service, or otherwise Waco-oriented affairs. My only complaint was really the smell. We came near close when some workers were cleaning, however there was an apparent chemical stench within the patio, between the inside seating and outdoor seating. My partner ordered the sausage po boy, while I ordered the fried chicken plate, wish mashed potatoes & gravy + green beans. The wait was rather long, which can be attributed towards the chicken's cook time - which might be front scratch. After we got our plates, I certainly couldn't complain. The chicken was decently sized and decadent with flavor. Consistent, strong Cajun spicing littered the tray and chicken, while its interior was extremely juicy and filled with flavor; additionally, it still maintained structure and provided a nice crunch on the surface. The mashed potatoes were equally as enjoyable. The gravy complemented the potatoes well, and established an equilibrium through texture. The green beans however, were not my favorite. They initially appeared fine on the surface, but became watered down and lacking in flavor the farther down the bowl you went. I would not be surprised if these beans were canned. I would certainly find myself eating here again. Its biggest appeals are the prices, genuine quality of food, and disposition. It is not perfect, but it is more than satisfactory. If you cannot get over the minor inconveniences that you may run into here, then you probably shouldn't be eating Cajun anyways.
